1 Qasseka Yesusi hara leemiso
1 Jesus tornou a falar-lhes por meio de parábolas:
2 “Salo Kawotethi ba naas sarge giigissida issi kawo misatawus.
2 The kingdom of the heavens has become like a king who made a wedding feast for his son,
3 Kawoykka diggissas yootidayta xeeyganas ba ashkarata yeddides; xeeygettidaytikka ‘Nu bookko’ gida.
3 and sent his bondmen to call the persons invited to the wedding feast, and they would not come.
4 “Qasseka hara ashkarata ‘Kase istas yootidayta hekko ta sanga booratanne modhida meheta shukada diggisa giigissadis; wurikka giigettida gish sargeso haa yiite!’ giidi yootite.
4 Again he sent other bondmen, saying, Say to the persons invited, Behold, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and my fatted beasts are killed, and all things ready; come to the wedding feast.
5 Xeeygettidayti gidikko iza xeeyssa wudan yeggonta aggidi issoy ba goshshaso, issoy ba zal7eso bides.
5 But they made light of it, and went, one to his own land, and another to his commerce.
6 Hanko attidayta, ashkarati oykkidi daro waayssidi wodhida.
6 And the rest, laying hold of his bondmen, ill-treated and slew {them}.
7 “Kawoykka hanqettidi wotadarata yeddidi ashkara wodhidayta dhayssides; ista katama xuugides.
7 And {when} the king {heard of it he} was wroth, and having sent his forces, destroyed those murderers and burned their city.
8 Ba ashkarataka ‘Sargeza diggisey giigides; gido attin sargezaso xeeygettidayti sarges bessizayta gidibeetenna.
8 Then he says to his bondmen, The wedding feast is ready, but those invited were not worthy;
9 Gede oge bolla kezidi inte demmida as wursi ha sarge diggisses xeygite’ gides.
9 go therefore into the thoroughfares of the highways, and as many as ye shall find invite to the wedding feast.
10 Ashkaratikka oge bolla kezidi ba demmidayta lo7otaka iitataka wursi shiishshidi sargezaso imath kunthida.
10 And those bondmen went out into the highways, and brought together all as many as they found, both evil and good; and the wedding feast was furnished with guests.
11 “Kawoykka xeeygettida imatha beyanas so geliza wode sarge may7o may7onta as demmides.
11 And the king, having gone in to see the guests, beheld there a man not clothed with a wedding garment.
12 ‘Haysso! Sarge may7o may7onta waanada hayssa gelanas dandayadii?’ gi oychin addezas zaarana qaalay dhayides.
12 And he says to him, {My} friend, how camest thou in here not having on a wedding garment? But he was speechless.
13 Kawoykka ba ashkarata ‘Hayssa addeza tohonne kushe shiishshi qachidi heen karen diza dhuman kessi olite; heen yeehonne achcha garcech gidana.’
13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him feet and hands, and take him away, and cast him out into the outer darkness: there shall be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth.
14 “Xeeygettidayti darota; doorettidayti gidikko guuthata” gi yootides.
14 For many are called ones, but few chosen ones.
15 Hessafe guye Farsaaweeti kezi bishe “Iza duunappe bala qaala wosti demmi oykkinoo?” giidi zorettida.

