1 If-supposing I-may-be-speaking to{the tongues} of{the men}, and of{the messengers}, moreover I-may_not_be-having love, I-have-become copper audibly-manifesting or cymbal shouting,
1 Ainda que eu falasse as línguas dos homens e dos anjos, e não tivesse amor, seria como o metal que soa ou como o címbalo que retine.
2 and if-supposing I-may-be-having prophecy and may-have-beheld all the mysteries and the every knowledge, and if-supposing I-may-be-having the every faith such-as to-be-standing-across mountains, moreover would_not_be-having love, I-am-being nothing,
2 E ainda que tivesse o dom de profecia, e conhecesse todos os mistérios e toda a ciência, e ainda que tivesse toda fé, de maneira tal que transportasse os montes, e não tivesse amor, nada seria.
3 and-supposing I-may-morsel-ize all the[plural] originating-under/undertaking of{me} and if-supposing I-may-give-aside/deliver the body of{me} in-which-place I-will-be-ignited[i.e. burned], moreover would_not_be-having love, I-am-being-profited nothing.
3 E ainda que distribuísse todos os meus bens para sustento dos pobres, e ainda que entregasse o meu corpo para ser queimado, e não tivesse amor, nada disso me aproveitaria.
4 The love is-being-far-[furious]desire-ing[i.e. longsuffering]. It-is-being-benevolent. The love is_not_zeal-ing. The love is_not_bragging-self. It-is_not_being-inflated.
4 O amor é sofredor, é benigno; o amor não é invejoso; o amor não se vangloria, não se ensoberbece,
5 It-is_not_being-without-decorum/indecorous/indecent. It-is_not_seeking the[plural] of{sameself}. It-is_not_being-paroxysm-ed. It-is_not_word-izing/reckoning/accounting-self the bad.
5 não se porta inconvenientemente, não busca os seus próprios interesses, não se irrita, não suspeita mal;

6 não se regozija com a injustiça, mas se regozija com a verdade;

8 O amor jamais acaba; mas havendo profecias, serão aniquiladas; havendo línguas, cessarão; havendo ciência, desaparecerá;

9 porque, em parte conhecemos, e em parte profetizamos;

10 mas, quando vier o que é perfeito, então o que é em parte será aniquilado.
11 When I-have-been-being infant[adjective], I-have-been-speaking as infant[adjective], I-have-been-considering/deeming as infant[adjective], I-have-been-word-izing/reckoning/accounting-self as infant[adjective]; moreover, when I-have-become [a] man I-have-unemployed/idled/disused the[plural] of{the infant[adjective]},
11 Quando eu era menino, pensava como menino; mas, logo que cheguei a ser homem, acabei com as coisas de menino.
12 for we-are-viewing presently through of{[a] mirror} in to{enigma[translit.]/hint/figure/symbol}; moreover, then I-am-knowing presently out of{part/portion} face toward face; moreover, then I-will-know-upon-self according-as also I-am-known-upon.
12 Porque agora vemos como por espelho, em enigma, mas então veremos face a face; agora conheço em parte, mas então conhecerei plenamente, como também sou plenamente conhecido.
13 Moreover, emphatically-now is-remaining faith, expectation, love, the three, the-same. Moreover, greater of{the-same} [is] the love.
13 Agora, pois, permanecem a fé, a esperança, o amor, estes três; mas o maior destes é o amor.
