1 Concerning the divisions of the porters, of the Korhites: Meshelemiah, the son of Kore, of the sons of Asaph.
1 Estas são as divisões dos guardas das portas: Dos coraítas: Meselemias, filho de Coré, da família de Abiasafe.
2 The sons of Meshelemiah: Zechariah, the firstborn, Jediael, the second, Zebadiah, the third, Jathniel, the fourth,
2 O primeiro filho de Meselamias foi Zacarias, o segundo, Jediael, o terceiro, Zebadias, o quarto, Jatniel,
3 Elam, the fifth, Jehohanan, the sixth, Elioenai, the seventh.
3 o quinto, Elão, o sexto, Joanã, e o sétimo, Elioenai.
4 The sons of Obededom: Shemaiah, the firstborn, Jehozabad, the second, Joah, the third, and Sacar, the fourth, Nethaneel, the fifth,
4 O primeiro filho de Obede-Edom foi Semaías, o segundo, Jeozabade, o terceiro, Joá, o quarto, Sacar, o quinto, Natanael,
5 Ammiel, the sixth, Issachar, the seventh, Peulthai, the eighth; for God had blessed him.
5 o sexto, Amiel, o sétimo, Issacar, e o oitavo, Peuletai. Deus havia abençoado Obede-Edom.
6 Also unto Shemaiah, his son, were sons born, that ruled throughout the house of their fathers, for they [were] mighty men of valour.
6 Semaías, filho de Obede-Edom, teve filhos muito capazes, que ocuparam posições de grande autoridade no clã.
7 The sons of Shemaiah: Othni, Rephael, Obed, Elzabad, and their brethren, strong men; likewise, Elihu and Semachiah.
7 Estes eram os nomes deles: Otni, Rafael, Obede e Elzabade. Seus parentes, Eliú e Semaquias, também foram homens muito capazes.
8 All these of the sons of Obededom; they and their sons and their brethren, valiant men strong for the ministry, [were] sixty-two, of Obededom.

9 And Meshelemiah had sons and brethren, valiant men, eighteen.

10 Of Hosah, of the sons of Merari: Simri, the chief, (for [though] he was not the firstborn, yet his father made him the chief)
10 Os filhos de Hosa, do clã de Merari, foram: Sinri, nomeado chefe por seu pai, embora não fosse o mais velho,
11 Hilkiah the second, Tebaliah, the third, Zechariah, the fourth; all the sons and brethren of Hosah [were] thirteen.
11 Hilquias, o segundo, Tebalias, o terceiro, e Zacarias, o quarto. Os filhos e parentes de Hosá foram treze ao todo.
12 Among these [were] the divisions of the porters, [even] among the chief men, [having] wards one against another [two by two], to minister in the house of the LORD.
12 Essas divisões de guardas das portas foram feitas conforme os chefes de suas famílias. Os guardas, como os outros levitas, serviam na casa do S enhor .
13 And they cast lots, the small as well as the great, according to the houses of their fathers, for each gate.
13 Foram encarregados de guardar as portas por sorteio, de acordo com as famílias, sem levar em conta idade ou treinamento.
14 And the lot of the east fell to Shelemiah. Then for Zechariah, his son, a wise counsellor, they cast lots; and his lot came out for the north.
14 Meselemias e seu grupo ficaram responsáveis pela porta leste. Seu filho Zacarias, conselheiro de grande sabedoria, ficou responsável pela porta norte.
15 To Obededom towards the Negev; and to his sons the house of consultation.

16 To Shuppim and Hosah to the west, with the gate Shallecheth, by the causeway of the going up, ward against ward.

17 To the east six Levites, to the north four by day, to the Negev four by day, and toward the house of the consultation two by two.

18 At the chamber of the vessels to the west, four in the way [and] two in the chamber.

19 These [are] the divisions of the porters among the sons of Kore and among the sons of Merari.
19 Essas foram as divisões dos guardas das portas dos clãs de Coré e de Merari.
20 And of the Levites, Ahijah [was] over the treasures of the house of God and over the treasures of the holy things.
20 Outros levitas, sob a liderança de Aías, eram encarregados dos tesouros da casa de Deus e dos depósitos onde ficavam os objetos consagrados.
21 [As concerning] the sons of Laadan; the sons of Gershon: of Laadan; chief fathers of Laadan [were] Gershon and Jehieli.

22 The sons of Jehieli: Zetham and Joel, his brother, [who were] over the treasures of the house of the LORD.

23 Of the Amramites, [and] the Izharites, the Hebronites, [and] the Uzzielites,

24 Shebuel, the son of Gershon, the son of Moses, [was] ruler of the treasures.
24 Do clã de Anrão, Sebuel foi descendente de Gérson, filho de Moisés. Era o oficial encarregado dos tesouros.
25 And his brother Eliezer, Rehabiah, his son, Jeshaiah, his son, Joram, his son, Zichri, his son, and Shelomith, his son.

26 This Shelomith and his brethren [were] over all the treasures of the holy things, which David, the king, and the chief fathers, the captains over thousands and hundreds, and the princes of the host had dedicated.
26 Selemote e seus parentes eram encarregados dos tesouros que o rei Davi, os chefes das famílias, os generais e capitães e outros oficiais do exército haviam dedicado ao S enhor .
27 [That which] out of the spoils won in battles they had dedicated to maintain the house of the LORD.

28 Likewise, all that Samuel, the seer, and Saul, the son of Kish, and Abner, the son of Ner, and Joab, the son of Zeruiah, and all that anyone had dedicated; it was under the hand of Shelomith and of his brethren.
28 Selomote e seus parentes também cuidavam de todas as ofertas dedicadas ao S enhor pelo vidente Samuel, por Saul, filho de Quis, por Abner, filho de Ner, e por Joabe, filho de Zeruia. Eram responsáveis, ainda, pelas demais ofertas dedicadas ao S enhor .
29 Of the Izharites, Chenaniah and his sons [were] governors and judges over Israel.
29 Do clã de Isar, Quenanias e seus filhos receberam as responsabilidades administrativas de Israel como oficiais e juízes.
30 Of the Hebronites, Hashabiah and his brethren, men of valour, a thousand seven hundred, presided over Israel on the other side of the Jordan westward in all the work of the LORD and in the service of the king.
30 Do clã de Hebrom, Hasabias e seus parentes, 1.700 homens capazes, foram encarregados das terras israelitas a oeste do rio Jordão. Eram responsáveis por todas as questões relacionadas ao serviço do S enhor e do rei nessa região.
31 Of the Hebronites [was] Jerijah, the chief among the Hebronites, according to the generations of his fathers. In the fortieth year of the reign of David they were sought for, and there were found among them mighty men of valour at Jazer of Gilead.
31 Também do clã de Hebrom, Jerias era o chefe dos hebronitas, de acordo com os registros genealógicos. No quadragésimo ano do reinado de Davi, fez-se uma busca nos registros e foram encontrados homens capazes do clã de Hebrom em Jazer, na terra de Gileade.
32 And his brethren, men of valour, [were] two thousand seven hundred chief fathers, whom King David made rulers over the Reubenites, the Gadites, and the half tribe of Manasseh, for every matter pertaining to God and affairs of the king.:
32 Havia 2.700 homens capazes e chefes de família entre os parentes de Jerias. O rei Davi os enviou para o lado leste do Jordão e os encarregou das tribos de Rúben e Gade e da meia tribo de Manassés. Eram responsáveis por todas as questões relacionadas a Deus e ao rei.
