1 Concerning the divisions of the porters, of the Korhites: Meshelemiah, the son of Kore, of the sons of Asaph.
1 Segue a lista dos levitas que foram escalados para trabalhar como guardas do Templo: Meselemias, filho de Coré, da família de Asafe e do grupo de famílias de Corá.
2 The sons of Meshelemiah: Zechariah, the firstborn, Jediael, the second, Zebadiah, the third, Jathniel, the fourth,
2 Ele foi pai de sete filhos, que foram os seguintes, por ordem de idade: Zacarias, Jediael, Zebadias, Jatniel,
3 Elam, the fifth, Jehohanan, the sixth, Elioenai, the seventh.
3 Elão, Joanã e Elioenai.
4 The sons of Obededom: Shemaiah, the firstborn, Jehozabad, the second, Joah, the third, and Sacar, the fourth, Nethaneel, the fifth,

5 Ammiel, the sixth, Issachar, the seventh, Peulthai, the eighth; for God had blessed him.

6 Also unto Shemaiah, his son, were sons born, that ruled throughout the house of their fathers, for they [were] mighty men of valour.

7 The sons of Shemaiah: Othni, Rephael, Obed, Elzabad, and their brethren, strong men; likewise, Elihu and Semachiah.

8 All these of the sons of Obededom; they and their sons and their brethren, valiant men strong for the ministry, [were] sixty-two, of Obededom.
8 A família de Obede-Edom forneceu sessenta e dois homens valentes e fortes para trabalharem como guardas do Templo.
9 And Meshelemiah had sons and brethren, valiant men, eighteen.
9 A família de Meselemias forneceu dezoito homens valentes.
10 Of Hosah, of the sons of Merari: Simri, the chief, (for [though] he was not the firstborn, yet his father made him the chief)
10 Do grupo de famílias de Merari havia Hosa, que foi pai de quatro filhos: Sinri, que foi posto pelo seu pai como chefe, embora não fosse o filho mais velho;
11 Hilkiah the second, Tebaliah, the third, Zechariah, the fourth; all the sons and brethren of Hosah [were] thirteen.
11 Hilquias, Tebalias e Zacarias. Ao todo, treze membros da família de Hosa eram guardas do Templo.
12 Among these [were] the divisions of the porters, [even] among the chief men, [having] wards one against another [two by two], to minister in the house of the LORD.
12 Os guardas do Templo foram divididos em grupos, de acordo com as suas famílias, e receberam tarefas no serviço do Templo, como os outros levitas.
13 And they cast lots, the small as well as the great, according to the houses of their fathers, for each gate.
13 Fizeram um sorteio entre as famílias, tanto grandes como pequenas, e assim cada uma foi escalada para tomar conta de um portão.
14 And the lot of the east fell to Shelemiah. Then for Zechariah, his son, a wise counsellor, they cast lots; and his lot came out for the north.
14 Selemias recebeu por sorteio o portão leste, e o seu filho Zacarias, que sempre dava bons conselhos, recebeu o portão norte.
15 To Obededom towards the Negev; and to his sons the house of consultation.
15 Obede-Edom foi sorteado para o portão sul, e os seus filhos foram sorteados para tomar conta dos depósitos.
16 To Shuppim and Hosah to the west, with the gate Shallecheth, by the causeway of the going up, ward against ward.
16 Supim e Hosa receberam por sorteio o portão oeste e o portão de Salequete, na estrada de cima. O serviço dos guardas foi dividido do seguinte modo:
17 To the east six Levites, to the north four by day, to the Negev four by day, and toward the house of the consultation two by two.
17 cada dia havia seis guardas no leste, quatro no norte e quatro no sul. Quatro guardas ficavam nos depósitos: dois em cada um.
18 At the chamber of the vessels to the west, four in the way [and] two in the chamber.
18 No pátio oeste ficavam quatro guardas perto da estrada, e dois no pátio propriamente dito.
19 These [are] the divisions of the porters among the sons of Kore and among the sons of Merari.
19 Assim ficaram repartidas as tarefas dos guardas que pertenciam ao grupo de famílias de Corá e de Merari.
20 And of the Levites, Ahijah [was] over the treasures of the house of God and over the treasures of the holy things.
20 Outros dos seus irmãos levitas estavam encarregados do tesouro do Templo e dos depósitos onde ficavam guardados os presentes oferecidos a Deus.
