5 yourselves also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
6 God Manö u kalɨ kƚiñ rɨköm hagla,
6 Because it is contained in the scripture: Behold, I lay in Zion a corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believes on him shall not be put to shame.

7 To you therefore who believe {is} the preciousness; but to the disobedient, the stone which the builders cast away as worthless, this is become head of {the} corner,

8 and a stone of stumbling and rock of offence; {who} stumble at the word, being disobedient to which also they have been appointed.

9 But *ye* {are} a chosen race, a kingly priesthood, a holy nation, a people for a possession, that ye might set forth the excellencies of him who has called you out of darkness to his wonderful light;
10 Nöd God nɨbi bɨ nɨpe mɨdagmɨdim, pen uri nɨbi bɨ nɨpe ke mɨdpim. Nöd God kalöp mög nɨŋöm udagmɨdöp, pen uri kalöp mög nɨŋöm udöp.
10 who once {were} not a people, but now God's people; who were not enjoying mercy, but now have found mercy.
11 Anɨb u, nɨbi bɨ nɨŋeb aij yad gau. Mɨnöŋ naböŋ iƚ i ram Mɨnöŋ kale kabö rö wasö, yɨharɨŋ apim mɨdpim. Anɨb u, nan si nan naij Mɨnöŋ naböŋ iƚ i hañ romaŋ gasɨ göp nan gau, mɨdmagö lɨmim gɨpe aragnɨm. Nan anɨb gau gasɨ nɨŋmim gɨpe arö, ana kale aip pen pen gö, ap lug pakmim rö löp.
11 Beloved, I exhort {you}, as strangers and sojourners, to abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;
12 Nɨbi bɨ God nɨbi bɨ nɨpe mɨdagpal gau aip mɨdpim u, gɨ aij yabɨƚ gɨ mɨdaimim. Anɨg gɨpe, ñɨn rɨmnap, kalöp, gɨ naij gɨpim, a göm, hag junaböl u pen kale gɨ aij gɨpim u nɨŋöm, hainö Jisas Krais aunab ñɨn u, gɨ aij gɨpim rö hag hiɨkeinaböl, God hib nɨpe u ap rannab.
12 having your conversation honest among the Gentiles, that {as to that} in which they speak against you as evildoers, they may through {your} good works, {themselves} witnessing {them}, glorify God in {the} day of visitation.

15 Because so is the will of God, that by well-doing ye put to silence the ignorance of senseless men;
16 Nɨbi bɨ rɨmnap, ke nɨŋbim rö gɨmim, a gɨpal. U aij pen gasɨ anɨbu nɨŋmim, nan si nan naij ap gagmim. God nɨbi bɨ wög gep nɨpe mɨdpim rö, nɨhön nɨhön gɨnɨg gɨnabim u, nɨpe hagöp hagöp rö nöp gɨnabun, a gɨmim, gɨmim.
16 as free, and not as having liberty as a cloak of malice, but as God's bondmen.
17 Nɨbi bɨ gep gau abe nɨbi bɨ yɨharɨŋ gau abe manö kale nɨŋmim. Añ mam Krais lau adö mɨdpal gau kalɨp mɨdmagö lɨmim. God nɨpe Bɨ kƚö unbö ke, a gɨmim, ana udmim nɨŋmim. Kiŋ kale bɨ kub a gɨmim manö nɨpe nɨŋmim.
17 Shew honour to all, love the brotherhood, fear God, honour the king.
18 Kale Krais nɨbi bɨ nɨpe mɨdmim, bɨ rɨmnap kalɨp nagɨ wög rö gɨpim u, bɨ kub kale gau ud aij gɨmim, hagnaböl rö nöp gɨmim. Kalöp gɨ aij göm agamɨj mɨd aij gɨpal bɨ gau nöp wasö, kƚö yabɨƚ jubal bɨ gau u rö nöp, ud aij gɨmim, hagnaböl rö nöp gɨmim.
18 Servants, {be} subject with all fear to your masters, not only to the good and gentle, but also to the ill-tempered.
19 Pen kalöp gɨ naij gaiöl, God nɨp gasɨ nɨŋbim rö, kalɨp gasɨ naij nɨŋageinabim u, God kalöp ud aij gɨnab.
19 For this {is} acceptable, if one, for conscience sake towards God, endure griefs, suffering unjustly.
20 Pen kale gɨ naij gɨpe, kalöp pakaiöl, kalɨp gasɨ naij nɨŋageinabim u hagagabin; anɨg gɨnabim u, God kalöp ud aij gagnab. Pen kale mɨd aij gɨpe, kalöp gɨ naij gaiöl, kalɨp gasɨ naij nɨŋageinabim u hagabin; anɨg gɨnabim u me, God kalöp ud aij gɨnab.
20 For what glory {is it}, if sinning and being buffeted ye shall bear {it}? but if, doing good and suffering, ye shall bear {it}, this is acceptable with God.
21 Kalöp marö ñɨlö agamɨj nöp mɨdaimim, a göm, God kalöp uda. Anɨb u, Krais hanɨp, a göm, ilön uda gasɨ u nöp nɨŋmim. Kalöp marö ñaiöl, gasɨ kub nɨŋagmim. Nɨpe göp rö gɨmim, gɨpe arnɨm.
21 For to this have ye been called; for Christ also has suffered for you, leaving you a model that ye should follow in his steps:
22 “Nɨpe nan si nan naij ap gaga;
22 who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth;
23 Krais nɨp hag jueila, nɨpe pen hag juaga. Nɨp gɨ naij geila, nɨpe ilön udöm kalɨp manö pen pen hagaga. Nap nɨpe manö kub kabö göl nöp hagöp u, yɨp abadnab, a göm, gasɨ u nöp nɨŋ mɨdeia.
23 who, {when} reviled, reviled not again; {when} suffering, threatened not; but gave {himself} over into the hands of him who judges righteously;
24 Krais nɨp mab ba laŋ al pak leila, nɨpe nan si nan naij hon magöŋhalö gɨnabun gau, hañ romaŋ nɨpe ke udöm uma. “Yad nan si nan naij kalɨp udem umnö, nan si nan naij gep gasɨ magö kale u umöm, kale kamɨŋ aramöm, gɨ aij göl gɨ mɨdaiöl,” a göm, nan si nan naij hon gau, hañ romaŋ nɨpe ke udöm uma. Krais nɨpe ilön kub uda u me, kalöp nan ga u kamɨŋ la.
24 who himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, in order that, being dead to sins, we may live to righteousness: by whose stripes ye have been healed.

25 For ye were going astray as sheep, but have now returned to the shepherd and overseer of your souls.
