2 Timóteo 2
Montgomery New Testament (MONT) vs AAI
1 Do you then, my son, strengthen you heart in the grace which is in Christ Jesus.
1 Baise natu, Keriso Jesu ana manaw ana kabeber wanawananamaim inafair.
2 The teachings which you have heard from me, attested by many witnesses, deliver into the keeping of faithful men, who in their turn will be able to teach others also.
2 Bai’obaiyen sifrubonayah maumurih nahimaim abinan inonowar inab, naatu sabuw iyab kubitutumih, iti tur inaya’abun hinab, saise i auman sabuw afa hini’obaiyih.
3 Take your share in suffering as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.
3 Aki biyai ebababanabe obo auman aunowa biya nababan Keriso Jesu ana baiyowayan gewasin na’atube.
4 A soldier in active service avoids entangling himself in the every- day affairs of life, so that he may please his commander.
4 Orot yait sorodiy ana bowabowamaim ema’am i boro turobe nabow ana orot ukwarin niyasisir, men natit ufun bar merar ana bowabow auman nagamuw nabowamih.
5 And again, an athlete is not crowned unless he obeys the rules of the game.
5 Orot nunuw isan ebowabow gaigiwas boro men asir nanunuw turahinah ni’iyonsairih siwar nabaimih, baise nunuw ana bai’obaiyen hibi’obaiy ni’ufunun boro nanunuw turahinah ni’iyonsairih.
6 The farmer who has done the work should be the first to get a share of the crop.
6 Orot yait masaw bow raro’on ebababan hinafafour ana veya, nati orot i boro wan hinakusib aunowan hinitin.
7 Reflect on what I am telling you. The Lord will give you understanding in everything.
7 Abisa ao i nuhimaim nama inanot, naatu Regah boro nibaisi nuhi nakusisib sawar etei ao inaso’ob.
8 Always remember that Jesus Christ, a descendant of David, has been raised from the dead according to the gospel I proclaim.
8 Jesu Keriso, David uwan, morobone God iyawas maiye mimisir, i ayu au Tur Gewasin ukwarin nati i abibinan.
9 For preaching it I am suffering, and am even put in chains as a malefacter.
9 Anayabin ayu Tur Gewasin abibinan isan biyababan abaib, ana itinin i bainowan orot na’atube hifatumu ama’am. Baise God ana tur i men hifatum.
10 But Gods message is no prisoner. That is why I endure everything for the sake of the chosen, that they also may obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.
10 Isan imih God ana sabuw rurubinih wabihimaim ayu biyababan fokarih etei wanawanah arun ewawainabu, saise i auman Keriso Jesu’une yawas enan hinab naatu yawas ma’ama wanatowan ana bonamanamarin wanawanan hinarun.
11 Faithful is the saying. "If we have died with him, we shall also live with him.
11 Iti tur i turobe,
12 If we endure suffering, we shall also reign with him. If we disown him, he too will disown us.
12 biyababanamaim nawawainabit na’at,
13 If we prove faithless. he abides faithful, for he cannot be false to himself."
13 It men tanabobosunusunub na’at,
14 Always call these truths to mens mind; adjuring them in the presence of God to avoid controversy. It is a useless thing, and subverts those who listen to it.
14 A sabuw hai tur ina’owen nuhih inakusib iti sawar isah, God nanamaim tur fokarin ina’uwih inimatnuwih; sawar hai yabih en, isah men turamaim hinagam. Nati boro men ana gewasin ta hinab, baise sabuw iyab tur tenonowar i tigugurusih.
15 Strive earnestly to present yourself unto God, tested and proved worthy by trial, a workman unashamed, ever cutting a straight path for the message of the truth.
15 Baise inabow sunusunub, God na’iti o i turobe kubowabow, naatu God ana tur yabin inaso’ob gewas sabuw ini’obaiyih, saise kubowabow isan God nabibatiy boro men biya na’ohow.
16 but avoid profane babble; for people will go farther and farther in impiety,
16 Sabuw iyab God men tekakakafiy naatu koko’awabe teo’okwanekwan kwanahaiwih, anayabin sabuw boro hinanawiyih God biyanamaim hinatit hai ef nawarorom.
17 and their teaching will spread like a gangrene.
17 Hai bai’obaiyen i roufair orot biyan ean gegedar enan na’atube. Wanawanahimaim i orot rou’ab, Haimeneus naatu Philetus hairi iti bai’obaiyen tibi’obaiyi i kwana’itin gewas.
18 Among such are Hymenaeus and Philetus, who have gone astray concerning the truth by declaring that the resurrection is already past; and they are undermining the faith of some.
18 Iti orot rou’ab bai’obaiyen anababatun hikwahir hitit, naatu hai binanumaim hio morobone misir maiye i mataraka, boro men namatar maiye’emih, iti na’atube hio baitumatumayah afa hai baitumatum tigugurus.
19 Nevertheless Gods firm foundation stands unshaken, bearing this inscription, THE LORD KNOWS THOSE WHO ARE HIS, and this also, LET EVERY ONE WHO NAMES THE NAME OF THE LORD RENOUNCE WICKEDNESS.
19 Baise God ana taf badowanin rarouw i boro men yait ta niyuyuw. Iti taf afe’enamaim tur iti hikirum, “Regah so’ob iyab i nowan.” naatu “Iyab teo ayu i Regah nowan gewasin kakafihine dogor baikitabir hinab.”
20 Now in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay, some for noble, some for ignoble uses.
20 Bar gagamin wanawanan ror kafet, hai yumat i ta ta, afa i silver, naatu afa i gold, afa i tew, afa i naukwat, naatu iti sawar afa i bowabow gagamih isah, afa i bowabow gidigidih isah.
21 If then a man keeps himself clear of these latter, he will be a vessel for honor, consecrated, useful to the Master, prepared for every good work.
21 Orot yait kakafihine nahaiw taiyuwin nakukusouw na’at, karam boro hinab sawar gagamih isan nabow, anayabin i taiyuwin ya’asair ana orot ukwarin isan bowamih yabuna.
22 Flee from the passions of youth, but run after righteousness, faith, love, and peace, in company with those who out of a pure heart call upon the Lord.
22 Monok ana yawas kwanahaiw, yawas yamutufurin, baitumatum, yabow, tufuw, isah a not imaim kwanayai kwananuwih kwanab, Kirisiyan afa dogoroh rousouwin bairi kwanita’imon Regah ana baibais isan kwanifefeyan.
23 Ever shun foolish and puerile discussions, for you know that they lead to quarrels.
23 Baise sabuw hai not en koko’aw sabuw na’atube kwanahaiwih; kwanaso’ob nati sabuw i gamin baibuya’ayah.
24 The Lords slave must not quarrel, but must be kind to all men; a skilful teacher, patient of wrong.
24 Regah ana akirwairafin i men nagam kwanekwan, baise sabuw etei isah nigewasin, yaten nanub ni’obaiyih.
25 He must be gentle when instructing opponents; for possibly God may give them a change of mind for the recognition of the truth,
25 Tur hamehamenamaim sabuw iyab i tirurukoukuw nayamutufurih, God boro hai ef niwa’an naham dogor baikitabir hinab naatu hinan turobe hinaso’ob.
26 and they may come to their senses again, and escape the snare of the devil, as they are restored to life by God to do his will.
26 Naatu hai not namatabir maiye nan natitit ana veya’amaim, demon buwih fatumih hima fanan hibai ana kok hisisinaf boro hinahaiw hinatit.
