Nasoruan siGot len nasoruan ta Uluveu (KLV) vs VC
1 Imaienan, samtigol nǝsaan ideh am, mitinoŋ dan nǝsaan p̃isi togol nasǝnahan. Samtelibliboŋ am; samtegǝgǝras; nǝlomit satevǝnoh natit gail sivan ideh; samtisor tisa husur avan ideh, samtisor mǝdas nahǝsan.
1 Deponde, pois, toda malícia, toda astúcia, fingimentos, invejas e toda espécie de maledicência.
2 Hum amas mai alikob artomaduh tabtab hǝn nasus, gamito mitimaslǝŋon masuṽ hǝn nasus nakitinan togǝm ben aGot, hǝn mǝtb̃emuni hǝn mǝtb̃etibau len nǝmauran kitin topat vi sutuai.
2 as newborn babes desire earnestly the pure mental milk of the word, that by it ye may grow up to salvation,
3 Husur, hum natosian siGot toke, “Mǝtusab̃ lǝboi navoian siNasub̃, ke nabus han ivoi.”
3 if indeed ye have tasted that the Lord {is} good.
5 — ausente —
5 yourselves also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
6 Husur len natosian siGot ike,
6 Because it is contained in the scripture: Behold, I lay in Zion a corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believes on him shall not be put to shame.
7 Imagenan, len gamit mǝttokad nadǝlomian, nǝvat enan ivoi sǝhor natit p̃isi, wake len alat sǝkad nadǝlomian, lomǝtahuni hum nasoruan siGot toke,
7 To you therefore who believe {is} the preciousness; but to the disobedient, the stone which the builders cast away as worthless, this is become head of {the} corner,
8 Natosian ikele am ke,
8 and a stone of stumbling and rock of offence; {who} stumble at the word, being disobedient to which also they have been appointed.
9 Be gamito mǝtovi vanuan aGot tolekis hǝn gamit sǝlani; mǝtovi hai tutumav siGot tovi kiŋ; mǝtovi luṽoh hǝn nǝvanuan gai toriŋ nahǝsan lan, naluṽoh san sǝb̃on. Mǝtumagenan hǝn mǝtb̃ikel ur nab̃oruan san tovoi mai natit p̃isi tovoi buni aGot togole, aGot tokis gamito dan nǝmargobut vi lan nam̃ial namǝnas san.
9 But *ye* {are} a chosen race, a kingly priesthood, a holy nation, a people for a possession, that ye might set forth the excellencies of him who has called you out of darkness to his wonderful light;
10 A m̃o mǝtsavi alat siGot, be gagai mǝtovi alat siGot. A m̃o aGot salolosa hǝn gamito, be gagai aGot ilolosa hǝn gamito.
10 who once {were} not a people, but now God's people; who were not enjoying mercy, but now have found mercy.
11 Gamit notolǝmas bun gamit p̃isi, navile a pan egai savi naut samit am. Mǝtosum̃an nametb̃os gail, mǝtosum̃an alat lototoh len naut savi salito. Imaienan noŋir gamito ke, bulatut dan nalǝŋonian gail hǝn nibemito lotob̃al mai nǝmauran kitin len nǝlomit gail.
11 Beloved, I exhort {you}, as strangers and sojourners, to abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;
12 Naṽide hǝn nǝmauran samito len nǝhon alat lotokad nadǝlomian len nagot gǝgǝras gail, timasvoi, hǝn ke naut kǝmas lotosor tas gamit sum̃an mǝttogol natit tosa gail, nǝboŋ lǝb̃eris navoian gǝb̃igole, dereh lisal suh nǝyalyalan siGot len nǝboŋ hǝn navisian san.
12 having your conversation honest among the Gentiles, that {as to that} in which they speak against you as evildoers, they may through {your} good works, {themselves} witnessing {them}, glorify God in {the} day of visitation.
13 Hǝn mǝtb̃ehusur Nasub̃, mǝteriŋ gamit len navǝlan alat lotoil a m̃o len navile a pan, naut kǝmas tovi akiŋ toil a m̃o,
13 — ausente —

14 or to rulers as sent by him, for vengeance on evildoers, and praise to them that do well.
15 Gol nǝsa tovoi, husur aGot elǝŋon ke navoian mǝtb̃igole tekǝkol hǝn nabuŋon alat lototǝtan, lotosor len namelmelan salit ŋai.
