1 'Màng aih, pì ep cađac dŏng dìq rìm bìac ngang dù, bìac padô alùan, bìac loq 'nùt, git tagìq wa rìm bìac capoch jù lê,
1 Deponde, pois, toda malícia, toda astúcia, fingimentos, invejas e toda espécie de maledicência.
2 phai tìah ca 'bài con nga neo xa-ông, loq ham enh ca tôh hadròih da Bàu Chuaq, nhò enh aih èh pì jah yòng càn ta bìac dèch claih,
2 as newborn babes desire earnestly the pure mental milk of the word, that by it ye may grow up to salvation,
3 tàng pì joq 'nàng khoi jah loq Chuaq i manoh khôn khaoq.
3 if indeed ye have tasted that the Lord {is} good.
4 Èh phai trùh haten ca Haq, tìah ca Hmu Rìh ma con mangai khoi cađac, mahaq Boc Plình khoi ràih Haq ma dìq jaq lem canaq,

5 pì hadai jah tìah ca hmu rìh jah yŏc đòiq broq wìa mòiq toq hnem hadròih, jah wìa mòiq pajàu hadròih, pì jah dèch am ngè tadreo hadròih broq lem manoh Boc Plình nhò Chuaq Jêxu Crich.
5 yourselves also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
6 Ma jah 'màng aih Sech Hadròih khoi achìh:
6 Because it is contained in the scripture: Behold, I lay in Zion a corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believes on him shall not be put to shame.
7 Ma jah 'màng aih ca pì ma lùi, Haq dìq jaq lem canaq, mahaq ca wì ma ùh lùi:
7 To you therefore who believe {is} the preciousness; but to the disobedient, the stone which the builders cast away as worthless, this is become head of {the} corner,
8 aih:
8 and a stone of stumbling and rock of offence; {who} stumble at the word, being disobedient to which also they have been appointed.
9 Mahaq pì xinoi khoi jah ràih, khoi jah broq pajàu da Boc Plình, broq jàn hadròih, aih jàn da Boc Plình, đòiq pì anoi hlài bàu manè Haq ma khoi creo pì loh enh nòi clam clôiq đòiq jah mùt ta nòi 'ngah 'ngiang lem lình da Haq.
9 But *ye* {are} a chosen race, a kingly priesthood, a holy nation, a people for a possession, that ye might set forth the excellencies of him who has called you out of darkness to his wonderful light;
10 Adroi cô nèh pì ùh xài con jàn leq, mahaq manàiq cô pì khoi broq con jàn Boc Plình; adroi cô nèh pì 'nhòq jah nhàn yŏc bìac xa-ŏch, mahaq manàiq cô pì khoi jah nhàn yŏc bìac xa-ŏch.
10 who once {were} not a people, but now God's people; who were not enjoying mercy, but now have found mercy.
11 Ôi oh daq au ma loq waq, ŏi ta crŏng taneh cô, pì tìah ca mangai tamoi hangai ŏi đò, au xìn pì phai wia enh bìac ham chac xech aih tajraq hlài ca mahua yiang pì,
11 Beloved, I exhort {you}, as strangers and sojourners, to abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;
12 mahaq phai rìh ma lem ta'ne mangai jàn 'noiq, đòiq jò wì haq capoch 'mèq ca pì, wì haq hnoq bìac lem pì broq, 'màng aih wì haq jah manè Boc Plình ta hì Haq trùh hadrah crŏng taneh.
12 having your conversation honest among the Gentiles, that {as to that} in which they speak against you as evildoers, they may through {your} good works, {themselves} witnessing {them}, glorify God in {the} day of visitation.
13 Taiq Chuaq, pì phai dì tiaq dìq ca ranenh chenh phù da con mangai pa'noh, 'nhac ca bùa mangai ma i cwìang yi enh 'nhèq,

14 loq mangai cwan, mangai bùa ma thê trùh đòiq baxa 'bài mangai ma broq bìac dù, wa đòiq manè 'bài mangai ma broq bìac lem,
14 or to rulers as sent by him, for vengeance on evildoers, and praise to them that do well.
15 ma jah 'màng aih Boc Plình enh pì broq bìac lem, đòiq broq hatenh đac ca bàu awàt da 'bài mangai blùng.
15 Because so is the will of God, that by well-doing ye put to silence the ignorance of senseless men;
16 Pì rìh tìah ca 'bài mangai ùh tawac ùh pakènh beq, mahaq ùh yŏc bìac ma ùh tawac ùh pakènh aih đòiq gahnàp đac bìac dù, mahaq ep loq dađeh broq hapŏng da Boc Plình.
16 as free, and not as having liberty as a cloak of malice, but as God's bondmen.
17 Khòh loq iu rìm ngai, loq waq con caiq Chuaq, loq yùq crè ca Boc Plình, wa loq iu bùa.
17 Shew honour to all, love the brotherhood, fear God, honour the king.
18 Ôi mangai broq hapŏng, ep iu dèh craq xam dìq ca manoh loq yùq crè, ùh xài toq ca mangai craq i manoh lem, mahaq hadai iu ca mangai craq 'mèq manoh.
18 Servants, {be} subject with all fear to your masters, not only to the good and gentle, but also to the ill-tempered.
19 Tàng mangai taiq Boc Plình haq chìuq jìq manoh, chìuq nan xa taiq bìac ùh ta-atoq, aih bìac đang ca manè.
19 For this {is} acceptable, if one, for conscience sake towards God, endure griefs, suffering unjustly.
20 Tàng broq bìac dù 'bìq wì jêh, èh nui chìuq àt, bìac aih i cleq đang ca catèh ùh? Mahaq tàng pì broq bìac lem mahaq xôq chìuq àt jò 'bìq baxa, aih bìac đang ca manè enh ngìa ca Boc Plình.
20 For what glory {is it}, if sinning and being buffeted ye shall bear {it}? but if, doing good and suffering, ye shall bear {it}, this is acceptable with God.
21 Taiq bìac cô raq pì khoi jah Boc Plình creo, ma jah 'màng aih Chuaq Jêxu Crich khoi chìuq jìq xa đòiq broq dua am ca pì, waq ca pì cadiang tiaq teo jènh Haq:
21 For to this have ye been called; for Christ also has suffered for you, leaving you a model that ye should follow in his steps:
22 “Haq ùh jò leq broq tôiq,
22 who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth;
23 Jò wì hanip Haq, Haq ùh jò leq hanip hlài. Jò chìuq nan xa, Haq ùh jò leq hacam hlài, mahaq Haq am chac dađeh ca Haq ma hadrah ta-atoq.
23 who, {when} reviled, reviled not again; {when} suffering, threatened not; but gave {himself} over into the hands of him who judges righteously;
24 Haq yŏc dèh chac đòiq pòq tôiq lôi bèn ta long pagat, waq ca bèn mangai khoi cachìt ca tôiq lôi, jah rìh ca bìac ta-atoq.
24 who himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, in order that, being dead to sins, we may live to righteousness: by whose stripes ye have been healed.
25 Ma jah “ 'màng aih pì tìah đeh ca trìu lam lac,” mahaq manàiq cô khoi jah wìh hlài ti Mangai Ban Trìu, Haq Mangai Wèq mahua yiang pì.
25 For ye were going astray as sheep, but have now returned to the shepherd and overseer of your souls.
