5 yourselves also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
6 Me̤těhérò lisǎsè̌kǔ hé,
6 Because it is contained in the scripture: Behold, I lay in Zion a corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believes on him shall not be put to shame.
7 Rò lò̤́ yětôměnuô, angṳdupri̤du nyacò́ dố thǐ prè̤zṳ̂́etè̤ yětahe agně. Manárò kayǎ dố a zṳ̂́ekuô̌ lǔ to tahe agněnuô:
7 To you therefore who believe {is} the preciousness; but to the disobedient, the stone which the builders cast away as worthless, this is become head of {the} corner,
8 “Lò̤́yě tôměnuô a ki má̤dû lò̤́ dố ǔ lé̤sítakluô̌ è agně, rò a ki me̤lakhû́ ǔ agně.”
8 and a stone of stumbling and rock of offence; {who} stumble at the word, being disobedient to which also they have been appointed.
9 Manárò thǐ ma myěcô tôcô dố Cò́marya nwóhtya è, bwídu dố athyáná khwí tahe, myěcô dố a sǎsè̌, htuô̌to Cò́marya akayǎ ní̤dû cò́ tahe hò́. Cò́marya nwóhtya thǐ thyáphú thǐ ki hésoluô̌ Cò́marya a tè̤me̤ryá khódû tahe. Cò́marya è́htekyǎ thǐ dố tè̤khítè̤lò̤ alè̤̌ rò a thǔnuô̌ thǐ dố a tè̤lǐtè̤takhè̌ mo̤ akǔ hò́.
9 But *ye* {are} a chosen race, a kingly priesthood, a holy nation, a people for a possession, that ye might set forth the excellencies of him who has called you out of darkness to his wonderful light;
10 Tôphuốkhè̌nuô, thǐ ma Cò́marya akayǎ má̤to tadû́rò khǒnyá̤yě thǐ htwǒhò́ Cò́marya akayǎ hò́. Tôphuốkhè̌nuô, thǐ thè́gně Cò́marya a tè̤thè́zò̤klabè to tadû́rò khǒnyá̤yě thǐ ní̤bèhò́ a tè̤thè́zò̤klabè hò́.
10 who once {were} not a people, but now God's people; who were not enjoying mercy, but now have found mercy.
11 Vǎ khǒbò́thyómo̤ thǐ꤮, dố hekhuyěnuô thǐ ma athyáná kayǎ cuốhtwǒ htyěruôké̤klò̌phú ná sǐpré̤ tahe prè́. Vǎ kwǐthè́zò̤ thǐ ná thǐ ki cuố taphǎkyǎ lahyǎ ná thǐ né̤klò̤́ a tè̤thè́zṳ̂́thè́lò̌ mǔmyá̤ dố asá-apǎ̤ tamǒmǒ ní̤dyé thǐ thè́plò yěnuôtahe ní꤮.
11 Beloved, I exhort {you}, as strangers and sojourners, to abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;
12 Bí thǐ ohtwǒprè̤ dố myěcôruôphú dố a zṳ̂́e kuô̌ǔ Cò́marya to yětahe aklè̌, rò a dya tè̤thû́ thǐ ná thǐ ma kayǎ dố a me̤ tè̤mǔmyá̤ricyá̤ akhè̌nuô, ohtwǒprè̤ thǎryǎ ryá lahyǎ thǐné̤ ní꤮. Èthǐ ki myáhtye thǐ tè̤me̤ryá tahe pǎ rò shyé꤮ Cò́marya hyǎlya̤ amò̤́nyě pǎ tônyěnuô, a ki bedubezṳ̂́ lǔ pǎ.
12 having your conversation honest among the Gentiles, that {as to that} in which they speak against you as evildoers, they may through {your} good works, {themselves} witnessing {them}, glorify God in {the} day of visitation.
13 Myá Byacè amèthè rò cṳ̌e ní̤dǎ lahyǎ lò̌꤮ hekhuphú dố a o ná a taryěshyosò̌ nuôtahe angó̤ ní꤮. Htuô̌to khwídu dố a o ná a taryěshyosò̌ lốǔ tahenuô bèbè cṳ̌e kuô̌ lahyǎ angó̤ní꤮.

14 Htuô̌rò kayǎ dố khwídu nwóhtya èthǐ dố a ki htwǒduhtwǒkhu tahenuô cṳ̌e lahyǎ angó̤ ní꤮. Khwídu nò̌htyahtwǒ nyǎ èthǐ dố a ki cirya kayǎ dố a me̤ tè̤mǔmyá̤ricyá̤ nuôtahe rò a ki htuthè́ní̤ kayǎ dố a me̤ tè̤ryá nuôtahe nyǎnuô̌.
14 or to rulers as sent by him, for vengeance on evildoers, and praise to them that do well.
15 Cò́marya thè́zṳ̂́ nò̌me̤ thǐ tè̤ryá, me̤těhérò a thè́zṳ̂́ dố thǐ ki me̤ othuôokrěkyǎ kayǎ dố a hébèbò̌ hébèbye rò tane̤ ka̤khyě hyǎnyě pé̤ kuô̌ǔ to nuôtahe.
15 Because so is the will of God, that by well-doing ye put to silence the ignorance of senseless men;
16 Ohtwǒprè̤ lahyǎ phú kayǎ ní̤ tè̤palǎ nuôtahe ní꤮. Manárò nò̌e tǎ thǐ tè̤palǎ yěnuô ná a ki me̤uốme̤bíkyǎ tǎ thǐ tè̤thû́nuô tǎmé̤. Má̤tôkhónuô ohtwǒprè̤ thyá lahyǎ ná Byacè acṳ̂́ tahenuô.
