1 Now these are the generations of Esau, who is Edom.
1 Eis a descendência de Esaú, também chamado Edom.
2 Esau took his wives of the daughters of Canaan; Adah the daughter of Elon the Hittite, and Aholibamah the daughter of Anah the daughter of Zibeon the Hivite;
2 Esaú tomou suas mulheres entre as filhas de Canaã: Ada, filha de Elon, o hiteu; Oolibama, filha de Ana, filha de Sebeon, o heveu;
3 And Bahsemath Ishmael’s daughter, the sister of Nebayoth.
3 e Basemat, filha de Ismael, irmã de Nabaiot.
4 And Adah bore to Esau Eliphaz; and Bahsemath bore Reuel;
4 Ada deu a Esaú, Elifaz; Basemat deu à luz Rauel, e Oolibama deu à luz Jeus, Ielon e Coré.
5 And Aholibamah bore Yeush, and Ya’lam, and Korach: these are the sons of Esau, that were born unto him in the land Canaan.
5 Tais são os filhos nascidos a Esaú na terra de Canaã.
6 And Esau took his wives, and his sons, and his daughters, and all the persons of his house, and his cattle, and all his beasts, and all his substance, which he had gotten in the land of Canaan; and went into another country from the face of his brother Jacob.
6 Esaú tomou suas mulheres, seus filhos e suas filhas, assim como todo o seu pessoal, seus rebanhos, seus animais e todos os bens que tinha adquirido na terra de Canaã, e mudou-se para longe de seu irmão Jacó.
7 For their riches were more than that they might dwell together; and the land of their sojourning could not bear them, because of their cattle.
7 Seus bens eram, com efeito, numerosos demais para que pudessem morar juntos, e a terra em que habitavam não lhes bastava, por causa dos seus muitos rebanhos.
8 Thus dwelt Esau in mount Seir: Esau is Edom.
8 Esaú estabeleceu-se na montanha de Seir. Esaú chamava-se também Edom.
9 And these are the generations of Esau the father of the Edom in mount Seir.
9 Eis a descendência de Esaú, pai de Edom, na montanha de Seir.
10 These are the names of Esau’s sons: Eliphaz the son of Adah the wife of Esau, Reuel the son of Bahsemath the wife of Esau.
10 Estes são os nomes dos filhos de Esaú: Elifaz, filho de Ada, mulher de Esaú; Rauel, filho de Basemat, mulher de Esaú.
11 And the sons of Eliphaz were Teman, Omar, Zepho, and Ga’tam, and Kenaz.
11 Os filhos de Elifaz foram: Temã, Omar, Sefo, Gatão e Cenez.
12 And Timna was concubine to Eliphaz Esau’s son: and she bore to Eliphaz Amalek; these were the sons of Adah, Esau’s wife.
12 Elifaz, filho de Esaú, tomou uma concubina, Tamna que lhe deu à luz Amalec. Estes são os filhos de Ada, mulher de Esaú.
13 And these are the sons of Reuel: Nachath, and Zerach, Shammah, and Mizzah; these were the sons of Bahsemath, Esau’s wife.
13 Eis os filhos de Rauel: Naat, Zara, Sama e Meza. São estes os filhos de Basemat, mulher de Esaú.
14 And these were the sons of Aholibamah, the daughter of Anah the daughter of Zibeon, Esau’s wife: and she bore to Esau Yeush, and Ya’lam, and Korach.
14 Eis os filhos de Oolibama, filha de Ana, filha de Sebeon, mulher de Esaú: ela deu à luz Esaú, Jeus, Ielon e Coré.
15 These are the dukes of the sons of Esau; the sons of Eliphaz the first–born of Esau: duke Teman, duke Omar, duke Zepho, duke Kenaz,
15 Eis os chefes das tribos dos filhos de Esaú. Filhos de Elifaz, primogênito de Esaú: o chefe Temã, o chefe Omar, o chefe Sefo, o chefe Cenez, o chefe Coré,
16 Duke Korach, duke Ga’tam, duke Amalek; these are the dukes of Eliphaz in the land of Edom; these are the sons of Adah.
16 o chefe Gatão, o chefe Amalec. Estes são os chefes saídos de Elifaz, na terra de Edom; tais são os filhos de Ada.
17 And these are the sons of Reuel Esau’s son: duke Nachath, duke Zerach, duke Shammah, duke Mizzah; these are the dukes of Reuel in the land of Edom; these are the sons of Bahsemath, Esau’s wife.
17 Filhos de Rauel, filho de Esaú: o chefe Naat, o chefe Zara, o chefe Sama e o chefe Meza. Tais são os chefes saídos de Rauel, na terra de Edom; estes são os filhos de Basemat, mulher de Esaú.
18 And these are the sons of Aholibamah, Esau’s wife: duke Yeush, duke Ya’lam, duke Korach; these are the dukes of Aholibamah the daughter of Anah, Esau’s wife.
18 Filhos de Oolibama, mulher de Esaú: o chefe Jeus, o chefe Ielon e o chefe Coré. Estes são os chefes saídos de Oolibama, filha de Ana e mulher de Esaú.
