Uwien ya Jɔtiefɛ̀nku ya gbɔnku (GNGNT) vs VC
1 *Yesu tí pɔn' bɛ mikpɛnjɛnm ki ye:
1 Jesus tornou a falar-lhes por meio de parábolas:
2 «Uwien ya *bɛl naan ubɛr wà tien' uʼbijɛ ya piikuɔn,
2 The kingdom of the heavens has become like a king who made a wedding feast for his son,
3 ki sɔn' uʼtonsɔnb bɛ ń tì yin binib bà u yíe bɛ ń baa kí lá ji nnɔ nɛ. Bi yin' bɛ, nɛ bi yìe' ka baa'.
3 and sent his bondmen to call the persons invited to the wedding feast, and they would not come.
4 Nɛ u tí sɔn' bitonsɔntɔb bɛ ń tì tɔke bɛ kí ye u bonde' uʼjier kɛ ki gben'-a. U kòre' uʼnajɛ nin uʼwɛnkobr tà gbenge, ki bonde' tibont kɛ ki gben'-a, ki ye bɛ ń baa ní,
4 Again he sent other bondmen, saying, Say to the persons invited, Behold, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and my fatted beasts are killed, and all things ready; come to the wedding feast.
5 nɛ ba tɔnge'. Biba bure' biʼkpàan bó, bitɔb mɔ bure' biʼkpenkpende.
5 But they made light of it, and went, one to his own land, and another to his commerce.
6 Bà sìen' nnɔ cuo' bitonsɔnb nnɔ, ki jɛ̀nde' bɛ, ki ku' bɛ.
6 And the rest, laying hold of his bondmen, ill-treated and slew {them}.
7 Ubɛr nnɔ ya benku ni ben' ki gbien', nɛ u sɔn' uʼsojambɛ, bi tì ku' binikub nnɔ, ki sɛ' biʼdu.
7 And {when} the king {heard of it he} was wroth, and having sent his forces, destroyed those murderers and burned their city.
8 Nɛ u tɔke' uʼtonsɔnb ki ye: ‹Upiikuɔn ya jier bonde'-a. Ama binib bà n yin' bɛ nnɔ ŋa kpɛ bɛ ń ji tijier nnɔ.
8 Then he says to his bondmen, The wedding feast is ready, but those invited were not worthy;
9 Li joh mɛn udu ni nin isɛnnaan, kí tì yin ní ni li lɛ binib bà kɛ, bɛ ń baa kí lá ji upiikuɔn ya jier nnɔ.›
9 go therefore into the thoroughfares of the highways, and as many as ye shall find invite to the wedding feast.
10 Nɛ uʼtonsɔnb nnɔ jon' udu ni nin isɛnnaan, ki tì yin' ní bi laa' bà nnɔ kɛ, bà mɔn nin bà bre kɛ. Nɛ bi baa' ki gbe kuduku kùa bi jinh tijier kuʼni nnɔ.
10 And those bondmen went out into the highways, and brought together all as many as they found, both evil and good; and the wedding feast was furnished with guests.
11 «Ubɛr kɔn' wɔ ń liike binib bà baa' bɛ ń ji tijier nnɔ, nɛ ki laa' ujɛ uba ŋa guo upiikuɔn nnɔ ya kpɛlcɛr.
11 And the king, having gone in to see the guests, beheld there a man not clothed with a wedding garment.
12 Nɛ u niire' wɔ ki ye: ‹Nʼjɔ, a tien' mila ki kɔn' ní niɛ saan, ka guo piikuɔn ya kpɛlcɛr-i?› Nɛ wa jiin' wɔ.
12 And he says to him, {My} friend, how camest thou in here not having on a wedding garment? But he was speechless.
13 Nɛ ubɛr nnɔ tɔke' uʼtonsɔnb ki ye bɛ ń cuo wɔ, kí lòle uʼnuɔ nin uʼtàan, kí ñɛn wɔ kí tì wiɛ saali licinñunl ni. Nɛn saan nɛ u li te ki muɔh, ki ŋmɔnh iñɔgbɛn.
13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him feet and hands, and take him away, and cast him out into the outer darkness: there shall be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth.
