1 A song of degrees. I will lift mine eyes vnto the mountaines, from whence mine helpe shall come.
1 Canção gradual. Levantarei os meus olhos para os montes, de onde vem o meu socorro.
2 Mine helpe commeth from the Lord, which hath made the heauen and the earth.
2 O meu socorro vem do SENHOR, que fez o céu e a terra.
3 He wil not suffer thy foote to slippe: for he that keepeth thee, will not slumber.
3 Não permitirá que o teu pé seja abalado; aquele que te guarda não cochilará.
4 Beholde, he that keepeth Israel, wil neither slumber nor sleepe.
4 Eis que aquele que guarda Israel não cochilará nem dormirá.
5 The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shadow at thy right hand.
5 O SENHOR é o teu guardador; o SENHOR é a tua sombra sobre a tua mão direita.
6 The sunne shall not smite thee by day, nor the moone by night.
6 O sol não te castigará de dia nem a lua de noite.
7 The Lord shall preserue thee from all euil: he shall keepe thy soule.
7 O SENHOR te preservará de todo o mal; ele preservará a tua alma.
8 The Lord shall preserue thy going out, and thy comming in from henceforth and for euer.
8 O SENHOR preservará a tua ida e a tua vinda, de agora em diante e para sempre.
