3 Pois nós, os que cremos, entramos em seu descanso. Quanto aos demais, Deus disse: “Assim, jurei em minha ira: ‘Jamais entrarão em meu descanso’”, embora suas obras estejam prontas desde a criação do mundo.

12 for the word of{the God} [is] being-alive and workable/active/operative and more-cutting/more-slicing/sharper/more-incisive over every double-edged knife and being-penetrated even-to of{division} both of{life} and of{spirit/breathe-effect} both of{joints/junctures} and of{marrows} and judge-ive/ious/discerning/[translit. critic-al/critique-ous] of{in-desires} and of{in-mind/thinkings} of{heart},
12 Pois a palavra de Deus é viva e poderosa. É mais cortante que qualquer espada de dois gumes, penetrando entre a alma e o espírito, entre a junta e a medula, e trazendo à luz até os pensamentos e desejos mais íntimos.
13 and [there]is_not_being [a] creation unrevealed[adjective] in-sight of{same}; moreover, all [are] naked and having-been-neck-ized[i.e. seized by the neck] to{the eyes} of{same}, toward whom to{us} [is] the word/account/reckoning.
13 Nada, em toda a criação, está escondido de Deus. Tudo está descoberto e exposto diante de seus olhos, e é a ele que prestamos contas.
14 So, having [a] great chief-consecrated[i.e. chief priest] having-come-through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of{the God}, we-may-be-seizing/holding of{the same-word-ia/acknowledgement/accordance/agreement},
14 Visto, portanto, que temos um grande Sumo Sacerdote que entrou no céu, Jesus, o Filho de Deus, apeguemo-nos firmemente àquilo em que cremos.

16 Assim, aproximemo-nos com toda confiança do trono da graça, onde receberemos misericórdia e encontraremos graça para nos ajudar quando for preciso.