14 Kimɛ binib bà Uwien yih bɛ nnɔ yɛbe nɛ, ama u gɛ̀ndeh bà nnɔ nɛ ŋa yɛbe.»
14 For many are called ones, but few chosen ones.
15 Tɔ, *Farisiɛnmbɛ jon' ki tì taan' ki gbiere' ki liike' bi li tien ma kí dɛle kí cuo *Yesu miyɛnfuom ni.

16 Nɛ ki sɔn' biʼpanpaankaab nin ubɛr Herod yaab ya biba *Yesu saan. Nɛ bi tì tɔke' wɔ ki ye: «Cɛnbaa, ti bɛn ki ye a tɔkeh tigbɛmɔ̀nt nɛ, ki wɔngeh tɛ Uwien ya sɛn mɔnmɔnm, ka fɛnge uba, ka boh uba ki cɛn' utɔ.
16 And they send out to him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Teacher, we know that thou art true and teachest the way of God in truth, and carest not for any one, for thou regardest not men's person;
17 Nɛn bo, tɔke tɛ a maaleh ma bo. Ti ŋmɔbe usɛn tí li pɛ̀h lɛnpo ki dienh ubɛrciɛn Sesa bii ta ŋmɔbe?»
17 tell us therefore what thou thinkest: Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not?
18 *Yesu bɛn biʼcekn kpɛ ma bo, nɛ ki tɔke' bɛ ki ye: «Ninbi iñuɔn ilele ya nibɛ, bɛ tien' ni bìkreh nni?
18 But Jesus, knowing their wickedness, said, Why tempt ye me, hypocrites?
19 Wuɔn nni mɛn lɛnpo ya likbu.» Bi taa' milikbim miba ki wuɔn' wɔ nɛ,
19 Shew me the money of the tribute. And they presented to him a denarius.
20 u niire' bɛ ki ye: «Ŋmɛ ya nɛnnɛnku nin uʼyel te miʼbo?»
20 And he says to them, Whose {is} this image and superscription?
21 Bi ye: «Ubɛrciɛn Sesa,» nɛ u ye: «Taa mɛn nà yé Sesa yaann kí de Sesa, kí taa nà mɔ yé Uwien yaann kí de Uwien.»
21 They say to him, Caesar's. Then he says to them, Pay then what is Caesar's to Caesar, and what is God's to God.
22 Bi cii' nnɔ ma nnɔ, nì cuo' bɛ miyɔkm cɛɛn, nɛ bi dàan' wɔ ki bure'.
22 And when they heard {him}, they wondered, and left him, and went away.
23 Nɛn daali nɛ Saduseyɛnmbɛ biba baa' *Yesu saan. Bɛn nɛ lienh ki teh bitɛnkpiib ŋa ń mɛkre nnɔ. Bi niire' wɔ iniire

24 saying, Teacher, Moses said, If any one die, not having children, his brother shall marry his wife and shall raise up seed to his brother.
25 Tɔ, ninjiɛb bilole biba nɛ là te tiʼni, nɛ ukpiɛk lá kuɔn' upii, ki kpo' ka maa' buk. Nɛ ulie kere' ukpopii nnɔ,
25 Now there were with us seven brethren; and the first having married died, and not having seed, left his wife to his brother.
26 ki mɔ kpo' ka maa' buk. Wà tɔ uʼbo nnɔ mɔ tien' nnɔ. Biʼkɛ bilole tien' nnɔ, ki kpo' ka maa' buk.
26 In like manner also the second and the third, unto the seven.
27 Nɛ upii nnɔ mɔ tì tonde' ki kpo'.
27 And last of all the woman also died.
28 Tɔ, bitɛnkpiib lá mɛkre' uyo wà la, ŋmɛ li si upii nnɔ? Kimɛ biʼkɛ kuɔn' wɔ ki tì bòn' nɛ.»
28 In the resurrection therefore of which of the seven shall she be wife, for all had her?
29 Nɛ *Yesu jiin' bɛ ki ye: «Na bɛn nà kɛle' *Uwien ya gbɔnku ni, ka bɛn Uwien ya tuɔm kpɛ ma bo. Nɛn nɛ cèreh ni tùreh.
29 And Jesus answering said to them, Ye err, not knowing the scriptures nor the power of God.
30 Bitɛnkpiib lá mɛkre' la, jɛb ŋa ń kuɔn piib, piib mɔ ŋa ń kun cɛr. Bi li te tɛn *Uwien ya tondb nɛ paaki bó.
30 For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are as angels of God in heaven.
31 Bitɛnkpiib ya mɛkrm mɛn la, na kaan' Uwien là tɔke' nɛ tigbɛr tà nnɔ nɛ-ɛɛ?
31 Quanto à ressurreição dos mortos, não lestes o que Deus vos disse:
32 U là ye: ‹Min nɛ yé *Abraham nin *Isaak nin *Sakɔb ya Wien.› Uwien ŋa yé tɛnkpiib ya Wien, u yé bà fuobe ya Wien nɛ.»
32 Eu sou o Deus de Abraão, o Deus de Isaac e o Deus de Jacó {Ex 3,6}? Ora, ele não é Deus dos mortos, mas Deus dos vivos.