15 Because so is the will of God, that by well-doing ye put to silence the ignorance of senseless men;
16 Mǝtsavi slev am be mǝtumakuv tia. Nǝmakuvan mǝttokade, samtinau ke tigol mǝtolǝboi mǝtb̃igol nǝsaan ideh. Ao, mǝtukad nǝmakuvan hǝn mǝtb̃itoh hum naslev siGot. Nǝsaan sǝbaŋis gat gamit am, mǝtumakuv dani tia. Mititoh tin len nǝmakuvan mǝttokade. Samtinau ke nǝmakuvan tesusuan gamito hǝn ke mǝtolǝboi mǝtb̃igol nǝsaan tǝtas. Ao, mǝtukad nǝmakuvan hǝn mǝtb̃itoh hum naslev siGot.
16 as free, and not as having liberty as a cloak of malice, but as God's bondmen.
17 Mǝteputsan nǝvanuan gail p̃isi len nǝnauan samito. Mǝtelǝmas bun nǝbathudud nadǝlomian. Len nalotuan, mǝtemǝtahw len nǝyalyalan siGot. Putsan nakiŋ hǝn nǝkantri samito len nǝnauan samito.
17 Shew honour to all, love the brotherhood, fear God, honour the king.
18 Gamit mǝttovi slev gail, len nǝ-nau-mǝhat-hǝni-an, mitidam̃ hǝn na-il-a-m̃o-an simasta samit gail, mitigol nǝsa lotokele. Mitimagenan hǝn amasta gail lotovoi, lotomǝdau, ale mitimagenan hǝn galit am lotodaŋ taltal, lotosa.
18 Servants, {be} subject with all fear to your masters, not only to the good and gentle, but also to the ill-tempered.
19 Husur, len nǝlomit tolǝboi nalǝŋonian siGot, mǝtb̃idaŋ b̃ur napǝŋasan hǝn na-lǝŋon-isa-an sanor, dereh aGot tehǝhaṽur hǝn gamito.
19 For this {is} acceptable, if one, for conscience sake towards God, endure griefs, suffering unjustly.
20 Mǝtb̃idaŋ b̃ur nabilasian tonor hǝn nǝsaan mǝttogole, mǝtosǝhor nǝsa? As tisal suh gamito? Avan ideh a? Ao! Avil mǝtb̃idaŋ b̃ur na-lǝŋon-isa-an sil navoian mǝttogole, dereh aGot tehǝhaṽur hǝn gamito.
20 For what glory {is it}, if sinning and being buffeted ye shall bear {it}? but if, doing good and suffering, ye shall bear {it}, this is acceptable with God.
21 Husur aGot ekis gamit hǝn mǝtb̃ivoi, naut kǝmas na-lǝŋon-isa-an enan. Igol aKristo elǝŋon isa vǝsa m̃os gamito hǝn mǝtb̃igol tǝtoṽ hǝni, husur nǝmel rien.
21 For to this have ye been called; for Christ also has suffered for you, leaving you a model that ye should follow in his steps:
22 Gai sagol nǝsaan ideh, nabuŋon sakel nagǝgǝrasan ideh, gai sagǝras avan ideh.
22 who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth;
23 Nǝboŋ nǝvanuan gail lotosǝvari, gai sapesǝvar tǝlmam; nǝboŋ tolǝŋon tosa vǝsa, gai sasor husur nasisilan. Ao, eriŋ gai len navǝlan aGot topǝpehw tonor hǝn navoian dan nǝsaan.
23 who, {when} reviled, reviled not again; {when} suffering, threatened not; but gave {himself} over into the hands of him who judges righteously;
24 AKristo evus nǝsaan sadit gail len niben gabag len nǝhai balbal, hǝn datb̃imakuv dan nǝdaŋan hǝn nǝsaan sadito, hum dattomat, be hǝn datb̃imaur m̃os nanoran. Evi niben tomǝtartar togol mǝttomaur!
24 who himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, in order that, being dead to sins, we may live to righteousness: by whose stripes ye have been healed.
25 Husur a m̃o mǝtohum nasipsip gail lotoyar lab, lotosab, lotomasig a tut sua. Be gagai mǝtupair van hǝn atenan tokǝtkǝta tǝban nasipsip gail hǝn mǝtb̃ehusuri, gai tokǝtkǝta gol nǝlomito mai nǝmauran kitin topat lan.
25 For ye were going astray as sheep, but have now returned to the shepherd and overseer of your souls.
