Mateus 22
Molima New Testament (MOX_FNS) vs VC
1 Taha wese vona sesebai Ieisu neidi vonaya,
2 “Mahala ana ʼEbeluvine ʼidewani taha kaiwabu ʼabwaga ʼivaʼavaʼaia natuna meʼolotona ena vaqi weaqina.
2 The kingdom of the heavens has become like a king who made a wedding feast for his son,
3 ʼInega ena tofewayavo luvetunedi itauya tomeqabu taudi lova vematamagilafu niʼa iʼewea ʼabwagana weaqina sabi ʼebeʼewadi, ta inoga.
3 and sent his bondmen to call the persons invited to the wedding feast, and they would not come.
4 “ʼInega wese ena tofewayavo vaina luvetunedi itauya taudi lova wese vematamagilafu iʼewea ʼidia. ʼInega iʼaionidi ivonaya, ‘Kaiwabu ena ʼabwaga tawa ʼivaʼavaʼaia, ʼinega ena bulumakau qiduana be vaina kekeyauvaudi maega niʼau luguhudi lubudedi. Ta yani qabuna niʼau ʼelumeo, ʼinega ona mai kana tauya ʼai nana weaqina.’
4 Again he sent other bondmen, saying, Say to the persons invited, Behold, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and my fatted beasts are killed, and all things ready; come to the wedding feast.
5 Ta inoga ge ida mai, ta ʼesi itutuvila itauya edi nuanua sabi viaqidi. ʼInega taha ʼoloto tauya ena vaoqaya, ta wese taha ʼoloto tauya ena sitoa ʼinaya.
5 But they made light of it, and went, one to his own land, and another to his commerce.
6 “Ta kaiwabu nana wese vaina ena tofewayavo luvetunedi tomotau sabi ʼaionidi, ta taudi wese inoga ta itovolo tofewa diavona iveilivu veifedi ta iluveʼaligidi.
6 And the rest, laying hold of his bondmen, ill-treated and slew {them}.
7 ʼInega kaiwabu nana diana vilea ta ena toluaviayavo luvetunedi itauya toluveʼaliga diavona ifofolidi ta edi ʼabaga ituini ʼalaia.
7 And {when} the king {heard of it he} was wroth, and having sent his forces, destroyed those murderers and burned their city.
8 “ʼAbiboda kaiwabu nana ena tofewayavo ʼidia vonaya, ‘Vaqi ʼabwagana tawa ʼiʼivaʼavaʼaina, ta taudi lova yavematamagilafuyedi edi ilivu veifana ʼinega ge adi fata ina mai.
8 Then he says to his bondmen, The wedding feast is ready, but those invited were not worthy;
9 ʼInega ʼeda magalua ʼinaya ona tauya ta tomeqabu ona lobedi ona ʼebeʼewedi ona miedi vaqi ʼabwagana ina vayavulei ina ʼainia.’
9 go therefore into the thoroughfares of the highways, and as many as ye shall find invite to the wedding feast.
10 ʼInega iʼifoqe ʼedaya ʼabo tomotau qabudi igaba vaʼauʼauqidi vaina luveifadi ta vaina aqiaqidi imai ʼabo vaqi ana vanue iluveagatunaʼia.
10 And those bondmen went out into the highways, and brought together all as many as they found, both evil and good; and the wedding feast was furnished with guests.
11 “Tuta nana kaiwabu mai ʼabwaga ana toʼai sabi ʼitadi ʼinega ʼoloto taha ʼita lobea ge ana kaleko aqiaqidi ta ʼesi bwavubwavudi.
11 And the king, having gone in to see the guests, beheld there a man not clothed with a wedding garment.
12 ʼInega vetalaʼaiea vonaya, ‘Iagu, maʼoda ʼinega ulugu mai ʼaiqa, mana baʼe kaleko diavona ge daluaqiaqiei vaqi ʼabwagana weaqina, waisa?’ Ta ʼoloto nana gebu ana fata vetalaʼai baʼe naveʼevivia.
12 And he says to him, {My} friend, how camest thou in here not having on a wedding garment? But he was speechless.
13 “ʼInega kaiwabu ena tofewayavo vonedia, ‘ʼOloto omoʼe ona kafia ta nimana be wese ʼaqena ona yoqonidi ta ona inoqei naʼifoqe velovelovanaya, omoʼe ʼinaya tomotau qabudi idoudou ta aladi kikokiko be wese visiqa vataya ilobelobea.’
13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him feet and hands, and take him away, and cast him out into the outer darkness: there shall be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth.
14 Mana tomotau qabudi Yaubada gabedi, ta ʼidiega ge ʼealidi venuaʼivinedi.”
14 For many are called ones, but few chosen ones.
15 ʼInega Falisi adi ʼaidegamo itoavaʼauta ta idima govaqa maʼoda Ieisu ina vetalaʼaiei, be edi vona ana veʼia ʼinega ena luveifana ina lobei be yaqisa adi fata ina kafia.
15 — ausente —
16 ʼInega adi toʼabibodayavo ta wese toluvine qiduana Elodi ena qabuyavo maega iluvetunedi itauya Ieisu ʼinaya ivonaya, “Toveʼita niʼa ahalamaniu eu ilivu tunutunuqina, Yaubada ena nuanua uveveʼita aqiaqiea ta wese tomotau edi waiwai weaqina gebu uda mwaniniva, ta tua vonahaqiaqi ululugaihiea tomotau qabudi ʼidia.
16 And they send out to him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Teacher, we know that thou art true and teachest the way of God in truth, and carest not for any one, for thou regardest not men's person;
17 Maʼoda unuanua ʼaiqa, nage luaqiaqiea be itaʼa me Diu kana takesi me Loma edi toluvine agona Sisa ʼinaya, nage gebu? Nuanuama ana alamania.”