33 Linigol nnɔ cii' *Yesu tɔke' bɛ nnɔ ma nnɔ, nɛ nì cuo' bɛ miyɔkm cɛɛn.
33 E, ouvindo esta doutrina, as turbas se enchiam de grande admiração.
34 *Farisiɛnmbɛ cii' *Yesu len' ki jin' *Saduseyɛnmbɛ, nɛ ki taan' uʼsaan.
34 Sabendo os fariseus que Jesus reduzira ao silêncio os saduceus, reuniram-se
35 Biʼni bà bɛn yiko mɔnmɔnm nnɔ ya uba, nuunh wɔ ń dɛle kí cuo *Yesu nɛ ki niire' wɔ ki ye:
35 e um deles, doutor da lei, fez-lhe esta pergunta para pô-lo à prova:
36 «Cɛnbaa, yiko ya gbɔnku ni, li lɛ wɔbl cɛn' wɔbl kɛ wɔbl-i?»
36 Mestre, qual é o maior mandamento da lei?
37 Nɛ *Yesu tɔke' wɔ ki ye: « ‹Li yíe aʼYonbdaan Uwien nin aʼfɛ̀l kɛ nin aʼtetem kɛ nin aʼyɛnmaale kɛ.›
37 Respondeu Jesus: Amarás o Senhor teu Deus de todo teu coração, de toda tua alma e de todo teu espírito {Dt 6,5}.
38 Lɛn nɛ yé liwɔbkpiɛkl ki cɛn' wɔbl kɛ wɔbl.
38 Este é o maior e o primeiro mandamento.
39 Liwɔbliel naan likpiɛkl là sɔ: ‹Li yíe aʼtɔ tɛn a yíe aʼba ma bo.›
39 E o segundo, semelhante a este, é: Amarás teu próximo como a ti mesmo {Lv 19,18}.
40 Moyis ya gbɔnt kɛ nin *Uwien ya ñɔbonsɔknb là len' nà kɛ nnɔ te iwɔb ile yà ni sɔ.»
40 Nesses dois mandamentos se resumem toda a lei e os profetas.
41 *Farisiɛnmbɛ taan' ma nnɔ, nɛ *Yesu niire' bɛ
41 Como os fariseus se agrupassem, Jesus interrogou-os:
42 ki ye: «Ni maaleh *Uwien ya Nigɛndkɛ Kristo bo ki teh ba? Ŋmɛ ya yaabil si wɔ?» Nɛ bi ye: «*Dafid ya yaabil nɛ.»
42 Que pensais vós de Cristo? De quem é filho? Responderam: De Davi!
43 Nɛ u ye: «U yé *Dafid ya yaabil la, nì tien' mila, *Mifuoñaanm là cère' *Dafid yin' wɔ Yonbdaan-i? Kimɛ *Dafid là len' ki ye:
43 Como então, prosseguiu Jesus, Davi, falando sob inspiração do Espírito, chama-o Senhor, dizendo:
44 ‹Yonbdaan Uwien tɔke' nʼYonbdaan ki ye:
44 O Senhor disse a meu Senhor: Senta-te à minha direita, até que eu ponha teus inimigos por escabelo dos teus pés {Sl 109,1}?
45 «*Dafid là yin' Uwien ya Nigɛndkɛ Kristo uʼYonbdaan la, u ji tien' mila ki liɛbe' ki yé uʼyaabil-i?»
45 Se, pois, Davi o chama Senhor, como é ele seu filho?
46 *Yesu len' nnɔ ma nnɔ, uba mɔnɔn ŋa fre' ki laa' ñɔbonl ki jiin' wɔ. Kí ñɛ nɛn daali ma, uba ŋa ji kaabe' ki niire' wɔ niire.
46 Ninguém pôde responder-lhe nada. E, depois daquele dia, ninguém mais ousou interrogá-lo.
