1 These are the sonnes of Israel, Reuben, Simeon, Leui and Iudah, Isshachar, and Zebulun,
1 Jacó foi pai de doze filhos: Rúben, Simeão, Levi, Judá, Issacar, Zebulom,
2 Dan, Ioseph, and Beniamin, Naphtali, Gad, and Asher.
2 Dã, José, Benjamim, Naftali, Gade e Aser.
3 The sonnes of Iudah, Er, and Onan, and Shelah. these three were borne to him of ye daughter of Shua the Canaanite: but Er the eldest sonne of Iudah was euil in the sight of the Lord, and he slew him.
3 Judá foi pai de cinco filhos ao todo. A sua mulher cananeia, que se chamava Bate-Sua, lhe deu três filhos: Er, Onã e Selá. Er, o filho mais velho, era tão mau, que o Senhor Deus o matou.
4 And Thamar his daughter in law bare him Pharez, and Zerah: so al the sonnes of Iudah were fiue.

5 The sonnes of Pharez, Hezron and Hamul.
5 Peres foi pai de dois filhos: Hezrom e Hamul.
6 The sonnes also of Zerah were Zimri, and Ethan, and Heman, and Calcol, and Dara, which were fiue in all.
6 Zera foi pai de cinco filhos: Zinri, Etã, Hemã, Calcol e Dara.
7 And the sonne of Carmi, Achar that troubled Israel, transgressing in the thing excommunicate.

10 And Ram begate Aminadab, and Aminadab begate Nahshon prince of the children of Iudah,

11 And Nahshon begate Salma, and Salma begate Boaz,

13 And Ishai begate his eldest sonne Eliab, and Abinadab the second, and Shimma the third,

17 And Abigail bare Amasa: and the father of Amasa was Iether an Ishmeelite.
17 Abigail casou com Jéter, que era descendente de Ismael, e eles tiveram um filho chamado Amasa.
18 And Caleb the sonne of Hezron begate Ierioth of Azubah his wife, and her sonnes are these, Iesher, and Shobab, and Ardon.
18 Calebe, filho de Hezrom, casou com Azuba, e eles tiveram uma filha chamada Jeriote. Ela teve três filhos: Jeser, Sobabe e Ardom.
19 And when Azubah was dead, Caleb tooke vnto him Ephrath, which bare him Hur.

20 And Hur begate Vri, and Vri begate Bezaleel.

21 And afterward came Hezron to the daughter of Machir the father of Gilead, and tooke her when hee was threescore yere olde, and shee bare him Segub.
21 Quando Hezrom tinha sessenta anos de idade, casou com a filha de Maquir, a irmã de Gileade. Eles tiveram um filho chamado Segube,
22 And Segub begate Iair, which had three and twentie cities in the land of Gilead.
22 e Segube foi pai de um filho chamado Jair. Jair governou vinte e três cidades na região de Gileade.
23 And Gesthur with Aram tooke the townes of Iair from them, and Kenath and the townes thereof, euen threescore cities. All these were the sonnes of Machir the father of Gilead.
23 Mas os reinos de Gesur e Arã conquistaram sessenta cidades dali, incluindo as aldeias de Jair e a cidade de Quenate e os seus povoados. Todas as pessoas que moravam ali eram descendentes de Maquir, o pai de Gileade.
24 And after that Hezron was dead at Caleb Ephratah, then Abiah Hezrons wife bare him also Ashur the father of Tekoa.

