Ma Mʉweni Sulumani ge Melefit (MUY) vs VC
1 Ègia Melefit àvia sifa mʉwena ana kʉli a nahkay ti, a zlam ya kəgrum ni bu ɗek ti mbrəŋum cuɗay, mbrəŋum masəkaɗ malfaɗa, grum ere ye ti kəɗəmumaya ni, kə̀grum solu ba, kə̀sumivu ana mis ba.
1 Deponde, pois, toda malícia, toda astúcia, fingimentos, invejas e toda espécie de maledicência.
2 Wayum ma ge Melefit àna jiri, akaɗa ga bəza ciɓ-ciɓeni ya ti tawayay ɗuwa kəlavaɗ ni. Nahkay ti akədəgum kama kama àna ma gani akaɗa ga bəza ya təɗək ni, ti Melefit mâhəŋgay kʉli.
2 as newborn babes desire earnestly the pure mental milk of the word, that by it ye may grow up to salvation,
3 Kə̀səruma Bay geli Yezu ti naŋ sulumani.
3 if indeed ye have tasted that the Lord {is} good.
4 Həɗakumfəŋbiyu kà Yezu, aɗaba naŋ ti avay sifa. Naŋ gani ti akaɗa akur ya tələm ahay àna naŋ ni ; mis tàwayay magray tʉwi àna naŋ ndo, ay akur gani nani ti Melefit àdəkiba, àɓəlafəŋ àtam zlam ndahaŋ ni ɗek.

5 Ahàr àɗəm kə̂vumi ahàr gekʉli ana Melefit, ti mêɗezl ahay gayaŋ àna kʉli akaɗa ya teɗezl ahay àna akur ni ; ahay gani nani ti Məsuf gayaŋ anjəhaɗviyu. Nahkay ekigʉm ndam *njəlatani ga *maŋgalabakabu mis akaba Melefit, ti kə̂grumi tʉwi àna huɗ bəlaŋ. Tamal kəgrum nahkay azuhva Yezu *Krist ti àɓəlafəŋ kè Melefit.
5 yourselves also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
6 Aɗaba àbu məbəkiani a Wakita ge Melefit bu nahkay hi :
6 Because it is contained in the scripture: Behold, I lay in Zion a corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believes on him shall not be put to shame.
7 Nahkay zla nahəma, lekʉlʉm ya kə̀fumkia ahàr ke Krist a ni ti Krist àɓəlay àtam zlam ndahaŋ ni ɗek kè eri gekʉli ; ay mis ndahaŋ ya tə̀fəki ahàr ndo ni ti kè eri gatay ti nahkay do. Aɗaba àbu məbəkiani a Wakita ge Melefit bu nahkay hi :
7 To you therefore who believe {is} the preciousness; but to the disobedient, the stone which the builders cast away as worthless, this is become head of {the} corner,
8 Ègia akur ga mazəgaɗ mis a, akur gani nani ti mis etiji asak àna naŋ. »
8 and a stone of stumbling and rock of offence; {who} stumble at the word, being disobedient to which also they have been appointed.
9 Ay lekʉlʉm ti Melefit àdəkiba kʉli a, kìgʉma jiba gayaŋ a. Kìgʉma ndam maŋgalabakabu mis akaba Melefit a, kə̀bum kəgrumi tʉwi ana Bay gəɗakani, lekʉlʉm ti jiba gekʉli ti ge Melefit, lekʉlʉm ti ndam gayaŋ njəlatani. Naŋ àdaba kʉli a ti ga məhi zlam gəɗákani ya ti àgray ni ana mis. Àhəlaba kʉli a məlaŋ ziŋziŋeni ba ti kânjəhaɗum a məlaŋ maslaɗani gayaŋ bu. Məlaŋ maslaɗani gani nani ti agri ejep ana mis dal-dal.
9 But *ye* {are} a chosen race, a kingly priesthood, a holy nation, a people for a possession, that ye might set forth the excellencies of him who has called you out of darkness to his wonderful light;
10 Ahaslani ti lekʉlʉm ndam ge Melefit do, ay nihi ti kìgʉma ndam gayaŋ a. Ahaslani ti kə̀sumi cicihi ana Melefit do, ay nihi ti kə̀bum kəsumi cicihi.
10 who once {were} not a people, but now God's people; who were not enjoying mercy, but now have found mercy.
11 Zləbəba goro ni, səruma lekʉlʉm ti ndam mirkwi a duniya bu, kanjəhaɗum ti ga hayaŋani. Azuhva nani nəhi ana kʉli nahəma, kə̀ɗəbum zlam ga ndam ga *duniya ya tawayay ni va ba. Zlam nday nani ti tijiŋkia kʉli ke divi sulumani ge Melefit a.
11 Beloved, I exhort {you}, as strangers and sojourners, to abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;
12 Nihi lekʉlʉm kə̀bum akaba ndam ya tə̀fəki ahàr ke Melefit do ni ti, bumvu slimi, njəhaɗum lala, kàgudarum zlam ba. Nahkay ku tamal təɗəmki ma magədavani ke kʉli, təɗəm lekʉlʉm ndam cuɗay nəŋgu ni, etipi kʉli kə̀bum kəgrum tʉwi sulumani. Etipia ti atazləbay Melefit ka fat ya ti amara ni.
