1 Then sang Deborah with Barak, the son of Abinoam, on that day, saying,
1 Então cantaram Débora e Baraque, o filho de Abinoão, dizendo:
2 Praise ye the LORD for the avenging of Israel, when the people willingly offered themselves.
2 Louvai ao SENHOR pela vingança de Israel, quando o povo se ofereceu voluntariamente.
3 Hear, O ye kings. Give ear, O ye princes; I, [even] I, will sing unto the LORD; I will praise the LORD God of Israel.
3 Ouvi, ó reis; dai ouvido, ó príncipes; eu mesma cantarei ao SENHOR; cantarei louvor ao SENHOR Deus de Israel.
4 LORD, when thou didst go out of Seir, when thou didst march out of the field of Edom, the earth trembled, and the heavens dropped; the clouds also dropped water.
4 SENHOR, quando tu saíste de Seir, quando marchaste para fora do campo de Edom, a terra tremeu, e os céus gotejaram, as nuvens também gotejaram água.
5 The mountains melted from before the LORD, [even] that Sinai from before the LORD God of Israel.
5 Os montes derreteram diante do SENHOR, até mesmo o Sinai diante do SENHOR Deus de Israel.
6 In the days of Shamgar, the son of Anath, in the days of Jael, the highways ceased, and those that walked went [astray] through crooked paths.
6 Nos dias de Sangar, o filho de Anate, nos dias de Jael, as grandes rotas estavam desocupadas, e os viajantes caminhavam por caminhos secundários.
7 [The inhabitants of] the villages ceased; they had ceased in Israel until I Deborah arose, I arose a mother in Israel.
7 Os habitantes das aldeias cessaram, eles cessaram em Israel, até que eu, Débora, me levantei, até que eu levantei uma mãe em Israel.
8 When they chose new gods, the war [was] at the gates. Was there a shield or spear to be seen among forty thousand in Israel?
8 Eles escolheram novos deuses; então houve guerra nos portões; foi visto algum escudo ou lança entre quarenta mil em Israel?
9 My heart [is] toward the princes of Israel, those that offered themselves willingly among the people. Bless ye the LORD.
9 O meu coração está inclinado aos governantes de Israel, que se ofereceram voluntariamente no meio do povo. Bendizei ao SENHOR.
10 Speak, ye that ride on white asses, ye that preside in judgment, and walk by the way.
10 Falai, vós que cavalgam em jumentos brancos, vós que vos assentais em juízo, e andais pelo caminho.
11 Because of the noise of archers, [taken from] among those that draw water, there they shall retell the righteousnesses of the LORD, [even] the righteousnesses of his villages in Israel. Now shall the people of the LORD go down to the gates.
11 Aqueles que são libertos do ruído dos arqueiros nos lugares de coleta de água, ali eles recitarão os atos de justiça do SENHOR, os atos de justiça para com os habitantes das suas aldeias em Israel; então, o povo do SENHOR descerá até os portões.
12 Rise up, rise up, Deborah; rise up, rise up, sing a song. Stand up, Barak and lead thy captivity captive, thou son of Abinoam.
12 Desperta, desperta, Débora; desperta, desperta, entoa um cântico; levanta-te, Baraque, e leva cativo o teu cativeiro, tu, filho de Abinoão.
13 Now he has made the remnant of the people to have dominion over the magnificent; the LORD made me have dominion over the mighty.
13 Então, ele fez com que aquele que permanece tenha domínio sobre os nobres no meio do povo: o SENHOR me fez ter o domínio sobre os poderosos.
14 Out of Ephraim came his root against Amalek; after thee, [came] Benjamin, against thy peoples; out of Machir came down princes; and from Zebulun, those that handle the pen of the writer.
14 De Efraim houve uma raiz contra Amaleque; depois de ti, Benjamim, no meio do teu povo; de Maquir desceram governantes, e de Zebulom aqueles que manuseiam a pena do escritor.
15 Also princes of Issachar [were] with Deborah; and Issachar, like Barak, went on foot into the valley. From the divisions of Reuben, great are the thoughts of the heart.
15 E os príncipes de Issacar estiveram com Débora; Issacar mesmo, e também Baraque; ele foi enviado a pé para o vale. Para as divisões de Rúben houve grandes pensamentos do coração.
16 Why didst thou abide among the sheepfolds, to hear the bleatings of the flocks? From the divisions of Reuben great are the searchings of the heart.
