¹ By the sons of Korach; a psalm or song. It is founded by him on holy mountains.

¹ Fundada por ele sobre os montes santos,

² The Lord loveth the gates of Zion more than all the dwellings of Jacob.

² o Senhor ama as portas de Sião mais do que as habitações todas de Jacó.

³ Glorious things are spoken of thee, O city of God. Selah.

³ Gloriosas coisas se têm dito de ti, ó cidade de Deus!

⁴ I will make mention of Rahab and Babylon as those that know me; behold, here is Philistia, and Tyre, with Ethiopia: "This man was born there."

⁴ Dentre os que me conhecem, farei menção de Raabe e da Babilônia; eis aí Filístia e Tiro com Etiópia; lá, nasceram.

⁵ But of Zion will it be said, "This and that man were born in her:" and the Most High himself doth establish her.

⁵ E com respeito a Sião se dirá: Este e aquele nasceram nela; e o próprio Altíssimo a estabelecerá.

⁶ The Lord will number when he writeth down nations. "This man was born there." Selah.

⁶ O Senhor , ao registrar os povos, dirá: Este nasceu lá.

⁷ And the singers as well as the players on instruments shall be there: all my springs of joy are in thee.

⁷ Todos os cantores, saltando de júbilo, entoarão: Todas as minhas fontes são em ti.
