1 Then Iaakob called his sonnes, and sayde, Gather your selues together, that I may tell you what shall come to you in the last dayes.
1 E Jacó chamou seus filhos e disse: Reuni-vos, para que eu possa vos dizer o que vos acontecerá nos últimos dias.
2 Gather your selues together, and heare, ye sonnes of Iaakob, and hearken vnto Israel your father.
2 Reuni-vos, e ouvi, filhos de Jacó, ouvi com atenção a Israel, vosso pai.
3 Reuben mine eldest sonne, thou art my might, and the beginning of my strength, the excellencie of dignitie, and the excellencie of power:
3 Rúben, tu és o meu primogênito, minha força, e o princípio do meu vigor, a excelência da dignidade, e a excelência do poder.
4 Thou wast light as water: thou shalt not be excellent, because thou wentest vp to thy fathers bed: then diddest thou defile my bed, thy dignitie is gone.
4 Instável como a água, não serás superior, porquanto subiste à cama de teu pai, e então a contaminaste. Ele subiu à minha cama.
5 Simeon and Leui, brethren in euill, the instruments of crueltie are in their habitations.
5 Simeão e Levi são irmãos; instrumentos de crueldade são em suas habitações.
6 Into their secret let not my soule come: my glory, be not thou ioyned with their assembly: for in their wrath they slew a man, and in their selfe will they digged downe a wall.
6 Oh! Minha alma, não entres no conselho secreto deles; minha honra não se una com a sua assembleia. Porque na sua ira mataram um homem, e na sua fúria derrubaram um muro.
7 Cursed be their wrath, for it was fierce, and their rage, for it was cruell: I will deuide them in Iaakob, and scatter them in Israel.
7 Maldito seja seu furor, pois foi violento; e a sua ira, pois foi cruel. Eu os dividirei em Jacó, e os espalharei em Israel.
8 Thou Iudah, thy brethre shall praise thee: thine hande shalbe in the necke of thine enemies: thy fathers sonnes shall bowe downe vnto thee.
8 Judá, tu és aquele que teus irmãos louvarão. Tua mão estará no pescoço dos teus inimigos; os filhos de teu pai se curvarão diante de ti.
9 Iudah, as a Lions whelpe shalt thou come vp from the spoyle, my sonne. He shall lye downe and couche as a Lion, and as a Lionesse: Who shall stirre him vp?
9 Judá é um filhote de um leão; da presa tu subiste, meu filho. Curva-se e deita-se como um leão, e como um leão velho. Quem o despertará?
10 The scepter shall not depart from Iudah, nor a Lawegiuer from betweene his feete, vntill Shiloh come, and the people shall be gathered vnto him.
10 O cetro não se afastará de Judá, nem o legislador dentre seus pés, até que venha Siló. E a ele se congregarão os povos.
11 He shall binde his Asse foale vnto ye vine, and his Asses colte vnto the best vine. hee shall wash his garment in wine, and his cloke in the blood of grapes.
11 Amarra seu jumentinho à videira, e o filhote de sua jumenta à videira escolhida. Ele lavou suas vestes no vinho, e sua capa no sangue de uvas.
12 His eyes shalbe red with wine, and his teeth white with milke.
12 Seus olhos serão vermelhos de vinho, e os seus dentes brancos de leite.
13 Zebulun shall dwell by the sea side, and he shalbe an hauen for shippes: and his border shalbe vnto Zidon.
13 Zebulom habitará no porto do mar, e ele será como um porto para os navios; e sua fronteira será em Sidom.
14 Issachar shalbe a strong asse, couching downe betweene two burdens:
14 Issacar é um jumento forte, deitado entre dois fardos.
15 And he shall see that rest is good, and that the land is pleasant, and he shall bow his shoulder to beare, and shalbe subiect vnto tribute.
15 E ele viu que o descanso era bom, e que a terra era prazerosa. E curvou seu ombro para carregar, e se tornou um servo de tributo.
16 Dan shall iudge his people as one of the tribes of Israel.
16 Dã julgará seu povo, como uma das tribos de Israel.
17 Dan shall be a serpent by the way, an adder by the path, byting the horse heeles, so that his rider shall fall backward.
17 Dã será uma serpente junto ao caminho, uma víbora junto à vereda, que morde os calcanhares do cavalo, de modo que seu cavaleiro cairá para trás.
