1 Concerning the divisions of the gatekeepers who were of the Korchites: Meshelemyahu the son of Kore, of the sons of Assaph.
1 Quanto aos turnos dos porteiros: dos coraítas, Meselemias, filho de Coré, dos filhos de Asafe.
2 And Meshelemyahu had sons: Zecharyahu the first–born, Jedi’ael the second, Zebaiyahu the third, Jathniel the fourth,
2 Os filhos de Meselemias foram: Zacarias, o primogênito, Jediael, o segundo, Zebadias, o terceiro, Jatniel, o quarto,
3 Elam the fifth, Jehochanan the sixth, Elyeho’enal the seventh,
3 Elão, o quinto, Joanã, o sexto, Elioenai, o sétimo.
4 And ‘Obed–edom had sons: Shema’yah the first–born, Jehosabad the second, Joach the third, and Sachar the fourth, and Nethanel the fifth,
4 Os filhos de Obede-Edom foram: Semaías, o primogênito, Jeozabade, o segundo, Joá, o terceiro, Sacar, o quarto, Natanael, o quinto,
5 ‘Ammiel the sixth, Issachar the seventh, Pe’ulthai the eighth; for God had blessed him.
5 Amiel, o sexto, Issacar, o sétimo, Peuletai, o oitavo. Porque Deus tinha abençoado Obede-Edom.
6 Also unto Shema’yah his son there were born sons, that were rulers for the house of their father; for they were mighty men of valor.
6 Também a seu filho Semaías nasceram filhos, que dominaram sobre a casa de seu pai; porque foram homens valentes.
7 The sons of Shema’yah were ‘Othni, and Rephael, and ‘Obed, and Elsahad, his brothers were valiant men, Elihu, and Semachyahu.
7 Os filhos de Semaías foram: Otni, Rafael, Obede e Elzabade, cujos irmãos Eliú e Semaquias eram homens valentes.
8 All these were of the sons of ‘Obed–edom: they and their sons and their brethren were valiant men in strength for the service, being sixty and two descendants of ‘Obed–edom.
8 Todos estes foram dos filhos de Obede-Edom; eles, seus filhos e seus irmãos, homens capazes e robustos para o serviço; ao todo, sessenta e dois.
9 And Meshelemyahu had sons and brethren, valiant men, eighteen.
9 Os filhos e os irmãos de Meselemias, homens valentes, foram dezoito.
10 Also Chossah, of the children of Merari, had sons: Shimri the chief, for though he was not the first–born, yet his father made him the chief;
10 De Hosa, dos filhos de Merari, foram filhos: Sinri, a quem o pai constituiu chefe, ainda que não era o primogênito,
11 Chilkiyahu the second, Tehalyahu the third, Zecharyahu the fourth; all the sons and brethren of Chossah were thirteen.
11 Hilquias, o segundo, Tebalias, o terceiro, Zacarias, o quarto; todos os filhos e irmãos de Hosa foram treze.
12 These divisions of the gatekeepers, after the chief men, had the watch along with their brethren, to minister in the house of the Lord.
12 A estes turnos dos porteiros, isto é, a seus chefes, foi entregue a guarda, para servirem, como seus irmãos, na Casa do Senhor .
13 And they cast lots, the small as well as the great, according to their family divisions, for each and every gate.
13 Para cada portão fizeram um sorteio para designar os deveres tanto dos pequenos como dos grandes, segundo as suas famílias.
14 And the lot at the east fell for Shelemyahu. And for Zecharyahu his son, an intelligent counsellor, they cast lots, and his lot came out at the north.
14 A guarda do lado do leste caiu por sorteio a Selemias; depois, lançaram sorte sobre seu filho Zacarias, conselheiro prudente, e lhe saiu a guarda do lado do norte;
15 For ‘Obed–edom at the south; and to his sons was assigned the house of Assuppim.
15 a Obede-Edom, a guarda do lado do sul; e a seus filhos, a guarda da casa de depósitos;
16 For Shuppim and for Chossah at the west, by the gate Shallecheth, on the ascending causeway, watch alongside of watch.
16 a Supim e Hosa, a guarda do oeste, junto ao portão de Salequete, na estrada que sobe. Uma guarda ficava ao lado de outra guarda.
17 At the east were six Levites, at the north four for every day, at the south four for every day, and for the house of Assuppim always two.
17 A leste, estavam de guarda seis levitas; ao norte, quatro por dia; ao sul, quatro por dia, e, para a casa de depósitos, dois num lugar e dois noutro.