16 Por que habitaste no meio dos apriscos, para ouvir os balidos dos rebanhos? Para as divisões de Rúben houve grandes buscas do coração.
17 Gilead remained on the other side of the Jordan, and why did Dan remain next to the ships? Asher continued on the sea shore and remained in his breaches.
17 Gileade habitou além do Jordão; e por que Dã permaneceu em navios? Aser continuou à beira-mar, e habitou nas suas brechas.
18 Zebulun and Naphtali [were] a people [that] jeoparded their lives unto the death in the high places of the field.
18 Zebulom e Naftali eram um povo que arriscava a sua vida à morte nos lugares altos do campo.
19 The kings came [and] fought; then the kings of Canaan fought in Taanach by the waters of Megiddo; they took no gain of money.
19 Os reis vieram e lutaram; então lutaram contra os reis de Canaã em Tanaque, junto as águas de Megido; eles não tiveram qualquer ganho em dinheiro.
20 They fought from the heavens; the stars from their ways fought against Sisera.
20 Eles lutaram desde o céu; as estrelas, em suas órbitas, lutaram contra Sísera.
21 The river of Kishon swept them away, that ancient river, the river Kishon. Tred down, O my soul, with strength.
21 O rio de Quisom os varreu para longe, aquele rio antigo, o rio Quisom. Ó minha alma, tu pisaste sobre a força.
22 Then were the hoofs of the horses broken by the means of the pransings, the pransings of their mighty ones.
22 Depois, as patas dos cavalos foram quebradas por meio do seu galope, o galope dos seus poderosos.
23 Curse ye Meroz, said the angel of the LORD, curse ye bitterly the inhabitants thereof because they did not come to the help of the LORD, to the help of the LORD against the mighty.
23 Amaldiçoai Meroz, disse o anjo do SENHOR, amaldiçoai amargamente os seus habitantes; porque não vieram em auxílio ao SENHOR, em auxílio ao SENHOR contra os poderosos.
24 Blessed above women shall Jael, the wife of Heber the Kenite, be; blessed shall she be above women in the tent.
24 Abençoada sobre as mulheres será Jael, a esposa de Héber, o queneu; abençoada ela será sobre as mulheres na tenda.
25 He asked water, [and] she gave [him] milk; she brought forth cream in a lordly dish.
25 Ele pediu água, e ela lhe deu leite; ela lhe trouxe manteiga em um prato nobre.
26 She put her hand to the stake, and her right hand to the workmen's hammer, and with the hammer she smote Sisera, she smote off his head when she had pierced and stricken through his temples.
26 Ela colocou a sua mão no cravo, e a sua mão direita no martelo dos trabalhadores; e com o martelo ela feriu Sísera, ela golpeou a sua cabeça, quando perfurou e atravessou as suas têmporas.
27 At her feet he bowed, he fell, he lay down; at her feet he bowed, he fell; where he bowed, there he fell down dead.
27 Aos seus pés ele se curvou, caiu e deitou; aos seus pés ele se curvou, ele caiu; onde se curvou, ali ele caiu morto.
28 The mother of Sisera looked out the window and cried through the lattice, Why is his chariot [so] long in coming? Why do the wheels of his chariots tarry?
28 A mãe de Sísera olhava por uma janela, e chorava através da grade: Por que a sua carruagem demora tanto para vir? Por que tardam as rodas das suas carruagens?
29 Her wise princesses answered her; and she even answered to herself,
29 As suas sábias damas lhe respondiam, sim, ela voltava a responder a si mesma:
30 Have they not found spoil and are dividing it? To each man a damsel [or] two; to Sisera a spoil of different colours, a spoil of different colours of needlework, of different colours of needlework on both sides, [meet] for the necks of [those that take] the spoil?
30 Não se apressaram eles? Não repartiram os despojos; para cada homem uma ou duas donzelas; para Sísera um despojo de várias cores, um despojo de várias cores de bordados, de várias cores de bordados em ambos os lados, juntam-se para o pescoço daqueles que tomam o despojo?
31 So let all thine enemies perish, O LORD, but [let] those that love thee [be] as the sun when he rises in all his might. And the land had rest forty years.:
31 Então que pereçam todos os teus inimigos, ó SENHOR, mas que aqueles que o amam sejam como o sol, quando desponta no seu poder. E a terra teve descanso por quarenta anos.
