1 Masters, do equity and justice to your servants, knowing that you also have a Master in heaven.
1 Senhores, tratem os seus servos com justiça e igualdade, sabendo que também vocês têm um Senhor no céu.
2 In prayer be constant, and be watchful in it, and (in) giving thanks;
2 Continuem a orar, vigiando em oração com ação de graças.
3 praying also for us, that Aloha may open to us the gate of the word, to speak the mystery of the Meshiha, for the sake of which I am bound,
3 Ao mesmo tempo, orem também por nós, para que Deus nos abra uma porta à palavra, a fim de falarmos do mistério de Cristo, pelo qual também estou algemado.
4 that I may fully make it manifest, as it behoveth me.
4 Orem para que eu torne esse mistério conhecido, como me cumpre fazer.
5 In wisdom walk towards the outward ones, and redeem your opportunity.
5 Sejam sábios no modo de agir com os que são de fora e aproveitem bem o tempo.
6 And let your speech at all time be with grace as sprinkled with salt, each one knowing how it becometh him to return the answer.
6 Que a palavra dita por vocês seja sempre agradável, temperada com sal, para que saibam como devem responder a cada um.
7 What concerneth me will Tykikos, a beloved brother and faithful minister, and our companion in the Lord, make known to you:
7 Quanto à minha situação, Tíquico, irmão amado, fiel ministro e conservo no Senhor, lhes dará todas as informações.
8 whom I have sent to you for this, that he may know how it is with you, and may comfort your hearts;
8 Eu o estou enviando com o expresso propósito de lhes dar conhecimento da nossa situação e de alentar o coração de vocês.
9 with Onesimos, the faithful and beloved brother who is of you. These will make you know what concerneth us.
9 Com ele estou enviando Onésimo, o fiel e amado irmão, que é da igreja de vocês. Eles contarão a vocês tudo o que está acontecendo aqui.
10 Aristarchos, a captive with me, asketh for your peace, and Markos, the nephew of Bar Naba, regarding whom you are directed, that if he come to you, receive him,
10 Aristarco, que está preso comigo, manda saudações; e também Marcos, primo de Barnabé. A respeito dele vocês já receberam instruções; se ele for até aí, recebam-no bem.
11 and Jeshu who is called Justos: these are of the circumcision, and these only have helped me in the kingdom of Aloha, and these have been a consolation to me.
11 Também Jesus, conhecido por Justo, manda saudações. Estes são os únicos da circuncisão que cooperam pessoalmente comigo pelo Reino de Deus. Eles têm sido o meu consolo.
12 Epaphra, who is of you, asketh for your peace; a servant of the Meshiha, who is always labouring on your behalf in prayer, that you may stand perfect and complete in all the will of Aloha.
12 Epafras, que é da igreja de vocês, manda saudações. Ele é um servo de Cristo Jesus que está sempre lutando por vocês em oração, para que vocês se conservem maduros e plenamente convictos em toda a vontade de Deus.
13 For I testify of him that he hath a great zeal for you and for those in Laodikia and in Iropolis.
13 E posso testemunhar a respeito de Epafras de que muito se empenha por vocês, pelos de Laodiceia e pelos de Hierápolis.
14 Lukos our beloved physician, and Dima, ask for your peace.
14 Lucas, o médico amado, e também Demas mandam saudações.
15 Ask the peace of the brethren who are in Laodikia, and of Nymfa, and of the church which is in his house.
15 Saúdem os irmãos de Laodiceia, bem como Ninfa e a igreja que se reúne na casa dela.
16 And when this epistle shall have been read to you, cause it also to be read in the church of the Laodikoyee; and that which is written from the Laodikoyee, read you it.
16 E, depois que esta carta tiver sido lida entre vocês, façam com que seja lida também na igreja dos laodicenses. E vocês, leiam também a carta que vier de Laodiceia.
17 And say to Arkipos, Be vigilant in the ministry which thou hast received in our Lord, that thou fulfil it.
17 E digam a Arquipo: “Atente para o ministério que você recebeu no Senhor, cumprindo bem a sua tarefa.”
18 This salutation with the hand of me, PAULOS. Remember my bonds. Grace be with you. Amen.
18 A saudação é de próprio punho: Paulo. Lembrem-se das minhas algemas. A graça esteja com vocês.