18 At the Parbar on the west, four at the causeway, and two at the Parbar.
18 No átrio a oeste, quatro junto ao caminho, dois junto ao átrio.
19 These are the divisions of the gatekeepers of the sons of the Korchites, and of the sons of Merari.
19 São estes os turnos dos porteiros dos filhos dos coraítas e dos filhos de Merari.
20 And of the Levites, Achiyah was over the treasuries of the house of God, and over the treasuries of the holy things.
20 Outros levitas, seus irmãos, tinham o encargo dos tesouros da Casa de Deus e dos tesouros das coisas consagradas:
21 As concerning the sons of La’dan, the sons of the Gershunites of La’dan, the chiefs of the families of La’dan the Gershunite, were the Jechielites.
21 os filhos de Ladã, descendentes dos gersonitas pertencentes a Ladã e chefes das famílias deste, da família de Gérson: Jeieli;
22 The sons of Jechieli, Zetham, and Joel his brother, were over the treasuries of the house of the Lord.
22 os filhos de Jeieli: Zetã e Joel, seu irmão; estes estavam encarregados dos tesouros da Casa do Senhor .
23 Of the ‘Amramites, of the Yizharites, of the Hebronites, and of the ‘Uzzielites,
23 Dos anramitas, dos isaritas, dos hebronitas, dos uzielitas,
24 Was even Shebuel the son of Gershom, the son of Moses, superintendent of the treasuries.
24 Sebuel, filho de Gérson, filho de Moisés, era oficial encarregado dos tesouros.
25 And his brethren by Eli’ezer: Rechabyahu his son, and Jesha’yahu his son, and Joram his son, and Zichri his son, and Shelomoth his son.
25 Seus irmãos: de Eliézer, foi filho Reabias, de quem foi filho Jesaías, de quem foi filho Jorão, de quem foi filho Zicri, de quem foi filho Selomite.
26 This Shelomoth and his brethren were over all the treasuries of the holy things, which king David had sanctified, together with the chiefs of the family divisions, the captains over the thousands and the hundreds, and the captains of the army.
26 Este Selomite e os seus irmãos tinham a seu encargo todos os tesouros das coisas consagradas que o rei Davi e os chefes das famílias, capitães de milhares e de centenas e capitães do exército tinham dedicado.
27 Out of the wars, and out of the booty did they sanctify to maintain the house of the Lord.
27 Dos despojos das guerras as dedicaram para a conservação da Casa do Senhor .
28 And all that Samuel the seer, and Saul the son of Kish, and Abner the son of Ner, and Joab the son of Zeruyah, had sanctified, whatsoever any one had sanctified, was under the supervision of Shelomoth and of his brethren.
28 Tinham também a seu encargo tudo o que havia sido dedicado por Samuel, o vidente, por Saul, filho de Quis, por Abner, filho de Ner, e por Joabe, filho de Zeruia. Tudo o que qualquer pessoa havia dedicado estava sob os cuidados de Selomite e seus irmãos.
29 Of the Yizharites were Kenanyahu and his sons for the outward business over Israel, for officers and judges.
29 Dos isaritas, Quenanias e seus filhos foram postos sobre Israel, para oficiais e juízes dos negócios externos.
30 Of the Hebronites were Chashabyahu and his brethren, valiant men, a thousand and seven hundred in number, appointed over the affairs of Israel on this side of the Jordan to the west, for all the business of the Lord, and for the service of the king.
30 Dos hebronitas, foram Hasabias e seus irmãos, homens valentes, mil e setecentos, que superintendiam Israel, além do Jordão para o oeste, em todo serviço do Senhor e interesses do rei;
31 Of the Hebronites was Jeriyah the chief, for the Hebronites, according to their generations by families. In the fortieth year of the reign of David were they inquired into, and there were found among them mighty men of valor at Ja’zer of Gil’ad.
31 dos hebronitas, Jerias era o chefe. Quanto aos hebronitas, suas genealogias e famílias, se fizeram investigações no quadragésimo ano do reinado de Davi e se acharam entre eles homens valentes em Jazer de Gileade.
32 And his brethren, valiant men, were two thousand and seven hundred chiefs of families: and king David appointed them over the Reubenites, the Gadites, and the half tribe of Menasseh, for every matter pertaining to God, and the affairs of the king.
32 Seus irmãos, homens valentes, dois mil e setecentos, chefes das famílias; e o rei Davi os constituiu sobre os rubenitas, os gaditas e a meia tribo dos manassitas, para todos os negócios de Deus e para todos os negócios do rei.