16 Bana kaallizayta Herdoosa asatara izakko kiittidi “Astamare! Neni tumanchanne Xoossa oge tumappe tamarsizade gididayssanne oonaska dumma maado ooththonta wursaka issi mala ne xeellizayssa nu eroos.
16 And they send out to him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Teacher, we know that thou art true and teachest the way of God in truth, and carest not for any one, for thou regardest not men's person;
17 Nees ay misatizakkone ane nuus yootaa? Qeesares giira qanxanas bessizee? Bessenee?” gida.
17 tell us therefore what thou thinkest: Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not?
18 Yesusikka ista gene qofa eridi “Inteno qoodheppe qommon hanizayto tana yo7on baleththi oykkanas aazas koyetii?
18 But Jesus, knowing their wickedness, said, Why tempt ye me, hypocrites?
19 Inte giira qanxiza miisha ane tana bessite” giin istika issi dinare geetettiza miish izas ehida.
19 Shew me the money of the tribute. And they presented to him a denarius.
20 Izikka “Hayssa miisha bolla diza misileynne xaafettida sunthay oonayssee?” gides.
20 And he says to them, Whose {is} this image and superscription?
21 Istika izas “Qeesareyssa” gida. Izikka istas zaaridi “Qeesareyssa Qeesares, Xoossayssa Xoossas immite” gides.
21 They say to him, Caesar's. Then he says to them, Pay then what is Caesar's to Caesar, and what is God's to God.
22 Hessa siyida wode malaletidinne iza aggi bida.
22 And when they heard {him}, they wondered, and left him, and went away.
23 “Hayqqidaytas dendoy baawa” giidi ammaniza Saduqaaweti he gallas Yesusakko shiiqidi,

24 “Astamaare! Musey ‘Issadey macho ekkidi naa yelonta hayqqikko iza ishay hayqqidayssa macho ekkidi ba isha laattiza naa izas yelo’ gides.
24 saying, Teacher, Moses said, If any one die, not having children, his brother shall marry his wife and shall raise up seed to his brother.
25 Nu achchan laapun ishati deettes shin koyro ishay macho ekkidi naa yelonta hayqqida gish kaalo ishay iza macheyo ekides.
25 Now there were with us seven brethren; and the first having married died, and not having seed, left his wife to his brother.
26 Nam7antho ishayka hayqqida ishaatho naa yelonta hayqqides; hessathoka hanishin macasaya laapuntha isha geladus.
26 In like manner also the second and the third, unto the seven.
27 Wursethan macasaya hayqqadus.
27 And last of all the woman also died.
28 Hessa gish laapunati wurikka izo ekkida shin hayqoppe dentha gallas macasaya laapuntappe awayssa macho gidanee?” gida.
28 In the resurrection therefore of which of the seven shall she be wife, for all had her?
29 Yesusikka istas zaaridi “Geeshsha Maxaafatanne Xoossa wolqa inte eronta gish baletteta.
29 And Jesus answering said to them, Ye err, not knowing the scriptures nor the power of God.
30 Hayqoppe dendidappe guye asay salo kiitanchata mala gidana attin eketettenanne geletenna.
30 For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are as angels of God in heaven.

31 Quanto à ressurreição dos mortos, não lestes o que Deus vos disse:

32 Eu sou o Deus de Abraão, o Deus de Isaac e o Deus de Jacó {Ex 3,6}? Ora, ele não é Deus dos mortos, mas Deus dos vivos.

37 Respondeu Jesus: Amarás o Senhor teu Deus de todo teu coração, de toda tua alma e de todo teu espírito {Dt 6,5}.

38 Este é o maior e o primeiro mandamento.

39 E o segundo, semelhante a este, é: Amarás teu próximo como a ti mesmo {Lv 19,18}.

40 Nesses dois mandamentos se resumem toda a lei e os profetas.

41 Como os fariseus se agrupassem, Jesus interrogou-os:
42 “Kirstoosa gish inte ay geetii? Izi oona naa?” gi oychides; Istika izas zaaridi “Izi Dawute naa” gida.
42 Que pensais vós de Cristo? De quem é filho? Responderam: De Davi!

43 Como então, prosseguiu Jesus, Davi, falando sob inspiração do Espírito, chama-o Senhor, dizendo:

44 O Senhor disse a meu Senhor: Senta-te à minha direita, até que eu ponha teus inimigos por escabelo dos teus pés {Sl 109,1}?
45 Hessa gish Dawutey iza ‘Ta Goda’ giidi xeygikko waanidi izas naa gidana dandayizee?”
45 Se, pois, Davi o chama Senhor, como é ele seu filho?
46 Izas issi qaala zaarana dandayida asi woykko he gallassafe simmin iza oysho oychana xalida asi oonikka bettibenna.
46 Ninguém pôde responder-lhe nada. E, depois daquele dia, ninguém mais ousou interrogá-lo.