26 Also Ierahmeel had another wife named Atarah, which was the mother of Onam.

29 And the name of the wife of Abishur was called Abiahil, and shee bare him Ahban and Molid.
29 Abisur casou com uma mulher chamada Abiail, e eles tiveram dois filhos, que se chamavam Abã e Molide.
30 The sonnes also of Nadab were Seled and Appaim: but Seled died without children.
30 Nadabe foi pai de dois filhos, que se chamavam Selede e Apaim. Selede morreu sem ter tido filhos,
31 And the sonne of Appaim was Ishi, and the sonne of Ishi, Sheshan, and the sonne of Sheshan, Ahlai.
31 e Apaim foi pai de Isi, Isi foi pai de Sesã, e Sesã foi pai de Alai.
32 And the sonnes of Iada the brother of Shammai were Iether and Ionathan: but Iether dyed without children.
32 Jada, o irmão de Samai, foi pai de dois filhos, que se chamavam Jéter e Jônatas. Jéter morreu sem ter tido filhos,
33 And the sonnes of Ionathan were Peleth and Zaza. These were the sonnes of Ierahmeel.
33 e Jônatas foi pai de dois filhos: Pelete e Zaza. Todos esses foram descendentes de Jerameel.
34 And Sheshan had no sonnes, but daughters. And Sheshan had a seruant that was an Egyptian named Iarha.
34 Sesã não teve filhos; só filhas. Ele tinha um escravo egípcio que se chamava Jara.
35 And Sheshan gaue his daughter to Iarha his seruant to wife, and she bare him Attai.

36 And Attai begate Nathan, and Nathan begate Zabad,

41 And Shallum begate Iekamiah, and Iekamiah begate Elishama.
41 Salum foi pai de Jecamias, e Jecamias foi pai de Elisama.
42 Also the sonnes of Caleb the brother of Ierahmeel, were Mesha his eldest sonne, which was the father of Ziph: and the sonnes of Mareshah the father of Hebron.
42 O filho mais velho de Calebe, irmão de Jerameel, se chamava Messa. Messa foi pai de Zife, Zife foi pai de Maressa, e Maressa foi pai de Hebrom.
43 And the sonnes of Hebron were Korah and Tappuah, and Rekem and Shema.
43 Hebrom foi pai de quatro filhos: Corá, Tapua, Requém e Sema.
44 And Shema begate Raham the father of Iorkoam: and Rekem begate Shammai.
44 Sema foi pai de Raão e avô de Jorqueão. Requém foi pai de Samai,
45 The sonne also of Shammai was Maon: and Maon was the father of Beth-zur.
45 Samai foi pai de Maom, e Maom foi pai de Bete-Zur.
46 And Ephah a concubine of Caleb bare Haran and Moza, and Gazez: Haran also begate Gazez.
46 Calebe tinha uma concubina chamada Efa, e ela lhe deu mais três filhos: Harã, Mosa e Gazez. Harã também foi pai de um filho chamado Gazez.
47 The sonnes of Iahdai were Regem, and Iotham, and Geshan, and Pelet, and Ephah, and Shaaph.
47 (Um homem chamado Jadai foi pai de seis filhos: Regém, Jotão, Gesã, Pelete, Efa e Saafe.)
48 Calebs concubine Maachah bare Sheber and Tirhanah.
48 Calebe tinha outra concubina, chamada Maacá, que lhe deu dois filhos: Seber e Tiraná.
49 She bare also Shaaph, the father of Madmannah, and Sheua the father of Machbenah, and the father of Gibea. And Achsah was Calebs daughter.

50 These were the sonnes of Caleb the sone of Hur the eldest sonne of Ephrathah, Shobal the father of Kiriath-iearim.

51 Salma the father of Beth-lehem, and Hareph the father of Beth-gader.
51 Salma, o seu segundo filho, fundou a cidade de Belém, e Harefe, o terceiro, fundou Bete-Gader.
52 And Shobal the father of Kiriath-iearim had sonnes, and he was the ouerseer of halfe Hammenoth.
52 Sobal, que fundou Quiriate-Jearim, foi o antepassado do povo de Haroé e de metade dos moradores de Menuote.
53 And the families of Kiriath-iearim were the Ithrites, and the Puthites, and the Shumathites, and ye Mishraites of them came the Zarreathites, and the Eshtaulites.

55 And the families of the Scribes dwelling at Iabez, the Tirathites, the Shimmeathites, the Shuchathites, which are the Kenites, that came of Hammath the father of the house of Rechab.
