1 A Psalm of praise; of David. I will extol Thee, my God, O King; and I will bless Thy name for ever and ever.
1 Exaltar-te-ei, ó Deus meu e Rei; bendirei o teu nome para todo o sempre.
2 Every day will I bless Thee; and I will praise Thy name for ever and ever.
2 Todos os dias te bendirei e louvarei o teu nome para todo o sempre.
3 Great is the LORD, and highly to be praised; and His greatness is unsearchable.
3 Grande é o Senhor e mui digno de ser louvado; a sua grandeza é insondável.
4 One generation shall laud Thy works to another, and shall declare Thy mighty acts.
4 Uma geração louvará a outra geração as tuas obras e anunciará os teus poderosos feitos.
5 The glorious splendour of Thy majesty, and Thy wondrous works, will I rehearse.
5 Meditarei no glorioso esplendor da tua majestade e nas tuas maravilhas.
6 And men shall speak of the might of Thy tremendous acts; and I will tell of Thy greatness.
6 Falar-se-á do poder dos teus feitos tremendos, e contarei a tua grandeza.
7 They shall utter the fame of Thy great goodness, and shall sing of Thy righteousness.
7 Divulgarão a memória de tua muita bondade e com júbilo celebrarão a tua justiça.
8 The LORD is gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy.
8 Benigno e misericordioso é o Senhor , tardio em irar-se e de grande clemência.
9 The LORD is good to all; and His tender mercies are over all His works.
9 O Senhor é bom para todos, e as suas ternas misericórdias permeiam todas as suas obras.
10 All Thy works shall praise Thee, O LORD; and Thy saints shall bless Thee.
10 Todas as tuas obras te renderão graças, Senhor ; e os teus santos te bendirão.
11 They shall speak of the glory of Thy kingdom, and talk of Thy might;
11 Falarão da glória do teu reino e confessarão o teu poder,
12 To make known to the sons of men His mighty acts, and the glory of the majesty of His kingdom.
12 para que aos filhos dos homens se façam notórios os teus poderosos feitos e a glória da majestade do teu reino.
13 Thy kingdom is a kingdom for all ages, and Thy dominion endureth throughout all generations.
13 O teu reino é o de todos os séculos, e o teu domínio subsiste por todas as gerações. O e santo em todas as suas obras.
14 The LORD upholdeth all that fall, and raiseth up all those that are bowed down.
14 O Senhor sustém os que vacilam e apruma todos os prostrados.
15 The eyes of all wait for Thee, and Thou givest them their food in due season.
15 Em ti esperam os olhos de todos, e tu, a seu tempo, lhes dás o alimento.
16 Thou openest Thy hand, and satisfiest every living thing with favour.
16 Abres a mão e satisfazes de benevolência a todo vivente.
17 The LORD is righteous in all His ways, and gracious in all His works.
17 Justo é o Senhor em todos os seus caminhos, benigno em todas as suas obras.
18 The LORD is nigh unto all them that call upon Him, to all that call upon Him in truth.
18 Perto está o Senhor de todos os que o invocam, de todos os que o invocam em verdade.
19 He will fulfil the desire of them that fear Him; He also will hear their cry, and will save them.
19 Ele acode à vontade dos que o temem; atende-lhes o clamor e os salva.
20 The LORD preserveth all them that love Him; but all the wicked will He destroy.
20 O Senhor guarda a todos os que o amam; porém os ímpios serão exterminados.
21 My mouth shall speak the praise of the LORD; and let all flesh bless His holy name for ever and ever.
21 Profira a minha boca louvores ao Senhor , e toda carne louve o seu santo nome, para todo o sempre.
