1 And God blessed Noah and his sonnes, and said to them, Bring foorth fruite, and multiplie, and replenish the earth.
1 E abençoou Deus a Noé e a seus filhos, e disse-lhes: Frutificai e multiplicai-vos e enchei a terra.
2 Also the feare of you, and the dread of you shalbe vpon euery beast of the earth, and vpon euery foule of the heauen, vpon all that moueth on the earth, and vpon all the fishes of the sea: into your hand are they deliuered.
2 E o temor de vós e o pavor de vós virão sobre todo o animal da terra, e sobre toda a ave dos céus; tudo o que se move sobre a terra, e todos os peixes do mar, nas vossas mãos são entregues.
3 Euery thing that moueth and liueth, shall be meate for you: as the greene herbe, haue I giuen you all things.
3 Tudo quanto se move, que é vivente, será para vosso mantimento; tudo vos tenho dado como a erva verde.
4 But flesh with the life thereof, I meane, with the blood thereof, shall ye not eate.
4 A carne, porém, com sua vida, isto é, com seu sangue, não comereis.
5 For surely I will require your blood, wherein your liues are: at the hand of euery beast will I require it: and at the hand of man, euen at the hand of a mans brother will I require the life of man.
5 Certamente requererei o vosso sangue, o sangue das vossas vidas; da mão de todo o animal o requererei; como também da mão do homem, e da mão do irmão de cada um requererei a vida do homem.
6 Who so sheadeth mans blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God hath he made man.
6 Quem derramar o sangue do homem, pelo homem o seu sangue será derramado; porque Deus fez o homem conforme a sua imagem.
7 But bring ye forth fruite and multiplie: grow plentifully in the earth, and increase therein.
7 Mas vós frutificai e multiplicai-vos; povoai abundantemente a terra, e multiplicai-vos nela.
8 God spake also to Noah and to his sonnes with him, saying,
8 E falou Deus a Noé e a seus filhos com ele, dizendo:
9 Behold, I, euen I establish my couenant with you, and with your seede after you,
9 E eu, eis que estabeleço a minha aliança convosco e com a vossa descendência depois de vós.
10 And with euery liuing creature that is with you, with the foule, with the cattell, and with euery beast of the earth with you, from all that goe out of the Arke, vnto euery beast of the earth.
10 E com toda a alma vivente, que convosco está, de aves, de gado, e de todo o animal da terra convosco; com todos que saíram da arca, até todo o animal da terra.
11 And my couenant will I establish with you, that from henceforth all flesh shall not be rooted out by ye waters of the flood, neither shall there be a flood to destroy the earth any more.
11 E eu convosco estabeleço a minha aliança, que não será mais destruída toda a carne pelas águas do dilúvio, e que não haverá mais dilúvio, para destruir a terra.
12 Then God saide, This is the token of the couenant which I make betweene me and you, and betweene euery liuing thing, that is with you vnto perpetuall generations.
12 E disse Deus: Este é o sinal da aliança que ponho entre mim e vós, e entre toda a alma vivente, que está convosco, por gerações eternas.
13 I haue set my bowe in the cloude, and it shalbe for a signe of the couenant betweene me and the earth.
13 O meu arco tenho posto nas nuvens; este será por sinal da aliança entre mim e a terra.
14 And when I shall couer the earth with a cloud, and the bowe shall be seene in the cloude,
14 E acontecerá que, quando eu trouxer nuvens sobre a terra, aparecerá o arco nas nuvens.
15 Then will I remember my couenant, which is betweene me and you, and betweene euery liuing thing in all flesh, and there shalbe no more waters of a flood to destroy all flesh.
15 Então me lembrarei da minha aliança, que está entre mim e vós, e entre toda a alma vivente de toda a carne; e as águas não se tornarão mais em dilúvio para destruir toda a carne.
16 Therefore the bowe shalbe in the cloude, that I may see it, and remember the euerlasting couenant betweene God, and euery liuing thing in all flesh that is vpon the earth.
16 E estará o arco nas nuvens, e eu o verei, para me lembrar da aliança eterna entre Deus e toda a alma vivente de toda a carne, que está sobre a terra.
17 God said yet to Noah, This is the signe of the couenant, which I haue established betweene me and all flesh that is vpon the earth.
17 E disse Deus a Noé: Este é o sinal da aliança que tenho estabelecido entre mim e entre toda a carne, que está sobre a terra.
18 Nowe the sonnes of Noah going foorth of the Arke, were Shem and Ham and Iapheth. And Ham is the father of Canaan.
18 E os filhos de Noé, que da arca saíram, foram Sem, Cão e Jafé; e Cão é o pai de Canaã.
19 These are the three sonnes of Noah, and of them was the whole earth ouerspred.
19 Estes três foram os filhos de Noé; e destes se povoou toda a terra.
20 Noah also began to be an husband man and planted a vineyard.
20 E começou Noé a ser lavrador da terra, e plantou uma vinha.
21 And he drunke of ye wine and was drunken, and was vncouered in the middes of his tent.
21 E bebeu do vinho, e embebedou-se; e descobriu-se no meio de sua tenda.
22 And when Ham the father of Canaan sawe the nakednesse of his father, he tolde his two brethren without.
22 E viu Cão, o pai de Canaã, a nudez do seu pai, e fê-lo saber a ambos seus irmãos no lado de fora.
23 Then tooke Shem and Iapheth a garment, and put it vpon both their shoulders, and went backwarde, and couered the nakednesse of their father with their faces backwarde: so they sawe not their fathers nakednesse.
23 Então tomaram Sem e Jafé uma capa, e puseram-na sobre ambos os seus ombros, e indo virados para trás, cobriram a nudez do seu pai, e os seus rostos estavam virados, de maneira que não viram a nudez do seu pai.
24 Then Noah awoke from his wine, and knew what his yonger sonne had done vnto him,
24 E despertou Noé do seu vinho, e soube o que seu filho menor lhe fizera.
25 And said, Cursed be Canaan: a seruant of seruants shall he be vnto his brethren.
25 E disse: Maldito seja Canaã; servo dos servos seja aos seus irmãos.
26 He said moreouer, blessed be the Lord God of Shem, and let Canaan be his seruant.
26 E disse: Bendito seja o Senhor Deus de Sem; e seja-lhe Canaã por servo.
27 God perswade Iapheth, that he may dwell in the tentes of Shem, and let Canaan be his seruant.
27 Alargue Deus a Jafé, e habite nas tendas de Sem; e seja-lhe Canaã por servo.
28 And Noah liued after the flood three hundreth and fiftie yeeres.
28 E viveu Noé, depois do dilúvio, trezentos e cinqüenta anos.
29 So all the dayes of Noah were nine hundreth and fiftie yeeres: and he died.
29 E foram todos os dias de Noé novecentos e cinqüenta anos, e morreu.
