1 Now these are the generations of Esau, who is Edom.
1 Estas são as gerações de Esaú {este é Edom}:
2 Esau took his wives of the daughters of Canaan; Adah the daughter of Elon the Hittite, and Aholibamah the daughter of Anah the daughter of Zibeon the Hivite;
2 Esaú tomou dentre as filhas de Canaã suas mulheres: Ada, filha de Elom o heteu, e Aolíbama, filha de Ana, filha de Zibeão o heveu,
3 And Bahsemath Ishmael’s daughter, the sister of Nebayoth.
3 e Basemate, filha de Ismael, irmã de Nebaiote.
4 And Adah bore to Esau Eliphaz; and Bahsemath bore Reuel;
4 Ada teve de Esaú a Elifaz, e Basemate teve a Reuel;
5 And Aholibamah bore Yeush, and Ya’lam, and Korach: these are the sons of Esau, that were born unto him in the land Canaan.
5 e Aolíbama teve a Jeús, Jalão e Corá; estes são os filhos de Esaú, que lhe nasceram na terra de Canaã.
6 And Esau took his wives, and his sons, and his daughters, and all the persons of his house, and his cattle, and all his beasts, and all his substance, which he had gotten in the land of Canaan; and went into another country from the face of his brother Jacob.
6 Depois Esaú tomou suas mulheres, seus filhos, suas filhas e todas as almas de sua casa, seu gado, todos os seus animais e todos os seus bens, que havia adquirido na terra de Canaã, e foi-se para outra terra, apartando-se de seu irmão Jacó.
7 For their riches were more than that they might dwell together; and the land of their sojourning could not bear them, because of their cattle.
7 Porque os seus bens eram abundantes demais para habitarem juntos; e a terra de suas peregrinações não os podia sustentar por causa do seu gado.
8 Thus dwelt Esau in mount Seir: Esau is Edom.
8 Portanto Esaú habitou no monte de Seir; Esaú é Edom.
9 And these are the generations of Esau the father of the Edom in mount Seir.
9 Estas, pois, são as gerações de Esaú, pai dos edomeus, no monte de Seir:
10 These are the names of Esau’s sons: Eliphaz the son of Adah the wife of Esau, Reuel the son of Bahsemath the wife of Esau.
10 Estes são os nomes dos filhos de Esaú: Elifaz, filho de Ada, mulher de Esaú; Reuel, filho de Basemate, mulher de Esaú.
11 And the sons of Eliphaz were Teman, Omar, Zepho, and Ga’tam, and Kenaz.
11 E os filhos de Elifaz foram: Temã, Omar, Zefô, Gatã e Quenaz.
12 And Timna was concubine to Eliphaz Esau’s son: and she bore to Eliphaz Amalek; these were the sons of Adah, Esau’s wife.
12 Timna era concubina de Elifaz, filho de Esaú, e teve de Elifaz a Amaleque. São esses os filhos de Ada, mulher de Esaú.
13 And these are the sons of Reuel: Nachath, and Zerach, Shammah, and Mizzah; these were the sons of Bahsemath, Esau’s wife.
13 Foram estes os filhos de Reuel: Naate e Zerá, Sama e Mizá. Foram esses os filhos de Basemate, mulher de Esaú.
14 And these were the sons of Aholibamah, the daughter of Anah the daughter of Zibeon, Esau’s wife: and she bore to Esau Yeush, and Ya’lam, and Korach.
14 Estes foram os filhos de Aolíbama, filha de Ana, filha de Zibeão, mulher de Esaú: ela teve de Esaú Jeús, Jalão e Corá.
15 These are the dukes of the sons of Esau; the sons of Eliphaz the first–born of Esau: duke Teman, duke Omar, duke Zepho, duke Kenaz,
15 São estes os chefes dos filhos de Esaú: dos filhos de Elifaz, o primogênito de Esaú, os chefes Temã, Omar, Zefô, Quenaz,
16 Duke Korach, duke Ga’tam, duke Amalek; these are the dukes of Eliphaz in the land of Edom; these are the sons of Adah.
16 Corá, Gatã e Amaleque. São esses os chefes que nasceram a Elifaz na terra de Edom; esses são os filhos de Ada.
17 And these are the sons of Reuel Esau’s son: duke Nachath, duke Zerach, duke Shammah, duke Mizzah; these are the dukes of Reuel in the land of Edom; these are the sons of Bahsemath, Esau’s wife.
17 Estes são os filhos de Reuel, filho de Esaú: os chefes Naate, Zerá, Sama e Mizá; esses são os chefes que nasceram a Reuel na terra de Edom; esses são os filhos de Basemate, mulher de Esaú.
18 And these are the sons of Aholibamah, Esau’s wife: duke Yeush, duke Ya’lam, duke Korach; these are the dukes of Aholibamah the daughter of Anah, Esau’s wife.
18 Estes são os filhos de Aolíbama, mulher de Esaú: os chefes Jeús, Jalão e Corá; esses são os chefes que nasceram a líbama, filha de Ana, mulher de Esaú.
