1 And God blessed Noah and his sonnes, and said to them, Bring foorth fruite, and multiplie, and replenish the earth.
1 Então Deus abençoou Noé e seus filhos e lhes disse: “Sejam férteis e multipliquem-se. Encham a terra.
2 Also the feare of you, and the dread of you shalbe vpon euery beast of the earth, and vpon euery foule of the heauen, vpon all that moueth on the earth, and vpon all the fishes of the sea: into your hand are they deliuered.
2 Todos os animais da terra, todas as aves do céu, todos os animais que rastejam pelo chão e todos os peixes do mar terão medo e pavor de vocês. Eu os coloquei sob o seu domínio.
3 Euery thing that moueth and liueth, shall be meate for you: as the greene herbe, haue I giuen you all things.
3 Assim como dei a vocês os cereais e os vegetais por alimento, também lhes dou os animais.
4 But flesh with the life thereof, I meane, with the blood thereof, shall ye not eate.
4 Mas nunca comam carne com sangue, pois sangue é vida.
5 For surely I will require your blood, wherein your liues are: at the hand of euery beast will I require it: and at the hand of man, euen at the hand of a mans brother will I require the life of man.
5 “Exigirei o sangue de todo aquele que tirar a vida de alguém. Se um animal selvagem matar alguém, deverá ser morto; quem cometer assassinato, também deverá morrer.
6 Who so sheadeth mans blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God hath he made man.
6 Quem tirar a vida humana, por mãos humanas perderá a vida. Pois eu criei o ser humano à minha imagem.
7 But bring ye forth fruite and multiplie: grow plentifully in the earth, and increase therein.
7 Agora, sejam férteis e multipliquem-se, povoem a terra outra vez”.
8 God spake also to Noah and to his sonnes with him, saying,
8 Então Deus disse a Noé e seus filhos:
9 Behold, I, euen I establish my couenant with you, and with your seede after you,
9 “Confirmo aqui a minha aliança com vocês, seus descendentes
10 And with euery liuing creature that is with you, with the foule, with the cattell, and with euery beast of the earth with you, from all that goe out of the Arke, vnto euery beast of the earth.
10 e todos os animais que estavam com vocês na embarcação: as aves, os animais domésticos e os animais selvagens, todos os seres vivos da terra.
11 And my couenant will I establish with you, that from henceforth all flesh shall not be rooted out by ye waters of the flood, neither shall there be a flood to destroy the earth any more.
11 Sim, confirmo a minha aliança com vocês. Nunca mais os seres vivos serão exterminados pelas águas; nunca mais a terra será destruída por um dilúvio”.
12 Then God saide, This is the token of the couenant which I make betweene me and you, and betweene euery liuing thing, that is with you vnto perpetuall generations.
12 Então Deus disse: “Eu lhes dou um sinal da minha aliança com vocês e com todos os seres vivos, para todas as gerações futuras.
13 I haue set my bowe in the cloude, and it shalbe for a signe of the couenant betweene me and the earth.
13 Coloquei o arco-íris nas nuvens. Ele é o sinal da minha aliança com toda a terra.
14 And when I shall couer the earth with a cloud, and the bowe shall be seene in the cloude,
14 Quando eu enviar nuvens sobre a terra, nelas aparecerá o arco-íris,
15 Then will I remember my couenant, which is betweene me and you, and betweene euery liuing thing in all flesh, and there shalbe no more waters of a flood to destroy all flesh.
15 e eu me lembrarei da minha aliança com vocês e com todos os seres vivos. Nunca mais as águas de um dilúvio destruirão toda a vida.
16 Therefore the bowe shalbe in the cloude, that I may see it, and remember the euerlasting couenant betweene God, and euery liuing thing in all flesh that is vpon the earth.
16 Ao olhar para o arco-íris nas nuvens, eu me lembrarei da aliança eterna entre Deus e todos os seres vivos da terra”.
17 God said yet to Noah, This is the signe of the couenant, which I haue established betweene me and all flesh that is vpon the earth.
17 Então Deus disse a Noé: “Este arco-íris é o sinal da aliança que confirmo com todas as criaturas da terra”.
18 Nowe the sonnes of Noah going foorth of the Arke, were Shem and Ham and Iapheth. And Ham is the father of Canaan.
18 Os filhos de Noé que saíram da arca com o pai foram Sem, Cam e Jafé. (Cam é o pai de Canaã.)
19 These are the three sonnes of Noah, and of them was the whole earth ouerspred.
19 Desses três filhos de Noé vêm todas as pessoas que agora povoam a terra.
20 Noah also began to be an husband man and planted a vineyard.
20 Depois do dilúvio, Noé começou a cultivar o solo e plantou uma videira.
21 And he drunke of ye wine and was drunken, and was vncouered in the middes of his tent.
21 Certo dia, bebeu do vinho que ele próprio havia produzido, ficou embriagado e foi deitar-se nu em sua tenda.
22 And when Ham the father of Canaan sawe the nakednesse of his father, he tolde his two brethren without.
22 Cam, pai de Canaã, viu que seu pai estava nu e saiu para contar aos irmãos.
23 Then tooke Shem and Iapheth a garment, and put it vpon both their shoulders, and went backwarde, and couered the nakednesse of their father with their faces backwarde: so they sawe not their fathers nakednesse.
23 Então Sem e Jafé pegaram um manto e o colocaram sobre os ombros. Em seguida, entraram na tenda de costas e, olhando para o outro lado a fim de não ver a nudez do pai, cobriram-no com o manto.
24 Then Noah awoke from his wine, and knew what his yonger sonne had done vnto him,
24 Quando Noé se recuperou da bebedeira e descobriu o que Cam, seu filho mais novo, havia feito,
25 And said, Cursed be Canaan: a seruant of seruants shall he be vnto his brethren.
25 exclamou: “Maldito seja Canaã! Que ele seja o servo mais insignificante de seus parentes!”.
26 He said moreouer, blessed be the Lord God of Shem, and let Canaan be his seruant.
26 E disse ainda: “Bendito seja o S e que Canaã seja servo de seu irmão!
27 God perswade Iapheth, that he may dwell in the tentes of Shem, and let Canaan be his seruant.
27 Que Deus amplie o território de Jafé! Que Jafé compartilhe da prosperidade de Sem e Canaã seja seu servo”.
28 And Noah liued after the flood three hundreth and fiftie yeeres.
28 Depois do dilúvio, Noé viveu mais 350 anos.
29 So all the dayes of Noah were nine hundreth and fiftie yeeres: and he died.
29 Viveu, ao todo, 950 anos e morreu.