12 having your conversation honest among the Gentiles, that {as to that} in which they speak against you as evildoers, they may through {your} good works, {themselves} witnessing {them}, glorify God in {the} day of visitation.
13 Ègia lekʉlʉm kə̀bum kəɗəbum Bay geli ti gəsumiki ma ana ndam ya təgur mis ni ɗek. Gəsumiki ma ana bay ga ndam *Rom aɗaba naŋ gəɗakani, agur məlaŋ.

14 Gəsumiki ma ana gəɗákani ga kəsa ya ti bay ni àdiyu tay ni daya. Bay ni àdiyu tay ti ga matraɓ ndam ya tagray cuɗay ni akaba ga mazləbay ndam ya tagray zlam sulumani ni.
14 or to rulers as sent by him, for vengeance on evildoers, and praise to them that do well.
15 Melefit awayay ti kə̂grum zlam sulumani. Tamal kəgrum nahkay ti ndam muru ya tə̀sər araŋa do, təɗəmki ma magədavani ke kʉli ni etipia tʉwi gekʉli sulumani ya kəgrum na ti, atəɗəmki ma magədavani ke kʉli va do.
15 Because so is the will of God, that by well-doing ye put to silence the ignorance of senseless men;
16 Lekʉlʉm ti kə̀bum kəgurum ahàr gekʉli, ay ti ku kəgurum ahàr gekʉli nəŋgu ni ŋgay kislʉmki magray cuɗay ti kə̀humi ana ahàr ba. Njəhaɗum ti akaɗa ga ndam məgri tʉwi ana Melefit ni sawaŋ.
16 as free, and not as having liberty as a cloak of malice, but as God's bondmen.
17 Həŋgrumioru ahàr a haɗ ana mis ɗek, wayum bəza ga məŋ gekʉli, grumfəŋa aŋgwaz kè Melefit a aɗaba naŋ gəɗakani, həŋgrumioru ahàr ana bay daya.
17 Shew honour to all, love the brotherhood, fear God, honour the king.
18 Nəhi ma ana kʉli lekʉlʉm ya kəgrum tʉwi afa ge mis ni : həŋgrumioru ahàr a haɗ ana ndam ya kəgrumi tʉwi ana tay ni dal-dal. Ku tamal tawayay kʉli, tə̀gri zlam magədavani ana kʉli do, ku tamal təgri cuɗay ana kʉli nəŋgu ni həŋgrumioru ahàr a haɗ ana tay.
18 Servants, {be} subject with all fear to your masters, not only to the good and gentle, but also to the ill-tempered.
19 Maslaŋa ya təgri daliya day àgudar araŋa ndo ni ti tamal eɓesey daliya gani nani aɗaba àsəra Melefit a nahəma, Melefit amazləbay naŋ.
19 For this {is} acceptable, if one, for conscience sake towards God, endure griefs, suffering unjustly.
20 Ay tamal kàgudaruma zlam a mək təgri daliya ana kʉli azuhva zlam magudarani gekʉli ni, ku tamal kèɓesʉma nəŋgu ni way amazləbaki kʉli way ? Ay tamal kə̀gruma zlam sulumana mək təgri daliya ana kʉli azuhva zlam gekʉli sulumani ya kə̀grum ni, tamal kèɓesʉma ti Melefit amazləbaki kʉli.
20 For what glory {is it}, if sinning and being buffeted ye shall bear {it}? but if, doing good and suffering, ye shall bear {it}, this is acceptable with God.
21 Melefit àzalay kʉli ti, awayay ti kə̂grum nahkay, aɗaba *Krist àna ahàr gayaŋ gayaŋani day àcaka daliya ga mahəŋgay kʉli a. Krist àɗəfikia divi ana kʉli a nahkay ti, lekʉlʉm day grum akaɗa gayaŋ ni.
21 For to this have ye been called; for Christ also has suffered for you, leaving you a model that ye should follow in his steps:
22 Krist ti àgudar zlam ndo, ɗay-ɗay àgosay mis ndo.
22 who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth;
23 Ka ya ti mis tìndivi naŋ ni ti àhəŋgrivu ana tay ndo. Ka ya ti mis tə̀gri daliya ni day àhəŋgrifəŋ ana tay ndo, àfivù ma gani ana Melefit, naŋ ya agray seriya ge jiri ge jireni ni.
23 who, {when} reviled, reviled not again; {when} suffering, threatened not; but gave {himself} over into the hands of him who judges righteously;
24 Yezu Krist àna ahàr gayaŋ àhəlkabu zlam magudarani geli ni, àgray daliya àna naŋ kà təndal. Àgray nahkay ti, ti mîgi akaɗa leli məmətani, màgudar zlam va do, manjəhaɗ leli ndam jireni. Azuhva ambələk ya tə̀gri kà təndal ni àhəŋgaraba kʉli a.
24 who himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, in order that, being dead to sins, we may live to righteousness: by whose stripes ye have been healed.
25 Ahaslani ti lekʉlʉm akaɗa ga təmbəmbak ya tìjia ni. Ay nihi ti kə̀ŋgumoya afa ga bay mahətay kʉli a, naŋ ya ti abi slimi ana sifa gekʉli ni.
25 For ye were going astray as sheep, but have now returned to the shepherd and overseer of your souls.