19 These are the sons of Esau, and these are their dukes; this is Edom.
19 Esses são os filhos de Esaú, e esses seus príncipes: ele é Edom.
20 These are the sons of Seir the Chorite, who inhabited the land: Lotan, and Shobal, and Zibeon, and Anah,
20 São estes os filhos de Seir, o horeu, moradores da terra: Lotã, Sobal, Zibeão, Anás,
21 And Dishon, and Etzer, and Dishan; these are the dukes of the Chorites, the children of Seir in the land of Edom.
21 Disom, Eser e Disã; esses são os chefes dos horeus, filhos de Seir, na terra de Edom.
22 And the children of Lotan were Chori and Heman; and Lotan’s sister was Timna.
22 Os filhos de Lotã foram: Hori e Hemã; e a irmã de Lotã era Timna.
23 And these were the children of Shobal: Alvan, and Manachath, and Ebal, Shepho, and Onam.
23 Estes são os filhos de Sobal: Alvã, Manaate, Ebal, Sefô e Onão.
24 And these are the children of Zibeon: both Ajah, and Anah; this was that Anah that found the mules in the wilderness, as he fed the asses of Zibeon his father.
24 Estes são os filhos de Zibeão: Aías e Anás; este é o Anás que achou as fontes termais no deserto, quando apascentava os jumentos de Zibeão, seu pai.
25 And these are the children of Anah: Dishon, and Aholibamah the daughter of Anah.
25 São estes os filhos de Ana: Disom e Aolíbama, filha de Ana.
26 And these are the children of Dishan: Chemdan, and Eshban, and Yithran, and Cheran.
26 São estes os filhos de Disom: Hendã, Esbã, Itrã e Querã.
27 These are the children of Etzer: Bilhan, Zaavan, and Akan.
27 Estes são os filhos de Eser: Bilã, Zaavã e Acã.
28 These are the children of Dishan: Uz, and Aran.
28 Estes são os filhos de Disã: Uz e Arã.
29 These are the dukes of the Chorites: duke Lotan, duke Shobal, duke Zibeon, duke Anah;
29 Estes são os chefes dos horeus: Lotã, Sobal, Zibeão, Anás,
30 Duke Dishon, duke Etzer, duke Dishan; these are the dukes of the Chorites, after their dukes in the land of Seir.
30 Disom, Eser e Disã; esses são os chefes dos horeus que governaram na terra de Seir.
31 And these are the kings that reigned in the land of Edom, before there reigned any king over the children of Israel.
31 São estes os reis que reinaram na terra de Edom, antes que reinasse rei algum sobre os filhos de Israel.
32 And there reigned in Edom Bela the son of Beor: and the name of his city was Dinhabah.
32 Reinou, pois, em Edom Belá, filho de Beor; e o nome da sua cidade era Dinabá.
33 And Bela died, and there reigned in his stead Yobab the son of Zerach of Bozrah.
33 Morreu Belá; e Jobabe, filho de Zerá de Bozra, reinou em seu lugar.
34 And Yobab died, and there reigned in his stead Chusham of the land of Teman.
34 Morreu Jobabe; e Husão, da terra dos temanitas, reinou em seu lugar.
35 And Chusham died, and there reigned in his stead Hadad the son of Bedad, who smote Midian in the field of Moab; and the name of his city was Avith.
35 Morreu Husão; e em seu lugar reinou Hadade, filho de Bedade, que feriu a Midiã no campo de Moabe; e o nome da sua cidade era Avite.
36 And Hadad died, and there reigned in his stead Samlah of Masrekah.
36 Morreu Hadade; e Sâmela de Masreca reinou em seu lugar.
37 And Samlah died, and there reigned in his stead Shaul of Rechoboth by the river.
37 Morreu Sâmela; e Saul de Reobote junto ao rio reinou em seu lugar.
38 And Shaul died, and there reigned in his stead Baal–chanan the son of Achbor.
38 Morreu Saul; e Baal-Hanã, filho de Acbor, reinou em seu lugar.
39 And Baal–chanan the son of Achbor died, and there reigned in his stead Hadar, and the name of his city was Pau; and his wife’s name was Mehetabel, the daughter of Matred, the daughter of Me–zahab.
39 Morreu Baal-Hanã, filho de Acbor; e Hadar reinou em seu lugar; e o nome da sua cidade era Paú; e o nome de sua mulher era Meetabel, filha de Matrede, filha de Me-Zaabe.
40 And these are the names of the dukes of Esau, according to their families, after their places, by their names: duke Timna, duke Alvah, duke Yetheth,
40 Estes são os nomes dos chefes dos filhos de Esaú, segundo as suas famílias, segundo os seus lugares, pelos seus nomes: os chefes Timna, Alva, Jetete,
41 Duke Aholibamah, duke Elah, duke Pinon.
41 Aolíbama, Elá, Pinom,
42 Duke Kenaz, duke Teman, duke Mibzar,
42 Quenaz, Temã, Mibzar,
43 Duke Magdiel, duke Iram; these are the dukes of Edom, according to their habitations in the land of their possession: this is Esau the father of the Edom.
43 Magdiel e Irão; esses são os chefes de Edom, segundo as suas habitações, na terra ,da sua possessão. Este é Esaú, pai dos edomeus.
