¹ By the sons of Korach; a psalm or song. It is founded by him on holy mountains.

² The Lord loveth the gates of Zion more than all the dwellings of Jacob.

² O SENHOR ama os portões de Sião mais do que todas as habitações de Jacó.

³ Glorious things are spoken of thee, O city of God. Selah.

³ Coisas gloriosas são faladas de ti, ó cidade de Deus. Selá.

⁴ I will make mention of Rahab and Babylon as those that know me; behold, here is Philistia, and Tyre, with Ethiopia: "This man was born there."

⁴ Eu farei menção de Raabe e de Babilônia para aqueles que me conhecem; contemplai Filístia e Tiro, com Etiópia; este homem nasceu lá.

⁵ But of Zion will it be said, "This and that man were born in her:" and the Most High himself doth establish her.

⁶ The Lord will number when he writeth down nations. "This man was born there." Selah.

⁷ And the singers as well as the players on instruments shall be there: all my springs of joy are in thee.