17 tell us therefore what thou thinkest: Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not?
18 Ta Ieisu edi nuanua luveifana niʼa alamania, ʼinega vonaya, “Omiʼa touʼava. Tolaʼai weaqina sitonova omimiei ʼiguya?
18 But Jesus, knowing their wickedness, said, Why tempt ye me, hypocrites?
19 Ta mane taha emi ʼebetakesi weaqina oveʼitegu.” ʼInega mane nana ineia.
19 Shew me the money of the tribute. And they presented to him a denarius.
20 ʼInega Ieisu vonedi vonaya, “Ovonegu, baʼe mane nana ʼinaya, togama ʼayeʼayewana ta maʼoda ana wawa?”
20 And he says to them, Whose {is} this image and superscription?
21 Ta ivonaya, “Toluvine qiduana Sisa.” Tuata Ieisu vonedia, “ʼInega Sisa ena yani Sisa ona nei ʼeviviea, ta Yaubada ena yani wese Yaubada ona nei ʼeviviea.”
21 They say to him, Caesar's. Then he says to them, Pay then what is Caesar's to Caesar, and what is God's to God.
22 Ieisu ena vona inoqolia ta nuadi voqana, ʼinega inogei ta itauya.
22 And when they heard {him}, they wondered, and left him, and went away.
23 ʼAubena nana ʼinaya vaina Sadusiavo taudi ge ida vetumaqana toʼaliga edi yaʼitoto ʼevivi weaqina, imai Ieisu ʼinaya ta ivetalaʼaiea ivonaya,
23 — ausente —
24 “Kaiwabu, Mosese ena luvine vonaya,
24 saying, Teacher, Moses said, If any one die, not having children, his brother shall marry his wife and shall raise up seed to his brother.
25 “ʼInega baʼe wese ema veluluʼuya una noqolia. Taha ʼoloto ma tainavo adi yau seveni maega atoatoa, ta ʼoloto nana vaqi ta yawaina gumwala ta natu geqana ʼinega toʼwaiva nana ana gwavuʼifo wadaʼena maega ivaqi.
25 Now there were with us seven brethren; and the first having married died, and not having seed, left his wife to his brother.
26 ʼInega tauna wese yawaina gumwala ta wese ge natunamo, ta ʼidewani tainavo qabudi wadaʼe nana ivaqia.
26 In like manner also the second and the third, unto the seven.
27 Ta ʼabibodadiega vavine wese yawaina gumwala.
27 And last of all the woman also died.
28 ʼInega yaʼitoto ʼevivi ana ʼaubena ʼinaya seveni dina ʼidiega toʼoloto moqane otaqina, mana vavine nana ʼoloto diavona vaqidi ta wadaʼeyedi?”
28 In the resurrection therefore of which of the seven shall she be wife, for all had her?
29 Ta Ieisu edi vetalaʼai baʼe veʼevivia vonaya, “Omiʼa Buki Nugwenugweina ta wese Yaubada ena waiwai ge oda alamania, ʼinega emi vetalaʼai baʼe ge aqiaqina.
29 And Jesus answering said to them, Ye err, not knowing the scriptures nor the power of God.
30 Mana yaʼitoto ʼevivi ana ʼaubena ʼinaya tomotau ge ina vaqi, ta vonahaqiaqi, edi toa nawale kavona Yaubada ena tovaleʼewa qabudi mahalaya itoatoa ʼidewani.
30 For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are as angels of God in heaven.
31 Nage Yaubada ena vona Buki Nugwenugweina ʼinaya yaʼitoto ʼevivi weaqina ge oda avoi, vonaya,
33 Ieisu ena vona baʼe tomotau qabudi inoqolia ʼinega nuadi voqana ena veʼita waiwaina weaqina.
E ʼinega Falisiavo dina wese nuanuadi Ieisu ina vetalaʼaiea vaina yani weaqina ʼinega imai ʼinaya.
35 Ta ʼidiega taha luvine ana toalamani aqiaqi nuanuana vetalaʼaiega Ieisu nasitonovia, ʼinega vonaya,
36 “Toveʼita, luvine qabuna ʼidiega ai luvine ʼenaʼi otaqina?”
36 Mestre, qual é o maior mandamento da lei?
38 — ausente —
38 Este é o maior e o primeiro mandamento.
39 “Ta taha wese luvine qiduana baʼe ʼidewani vonaya,
41 Falisiavo nawale itoatoa ʼinega Ieisu vetalaʼaiedi vonaya,
41 Como os fariseus se agrupassem, Jesus interrogou-os:
42 “Maʼoda emi nuanua Toʼetoyavua Keliso weaqina? Tauna toga ena gadeyega ʼifoqe?” Ta ivonaya, “Kini Deibida ena gadeyega.”
42 Que pensais vós de Cristo? De quem é filho? Responderam: De Davi!
43 ʼInega Ieisu vonaya, “Maʼoda ʼinega lova Niboana Gwalagwalana ena venuahaʼu ʼinega Deibida Toʼetoyavua nana ʼawa-Kaiwabuyea vonaya,
43 Como então, prosseguiu Jesus, Davi, falando sob inspiração do Espírito, chama-o Senhor, dizendo:
44 — ausente —
45 Ta ʼeguma Deibida Keliso ʼawa-Kaiwabuyea, ʼinega maʼoda ana fata be Toʼetoyavua Keliso Deibida ena gadeyega ʼifoqe?”
46 Ieisu ena vetalaʼai baʼe ge taha toga ana fata daveʼiei. Ta baʼe tuta nana ʼinega ge taha toga datovoi be Ieisu davetalaʼaiei, mana ena alamani weaqina imwaninivea.
