1 A prayer of David. Incline thine eare, O Lord, and heare me: for I am poore and needy.
1 Inclina, Senhor , os teus ouvidos e responde-me, pois estou aflito e necessitado.
2 Preserue thou my soule, for I am mercifull: my God, saue thou thy seruant, that trusteth in thee.
2 Preserva a minha alma, pois eu sou piedoso. Ó Deus meu, salva o teu servo que em ti confia.
3 Be mercifull vnto me, O Lord: for I crie vpon thee continually.
3 Compadece-te de mim, ó Senhor, pois a ti clamo todo o dia.
4 Reioyce the soule of thy seruant: for vnto thee, O Lord, doe I lift vp my soule.
4 Alegra a alma do teu servo, porque a ti, Senhor, elevo a minha alma.
5 For thou, Lord, art good and mercifull, and of great kindenes vnto all them, that call vpon thee.
5 Pois tu, Senhor, és bom e perdoador; rico em misericórdia para com todos os que te invocam.
6 Giue eare, Lord, vnto my prayer, and hearken to the voyce of my supplication.
6 Escuta, Senhor , a minha oração e atende à voz das minhas súplicas.
7 In the day of my trouble I will call vpon thee: for thou hearest me.
7 No dia da minha angústia clamo a ti, porque me respondes.
8 Among the gods there is none like thee, O Lord, and there is none that can doe like thy workes.
8 Não há entre os deuses quem seja semelhante a ti, Senhor; e nada existe que se compare às tuas obras.
9 All nations, whome thou hast made, shall come and worship before thee, O Lord, and shall glorifie thy Name.
9 Todas as nações que fizeste virão, se prostrarão diante de ti, Senhor, e glorificarão o teu nome.
10 For thou art great and doest wonderous things: thou art God alone.
10 Pois tu és grande e operas maravilhas; só tu és Deus!
11 Teach me thy way, O Lord, and I will walke in thy trueth: knit mine heart vnto thee, that I may feare thy Name.
11 Ensina-me, Senhor , o teu caminho, e andarei na tua verdade; põe em meu coração o desejo de temer o teu nome.
12 I wil prayse thee, O Lord my God, with all mine heart: yea, I wil glorifie thy Name for euer.
12 Eu te darei graças, Senhor, Deus meu, de todo o coração, e glorificarei para sempre o teu nome.
13 For great is thy mercie toward me, and thou hast deliuered my soule from the lowest graue.
13 Pois grande é a tua misericórdia para comigo, e me livraste a alma do mais profundo poder da morte.
14 O God, the proude are risen against me, and the assemblies of violent men haue sought my soule, and haue not set thee before them.
14 Ó Deus, os soberbos se levantaram contra mim, e um bando de violentos procura tirar-me a vida; eles não te consideram.
15 But thou, O Lord, art a pitifull God and mercifull, slowe to anger and great in kindenes and trueth.
15 Mas tu, Senhor, és Deus compassivo e bondoso, tardio em irar-se e grande em misericórdia e fidelidade.
16 Turne vnto me, and haue mercy vpon me: giue thy strength vnto thy seruant, and saue the sonne of thine handmayd.
16 Volta-te para mim e tem compaixão de mim; concede a tua força ao teu servo e salva o filho da tua serva.
17 Shew a token of thy goodnes towarde me, that they which hate me, may see it, and be ashamed, because thou, O Lord, hast holpen me and comforted me.
17 Mostra-me um sinal do teu favor, para que o vejam e se envergonhem os que me odeiam; pois tu, me ajudas e me consolas.