16 as free, and not as having liberty as a cloak of malice, but as God's bondmen.
17 Bezṳ̂́benyá̤ lahyǎ ǔ pwǒ̤꤮ tôprè̤ ní꤮. Mo̤ní̤ lahyǎ thǐ puố̤vyá̤ Krístuphú tahe ní꤮. Thè́isě lahyǎ Cò́marya rò bezṳ̂́nyá̤ lǔ ní꤮. Dyaduzṳ̂́nyá̤ lahyǎ khwídu ní꤮.
17 Shew honour to all, love the brotherhood, fear God, honour the king.
18 Thǐ dố a htwǒ cṳ̂́ tahenuô, thǐ bè cṳ̌e ní̤dǎ thǐbyacè angó̤ rò dyéluô̌ lốbǎ èthǐ ná thǐ tè̤bezṳ̂́benyá̤ lǔ nuô ní꤮. Me̤prè́tû́ Byacè dố a thè́zò̤ní̤ thǐ rò amyáakhwèryání̤ thǐ nuôtahe agněnuô tǎmé̤, Byacè dố ahǎaricyá̤ tahenuô bèbè, thǐ tǒbè bezṳ̂́nyá̤ lǔlǔ, rò thǐ tǒ cṳ̌e ní̤dǎ lǔngó̤ngó̤.
18 Servants, {be} subject with all fear to your masters, not only to the good and gentle, but also to the ill-tempered.
19 Thǐ ki myá Cò́marya amèthè rò tè̤cyě̤ dố thǐ tǒkò khyá má̤to tadû́rò thǐ ki khyáthè́plòhtǔbè́ hénuô Cò́marya ki myáduní̤ thǐ pǎ.
19 For this {is} acceptable, if one, for conscience sake towards God, endure griefs, suffering unjustly.
20 Dố thǐ me̤thû́tè̤ akhu-akhyěrò ǔ kimṳ̂̌kipò̤ thǐ hénuô, abwítaryě obítě? Manárò dố thǐ me̤tǒtè̤ akhu-akhyěrò thǐ ki khyáthè́plòhtǔbè́ tè̤cyě̤tè̤cṳ̂ hénuô, Cò́marya ki myádu ní̤dyé thǐ pǎ.
20 For what glory {is it}, if sinning and being buffeted ye shall bear {it}? but if, doing good and suffering, ye shall bear {it}, this is acceptable with God.
21 Thyáphú thǐ bè khyáthè́plòhtǔbè́ tè̤cyě̤tè̤cṳ̂ yě agněnuôrò, Cò́marya è́hte hò́ thǐ hò́, me̤těhérò Krístu ané̤byacè ní̤dû khyá htuô̌hò́ tè̤cyě̤tè̤cṳ̂ dố thǐgně hò́ rò thyáphú thǐ ki krwǒ zí̤kuô̌ akhǎduôkhè̌ agněnuô, a bekyǎ pé̤ hò́ thǐ lé̤myábû̌ hò́.
21 For to this have ye been called; for Christ also has suffered for you, leaving you a model that ye should follow in his steps:
22 “A me̤ tè̤thû́ tôcô꤮ to. Ǔ ní̤huô̌nò́ ná a hébè lahǒ tôprè̤꤮ to.”
22 who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth;
23 Bí ǔ pacyé̤ishyé è akhè̌nuô, a pacyé̤ishyé ka̤khyěsû ǔ to. Bí ǔ me̤cyě̤me̤cṳ̂ è akhè̌nuô, a me̤thè́isě ka̤khyěsû ǔ to. Má̤tôkhónuô a tè̤ritè̤kyǎ tahenuô, a dyétǎ̤kyǎ ná Cò́marya dố a zṳ̂́ení̤ rò a ciryatè̤ cò́cò́te̤te̤ yětôprè̤ a takhukǔ prè́.
23 who, {when} reviled, reviled not again; {when} suffering, threatened not; but gave {himself} over into the hands of him who judges righteously;
24 Thyáphú pè̤ ki ícû̌pǎ tǎ ná tè̤thû́tè̤ora tahe tǎmé̤, htuô̌to thyáphú pè̤ ki ohtwǒprè̤bè́ kuô̌ dố tè̤cò́tè̤te̤ pǎ agněnuôrò, bí ǔ mṳ̂̌thyěhtya Krístu dố krusulo̤ akhè̌nuô, a phyéhtyakyǎhò́ pè̤ tè̤thû́tè̤ora yětahe dố ané̤lo̤ hò́. Dố a khyábè tè̤cyě̤tè̤cṳ̂ yětahe akhu-akhyě a zasǐmé̤kyǎ lò̌hò́ thǐ hò́.
24 who himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, in order that, being dead to sins, we may live to righteousness: by whose stripes ye have been healed.
25 Thǐ yěnuô, athyáná thímí dố a cuốthû́klyá tahe. Manárò khǒnyá̤yě thǐ ka̤khyětǒ khyěthyá hò́ dố prè̤kyě̤ thímí dố a myákhwèní̤ thǐ thè́htwǒprè̤ yětôprè̤ a o hò́.
25 For ye were going astray as sheep, but have now returned to the shepherd and overseer of your souls.