18 O Lord, I haue waited for thy saluation.
18 Eu tenho esperado pela tua salvação, ó SENHOR.
19 Gad, an hoste of men shall ouercome him, but he shall ouercome at the last.
19 Gade, uma tropa o suplantará, mas no final ele prevalecerá.
20 Concerning Asher, his bread shalbe fat, and he shall giue pleasures for a king.
20 De Aser seu pão será gordura, e ele produzirá delícias reais.
21 Naphtali shalbe a hinde let goe, giuing goodly wordes.
21 Naftali é uma cerva solta; ele dá palavras bondosas.
22 Ioseph shalbe a fruitefull bough, euen a fruitful bough by the well side: the small boughs shall runne vpon the wall.
22 José é um ramo frutífero, um ramo frutífero junto à fonte, cujos ramos correm sobre o muro.
23 And the archers grieued him, and shotte against him and hated him.
23 Os arqueiros o amarguraram, e atiraram nele, e o odiaram,
24 But his bowe abode strong, and the hands of his armes were strengthened, by the handes of the mighty God of Iaakob, of whom was the feeder appointed, by the stone of Israel,
24 mas o seu arco habitou na força, e os braços das suas mãos foram fortalecidos pelas mãos do Deus poderoso de Jacó; (de lá é o pastor, a rocha de Israel),
25 Euen by the God of thy father, who shall helpe thee, and by the almightie, who shall blesse thee with heauenly blessinges from aboue, with blessings of the deepe, that lyeth beneath, with blessings of the brestes, and of the wombe.
25 pelo Deus de teu pai, que te ajudará, e pelo Todo-Poderoso, que te abençoará com bênçãos do céu acima, bênçãos da profundeza que está abaixo, bênçãos dos peitos e do útero.
26 The blessings of thy father shalbe stronger then the blessings of mine elders: vnto the ende of the hilles of the worlde they shall be on the head of Ioseph, and on the top of the head of him that was separate from his brethren.
26 As bênçãos de teu pai prevalecerão sobre as bênçãos dos meus progenitores, até os últimos limites das colinas eternas. Elas estarão sobre a cabeça de José, e na coroa da cabeça daquele que esteve separado de seus irmãos.
27 Beniamin shall rauine as a wolfe: in the morning he shall deuoure the pray, and at night he shall deuide the spoyle.
27 Benjamim saqueará como um lobo; pela manhã ele devorará a presa e à noite dividirá o despojo.
28 All these are the twelue tribes of Israel, and thus their father spake vnto them, and blessed them: euery one of them blessed hee with a seuerall blessing.
28 Todas estas são as doze tribos de Israel, e isto foi o que seu pai lhes falou, e os abençoou, cada um de acordo com sua bênção ele os abençoou.
29 And he charged them and sayd vnto them, I am ready to be gathered vnto my people: burie mee with my fathers in the caue, that is in the fielde of Ephron the Hittite,
29 E ele lhes ordenou, e lhes disse: Eu serei reunido ao meu povo; sepultai-me com meus pais na caverna que está no campo de Efrom, o heteu,
30 In the caue that is in the field of Machpelah besides Mamre in the land of Canaan: which caue Abraham bought with the fielde of Ephron the Hittite for a possession to burie in.
30 na caverna que está no campo de Macpela, que está diante de Manre, na terra de Canaã, que Abraão comprou com o campo de Efrom, o heteu, como uma possessão para um lugar de sepultamento.
31 There they buried Abraham and Sarah his wife: there they buryed Izhak and Rebekah his wife: and there I buried Leah.
31 Ali eles sepultaram Abraão e Sara, sua esposa; ali sepultaram Isaque e Rebeca, sua esposa; e ali eu sepultei Lia.
32 The purchase of the fielde and the caue that is therein, was bought of the children of Heth.
32 A compra do campo e da caverna que está nele foi dos filhos de Hete.
33 Thus Iaakob made an end of giuing charge to his sonnes, and plucked vp his feete into the bed and gaue vp the ghost, and was gathered to his people.
33 E quando Jacó terminou de dar ordens a seus filhos, ele recolheu seus pés dentro da cama, e rendeu o espírito, e foi reunido ao seu povo.
