1 Masters, do equity and justice to your servants, knowing that you also have a Master in heaven.
1 Senhores, sejam justos e imparciais com seus escravos. Lembrem-se de que vocês também têm um Senhor no céu.
2 In prayer be constant, and be watchful in it, and (in) giving thanks;
2 Dediquem-se à oração com a mente alerta e o coração agradecido.
3 praying also for us, that Aloha may open to us the gate of the word, to speak the mystery of the Meshiha, for the sake of which I am bound,
3 Orem também por nós, para que Deus nos dê muitas oportunidades de falar do segredo a respeito de Cristo. É por esse motivo que sou prisioneiro.
4 that I may fully make it manifest, as it behoveth me.
4 Orem para que eu proclame essa mensagem com a devida clareza.
5 In wisdom walk towards the outward ones, and redeem your opportunity.
5 Vivam com sabedoria entre os que são de fora e aproveitem bem todas as oportunidades.
6 And let your speech at all time be with grace as sprinkled with salt, each one knowing how it becometh him to return the answer.
6 Que suas conversas sejam amistosas e agradáveis, a fim de que tenham a resposta certa para cada pessoa.
7 What concerneth me will Tykikos, a beloved brother and faithful minister, and our companion in the Lord, make known to you:
7 Tíquico, irmão amado e colaborador fiel que trabalha comigo na obra do Senhor, lhes dará um relatório completo de como tenho passado.
8 whom I have sent to you for this, that he may know how it is with you, and may comfort your hearts;
8 Eu o envio a vocês exatamente com o propósito de informá-los do que se passa conosco e de animá-los.
9 with Onesimos, the faithful and beloved brother who is of you. These will make you know what concerneth us.
9 Envio também Onésimo, irmão fiel e amado, que é um de vocês. Ele e Tíquico lhes contarão tudo que tem acontecido aqui.
10 Aristarchos, a captive with me, asketh for your peace, and Markos, the nephew of Bar Naba, regarding whom you are directed, that if he come to you, receive him,
10 Aristarco, que é prisioneiro comigo, lhes envia saudações, e assim também Marcos, primo de Barnabé. Conforme vocês foram instruídos, se Marcos passar por aí, recebam-no bem.
11 and Jeshu who is called Justos: these are of the circumcision, and these only have helped me in the kingdom of Aloha, and these have been a consolation to me.
11 Jesus, chamado Justo, também manda lembranças. Esses são os únicos irmãos judeus entre meus colaboradores. Eles trabalham comigo para o reino de Deus e têm sido um grande conforto para mim.
12 Epaphra, who is of you, asketh for your peace; a servant of the Meshiha, who is always labouring on your behalf in prayer, that you may stand perfect and complete in all the will of Aloha.
12 Epafras, que é um de vocês e servo de Cristo Jesus, lhes envia saudações. Ele sempre ora por vocês com fervor, pedindo que sejam maduros e plenamente confiantes de que praticam toda a vontade de Deus.
13 For I testify of him that he hath a great zeal for you and for those in Laodikia and in Iropolis.
13 Posso lhes assegurar que ele tem se esforçado grandemente por vocês e pelos que estão em Laodiceia e em Hierápolis.
14 Lukos our beloved physician, and Dima, ask for your peace.
14 Lucas, o médico amado, lhes envia saudações, assim como Demas.
15 Ask the peace of the brethren who are in Laodikia, and of Nymfa, and of the church which is in his house.
15 Mandem minhas saudações a nossos irmãos em Laodiceia, e também a Ninfa e à igreja que se reúne em sua casa.
16 And when this epistle shall have been read to you, cause it also to be read in the church of the Laodikoyee; and that which is written from the Laodikoyee, read you it.
16 Depois que tiverem lido esta carta, enviem-na à igreja em Laodiceia, a fim de que eles também possam lê-la. E vocês, leiam a carta que eu escrevi para eles.
17 And say to Arkipos, Be vigilant in the ministry which thou hast received in our Lord, that thou fulfil it.
17 E digam a Arquipo: “Cuide em realizar o ministério que o Senhor lhe deu”.
18 This salutation with the hand of me, PAULOS. Remember my bonds. Grace be with you. Amen.
18 Esta é minha saudação de próprio punho: Paulo. Lembrem-se de que estou na prisão. Que a graça de Deus esteja com vocês.