21 [As concerning] the sons of Laadan; the sons of Gershon: of Laadan; chief fathers of Laadan [were] Gershon and Jehieli.
21 Ladã, um dos filhos de Gérson, foi o antepassado de muitos grupos de famílias, entre eles a família do seu filho Jeieli.
22 The sons of Jehieli: Zetham and Joel, his brother, [who were] over the treasures of the house of the LORD.
22 Zetã e Joel, os outros dois filhos de Ladã, estavam encarregados do tesouro e dos depósitos do Templo.
23 Of the Amramites, [and] the Izharites, the Hebronites, [and] the Uzzielites,
23 Os descendentes de Anrão, Isar, Hebrom e Uziel também receberam tarefas.
24 Shebuel, the son of Gershon, the son of Moses, [was] ruler of the treasures.
24 Sebuel, do grupo de famílias de Gérson, filho de Moisés, era o oficial encarregado do tesouro do Templo.
25 And his brother Eliezer, Rehabiah, his son, Jeshaiah, his son, Joram, his son, Zichri, his son, and Shelomith, his son.
25 Ele era aparentado com Selomite através de Eliézer, irmão de Gérson. Eliézer foi pai de Reabias, Reabias foi pai de Jesaías, Jesaías foi pai de Jorão, Jorão foi pai de Zicri, e Zicri foi pai de Selomite.
26 This Shelomith and his brethren [were] over all the treasures of the holy things, which David, the king, and the chief fathers, the captains over thousands and hundreds, and the princes of the host had dedicated.
26 Selomite e os membros da sua família estavam encarregados de todos os presentes oferecidos a Deus pelo rei Davi, pelos chefes de famílias, pelos líderes de grupos de famílias e pelos oficiais do exército.
27 [That which] out of the spoils won in battles they had dedicated to maintain the house of the LORD.
27 Esses presentes eram coisas tomadas dos inimigos na guerra e separadas para serem usadas no Templo.
28 Likewise, all that Samuel, the seer, and Saul, the son of Kish, and Abner, the son of Ner, and Joab, the son of Zeruiah, and all that anyone had dedicated; it was under the hand of Shelomith and of his brethren.
28 Selomite e a sua família estavam encarregados de tudo aquilo que havia sido dedicado para ser usado no Templo. No meio dessas coisas estavam os presentes dados pelo profeta Samuel, pelo rei Saul, por Abner, filho de Ner, e por Joabe, cuja mãe se chamava Zeruia.
29 Of the Izharites, Chenaniah and his sons [were] governors and judges over Israel.
29 Quenanias e os seus filhos, que eram descendentes de Isar, estavam encarregados de escrever o que acontecia e de resolver as questões que surgiam no meio do povo de Israel.
30 Of the Hebronites, Hashabiah and his brethren, men of valour, a thousand seven hundred, presided over Israel on the other side of the Jordan westward in all the work of the LORD and in the service of the king.
30 Hasabias e mil e setecentos dos seus parentes, todos eles homens de valor, eram descendentes de Hebrom. Eles foram encarregados de cuidar de todos os assuntos, tanto os religiosos como os da vida comum em Israel, no lado oeste do rio Jordão.
31 Of the Hebronites [was] Jerijah, the chief among the Hebronites, according to the generations of his fathers. In the fortieth year of the reign of David they were sought for, and there were found among them mighty men of valour at Jazer of Gilead.
31 Jerias era o chefe dos descendentes de Hebrom. No ano quarenta do reinado de Davi, foi feita uma pesquisa nas listas de famílias dos descendentes de Hebrom. E foram encontrados morando em Jazer, na região de Gileade, soldados de grande coragem que pertenciam à família de Hebrom.
32 And his brethren, men of valour, [were] two thousand seven hundred chief fathers, whom King David made rulers over the Reubenites, the Gadites, and the half tribe of Manasseh, for every matter pertaining to God and affairs of the king.:
32 Entre os parentes de Jerias, o rei Davi escolheu dois mil e setecentos chefes de famílias, homens de valor, e os encarregou de cuidar de todos os assuntos, tanto os religiosos como os da vida comum em Israel, no lado leste do rio Jordão, isto é, nos territórios de Rúben, Gade e Manassés do Leste.
