1 By the sons of Korach; a psalm or song. It is founded by him on holy mountains.
1 Ele edificou sua cidade sobre o monte santo;
2 The Lord loveth the gates of Zion more than all the dwellings of Jacob.
2 o Senhor ama as portas de Sião mais do que qualquer outro lugar de Jacó.
3 Glorious things are spoken of thee, O city of God. Selah.
3 Coisas gloriosas são ditas de ti, ó cidade de Deus! Pausa
4 I will make mention of Rahab and Babylon as those that know me; behold, here is Philistia, and Tyre, with Ethiopia: "This man was born there."
4 "Entre os que me reconhecem incluirei Raabe e Babilônia, além da Filístia, de Tiro, e também da Etiópia, como se tivessem nascido em Sião. "
5 But of Zion will it be said, "This and that man were born in her:" and the Most High himself doth establish her.
5 De fato, acerca de Sião se dirá: "Todos estes nasceram nela, e o próprio Altíssimo a estabelecerá".
6 The Lord will number when he writeth down nations. "This man was born there." Selah.
6 O Senhor escreverá no registro dos povos: "Este nasceu ali". Pausa
7 And the singers as well as the players on instruments shall be there: all my springs of joy are in thee.
7 Com danças e cânticos, dirão: "Em Sião estão as nossas origens! "
