¹ A song of degrees. I will lift mine eyes vnto the mountaines, from whence mine helpe shall come.

¹ Levantarei os meus olhos para os montes, de onde vem o meu socorro.

² Mine helpe commeth from the Lord, which hath made the heauen and the earth.

² O meu socorro vem do Senhor que fez o céu e a terra.

³ He wil not suffer thy foote to slippe: for he that keepeth thee, will not slumber.

³ Não deixará vacilar o teu pé; aquele que te guarda não tosquenejará.

⁴ Beholde, he that keepeth Israel, wil neither slumber nor sleepe.

⁴ Eis que não tosquenejará nem dormirá o guarda de Israel.

⁵ The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shadow at thy right hand.

⁵ O Senhor é quem te guarda; o Senhor é a tua sombra à tua direita.

⁶ The sunne shall not smite thee by day, nor the moone by night.

⁶ O sol não te molestará de dia nem a lua de noite.

⁷ The Lord shall preserue thee from all euil: he shall keepe thy soule.

⁷ O Senhor te guardará de todo o mal; guardará a tua alma.

⁸ The Lord shall preserue thy going out, and thy comming in from henceforth and for euer.

⁸ O Senhor guardará a tua entrada e a tua saída, desde agora e para sempre.
