¹ By the sons of Korach; a psalm or song. It is founded by him on holy mountains.

¹ O seu fundamento está nos montes santos.

² The Lord loveth the gates of Zion more than all the dwellings of Jacob.

² O Senhor ama as portas de Sião mais do que todas as habitações de Jacó.

³ Glorious things are spoken of thee, O city of God. Selah.

³ Coisas gloriosas se dizem de ti, ó cidade de Deus. (Selá)

⁴ I will make mention of Rahab and Babylon as those that know me; behold, here is Philistia, and Tyre, with Ethiopia: "This man was born there."

⁴ Dentre os que me conhecem, farei menção de Raabe e de Babilônia; eis que da Filístia, e de Tiro, e da Etiópia, se dirá: Este é nascido ali.

⁵ But of Zion will it be said, "This and that man were born in her:" and the Most High himself doth establish her.

⁵ E de Sião se dirá: Este e aquele nasceram ali; e o mesmo Altíssimo a estabelecerá.

⁶ The Lord will number when he writeth down nations. "This man was born there." Selah.

⁶ O Senhor , ao fazer descrição dos povos, dirá: Este é nascido ali. (Selá)

⁷ And the singers as well as the players on instruments shall be there: all my springs of joy are in thee.

⁷ E os cantores e tocadores de instrumentos entoarão: Todas as minhas fontes estão em ti.