19 These are the sons of Esau, and these are their dukes; this is Edom.
19 Tais são os filhos de Esaú, e estes são os seus chefes; isto é, Edom.
20 These are the sons of Seir the Chorite, who inhabited the land: Lotan, and Shobal, and Zibeon, and Anah,
20 Eis os filhos de Seir, o horreu, que habitava naquela terra: Lotã, Sobal, Sebeon, Ana,
21 And Dishon, and Etzer, and Dishan; these are the dukes of the Chorites, the children of Seir in the land of Edom.
21 Dison, Eser e Disã. Tais são os chefes dos horreus, filhos de Seir, na terra de Edom.
22 And the children of Lotan were Chori and Heman; and Lotan’s sister was Timna.
22 Os filhos de Lotã foram Hori e Hemã; a irmã de Lotã era Tama.
23 And these were the children of Shobal: Alvan, and Manachath, and Ebal, Shepho, and Onam.
23 Eis os filhos de Sobal: Alvã, Manaat, Ebal, Sefo e Onão.
24 And these are the children of Zibeon: both Ajah, and Anah; this was that Anah that found the mules in the wilderness, as he fed the asses of Zibeon his father.
24 Eis os filhos de Sebeon: Aja e Ana. Foi este Ana que encontrou no deserto as fontes de águas quentes, quando pastoreava os jumentos de Sebeon, seu pai.
25 And these are the children of Anah: Dishon, and Aholibamah the daughter of Anah.
25 Eis os filhos de Ana: Dison e Oolibama, filha de Ana.
26 And these are the children of Dishan: Chemdan, and Eshban, and Yithran, and Cheran.
26 Eis os filhos de Dison: Handã, Esebã, Jetram e Caran.
27 These are the children of Etzer: Bilhan, Zaavan, and Akan.
27 Eis os filhos de Eser: Balã, Zavã e Acã.
28 These are the children of Dishan: Uz, and Aran.
28 Eis os filhos de Disã: Hus e Arão.
29 These are the dukes of the Chorites: duke Lotan, duke Shobal, duke Zibeon, duke Anah;
29 Eis os chefes dos horreus: o chefe Lotã, o chefe Sobal, o chefe Sebeon, o chefe Ana,
30 Duke Dishon, duke Etzer, duke Dishan; these are the dukes of the Chorites, after their dukes in the land of Seir.
30 o chefe Dison, o chefe Eser, o chefe Disã. Estes são os chefes dos horreus, que governaram na terra de Seir.
31 And these are the kings that reigned in the land of Edom, before there reigned any king over the children of Israel.
31 Estes são os reis que reinaram na terra de Edom, antes que os filhos de Israel tivessem rei:
32 And there reigned in Edom Bela the son of Beor: and the name of his city was Dinhabah.
32 Bela, filho de Beor, reinou em Edom; sua cidade chamava-se Denaba.
33 And Bela died, and there reigned in his stead Yobab the son of Zerach of Bozrah.
33 Morrendo Bela, Jobab, filho de Zara, de Bosra, reinou em seu lugar.
34 And Yobab died, and there reigned in his stead Chusham of the land of Teman.
34 Morto Jobab, Husão, da terra dos temanitas, reinou em seu lugar.
35 And Chusham died, and there reigned in his stead Hadad the son of Bedad, who smote Midian in the field of Moab; and the name of his city was Avith.
35 Morto Husão, Adad, filho de Badad, reinou em seu lugar; ele derrotou Madiã, nas terras de Moab; sua cidade chamava-se Avit.
36 And Hadad died, and there reigned in his stead Samlah of Masrekah.
36 Morto Adad, Semla, de Masreca, reinou em seu lugar.
37 And Samlah died, and there reigned in his stead Shaul of Rechoboth by the river.
37 Morto Semla, reinou em seu lugar, Saul, de Roobot, que está perto do rio.
38 And Shaul died, and there reigned in his stead Baal–chanan the son of Achbor.
38 À morte de Saul, Balanã, filho de Acor, reinou em seu lugar.
39 And Baal–chanan the son of Achbor died, and there reigned in his stead Hadar, and the name of his city was Pau; and his wife’s name was Mehetabel, the daughter of Matred, the daughter of Me–zahab.
39 À morte de Balanã, filho de Acor, Hadar reinou em seu lugar; sua cidade chamava-se Faú; sua mulher chamava-se Meetabel, filha de Matred, filha de Mezaab.
40 And these are the names of the dukes of Esau, according to their families, after their places, by their names: duke Timna, duke Alvah, duke Yetheth,
40 Eis os nomes dos chefes saídos de Esaú, segundo suas tribos, seus territórios e seus nomes: o chefe Tama, o chefe Alva, o chefe Jetet,
41 Duke Aholibamah, duke Elah, duke Pinon.
41 o chefe Oolibama, o chefe Ela, o chefe Finon,
42 Duke Kenaz, duke Teman, duke Mibzar,
42 o chefe Cenez, o chefe Temã, o chefe Mabsar,
43 Duke Magdiel, duke Iram; these are the dukes of Edom, according to their habitations in the land of their possession: this is Esau the father of the Edom.
43 o chefe Magdiel, o chefe Hirão. Estes são os chefes de Edom. segundo suas residências na terra que ocupavam. Eis aí Esaú, pai de Edom.
