1 Coríntios 13
Montgomery New Testament (MONT) vs AAI
1 Though I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have no love, I am become a clanging brass, or a clashing cymbal.
1 Ayu i karam boro menau nabotabir sabuw hai turamaim anao, o tounamatar hai tur anao, baise auru yabow en na’at, au tur ao i naniyan en ber terab etefotef na’atube.
2 Though I have the gift of prophecy and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.
2 Naatu ayu i God biyanane tur abai ao’orereb, ayu i so’ob wairafu, tur wa’iwa’irih hai kirikirifot etei aso’ob, ayu i baitumatum auru karam oyaw anao na’uy ra’ah nan. Baise auru yabow en na’at, ayu i au yabin en.
3 And though I sell all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it avails me nothing.
3 Ayu karam au sawar etei yababan sabuw ana faramih naatu biyau ana kwahir siboromih hina’afun, baise auru yabow en na’at, ana gewasin boro men ta anab.
4 Love suffers long and is kind; love envies not; love makes no parade, is not puffed up,
4 Yabow i yatenuban, yabow i koununub gewasin, yabow i men baibobowenayan, men bai’o’orotoyan, men ora’ara’atayan, men baitengogorayan,
5 is not rude, nor selfish, nor easily provoked. Love bears no malice, never rejoices over wrong-doing,
5 yabow i men okwanekwaneyan, yabow men i taiyuwin ana gewasin enunuwetamih, men baiyaso’arayan, sabuw hai kakafih ana bukamaim men ekikirum,
6 but rejoices when the truth rejoices.
6 yabow kakafin isan men ebiyasisir, baise turobe isan i ebiyasisir.
7 It knows how to be silent, it is trustful, hopeful, patient, enduring.
7 Yabow i mar etei etatafafar, mar etei ebitumatum, mar etei nuhifotamaim ema’am, mar etei ebitafofor.
8 Love never fails; but though there are prophecies, they will fail; though there are tongues, they will cease; though there is knowledge, it will be superseded.
8 Yabow i ana yomanin en, dinabatur tao’orereb boro nasawar, menat ebotabir tur afa tao etei boro hinanutanub, abisa tasoso’ob etei boro nasisinasair.
9 For our knowing is imperfect, and our prophesying is imperfect;
9 Anayabin it i turinawat taso’ob, naatu dinabatur tur i turinawat tao’orereb. boro men tutufin tanaorereb nan yomanin tanisawarimih.
10 but when the perfect is come, then the perfect will be done away.
10 Baise koubaitotor ana veya nanan, sawar men koubatotoramaim ti’inu’in boro nasawar.
11 When I was a child I spoke like a child, felt like a child, thought like a child; now that I am become a man, I have done with childish things.
11 Kek ana veya, kek hai tur ao, kek hai not anot, kek hai naniyanamaim ama, boun ana abi’orot ana veya, kek ana bowabow etei aihamiy.
12 For now we see as in a mirror, and are baffled, but then face to face; now I know in fragments, but then shall I understand even as I also have been understood.
12 Abisa boun ta’i’itin i men ta’i’inan gewas, anayabin kiyam matan sukwayan na’atube, imih God men tai’itin gewas, baise veya nanan, imaibo yumatan boro tana’itin naatu itabo yumatat na’itin. Naatu sawar tutufin etei boro tanaso’ob nan na’asa’ub, boun i turinawat taso’ob.
13 Faith, Hope, Love endure - these three; but the greatest of these is Love.
13 Naatu boun i sawar tounu tema’am, baitumatum, nuhifot, yabow, baise wanawanahimaim yabow i gagamin.
