1 But we firmer men owe to sustain [or to bear up] the feeblenesses of sick men, [or \+sls (those)\+sls* unfirm in \+sls (the)\+sls* faith], and not [to] please to ourselves. (But we stronger men ought to bear up the weakness of frail or weak men, \+em or those unstable in the faith\+em*, and not to please ourselves.)
1 Nós que somos fortes na fé devemos ajudar os fracos a carregarem as suas cargas e não devemos agradar a nós mesmos.
2 Each of us please to his neighbour in[to] good, to edification.
2 Pelo contrário, cada um de nós deve agradar o seu irmão, para o bem dele, a fim de que ele cresça na fé.
3 For Christ pleased not to himself (or For the Messiah did not please himself), [but], as it is written, The reproofs of men despising thee, felled on me, [or The reproofs, or shames, of men despising thee, fell on me].
3 Pois nem o próprio Cristo procurou agradar a si mesmo; pelo contrário, como dizem as Escrituras Sagradas : “As ofensas daqueles que te insultaram caíram sobre mim.”
4 For whatever things be written, those be written to our teaching, (so) that by (the) patience and (the) comfort of (the) scriptures we have hope.
4 Porque tudo o que está nas Escrituras foi escrito para nos ensinar, a fim de que tenhamos esperança por meio da paciência e da coragem que as Escrituras nos dão.
5 But (the) God of patience and of solace give to you to understand the same thing, each into (the) other, after (the example of) Jesus Christ, (And may the God of patience and of solace help you to agree on matters, with one another, after the example of Jesus Christ,)

6 (so) that ye of one will with one mouth worship God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
6 E isso para que vocês, todos juntos, como se fossem uma só pessoa, louvem ao Deus e Pai do nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo.
7 For which thing take ye together, as also Christ took you into the honour of God. (For which thing accept one another, as also the Messiah hath accepted you, for the honour or the glory of God.)
7 Portanto, aceitem uns aos outros para a glória de Deus, assim como Cristo aceitou vocês.
8 For I say, that Jesus Christ was a minister (or a servant) of (the) circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises of (the) fathers.

9 And (the) heathen men owe to honour God for mercy (or And the Gentiles ought to honour God for his mercy); as it is written, Therefore, Lord, I shall acknowledge to thee among (the) heathen men, and I shall sing to thy name.
9 e para fazer com que os não judeus louvassem a Deus pela sua bondade. Como dizem as Escrituras Sagradas : “Por isso eu te louvarei entre os que não são judeus e cantarei louvores a ti.”
10 And again he saith, Ye heathen men, be ye glad [or \+sls (make)\+sls* joy] with his people. (And again it saith, Ye Gentiles, rejoice with his people!)
10 Elas dizem também: “Vocês que não são judeus, alegrem-se com o povo escolhido de Deus!”
11 And again, All heathen men, praise ye the Lord; and all peoples, magnify ye him. (And again, All the Gentiles, praise the Lord; yea, all the peoples, praise him.)
11 E dizem ainda: “Todos os que não são judeus, louvem o Senhor! Que todos os povos o louvem!”
12 And again Esaias saith, There shall be a root of Jesse, that shall rise up to govern heathen men, and heathen men shall (have) hope in him. (And again, Isaiah saith, There shall be a root of Jesse, that shall rise up to govern the Gentiles, and the Gentiles shall have hope in him.)
12 E também Isaías diz: “Virá um descendente do rei Davi, filho de Jessé; ele aparecerá para governar os que não são judeus, e eles terão esperança nele.”
13 And God of hope full-fill you in all joy and peace in believing, that ye increase [or ye abound] in hope and virtue of the Holy Ghost. (And may the God of hope fill you full with all joy and peace by your believing, or by your faith in him, so that ye increase or abound in the hope and the power of the Holy Spirit.)
13 Que Deus, que nos dá essa esperança, encha vocês de alegria e de paz, por meio da fé que vocês têm nele, a fim de que a esperança de vocês aumente pelo poder do Espírito Santo!
14 And, brethren, I myself am certain of you, that also ye be full of love, and ye be [full-]filled with all cunning, (or with all knowing), [or with all science], so that ye may admonish each other. (And, brothers, I myself am certain about you, that ye also be full of love, and that ye be filled full with all knowledge, so that ye can admonish one another.)
14 Meus irmãos, estou certo de que vocês estão cheios de bondade, sabem tudo o que é preciso saber e são capazes de dar conselhos uns aos outros.
15 And, brethren, more boldly I wrote to you a part, as bringing you into mind, for the grace that is given to me of God, (And, brothers, more boldly I wrote to you in part, as bringing you into remembrance, of the gift that is given to me by God,)
15 Porém nesta carta me atrevi a escrever com toda a franqueza para fazer com que vocês lembrem de coisas que já sabem. Eu escrevi assim por causa do privilégio que Deus me deu
16 that I be the minister of Christ Jesus among heathen men. And I hallow the gospel of God, that the offering of heathen men be accepted [or be made acceptable], and hallowed in the Holy Ghost. (that I be the servant of the Messiah Jesus among the Gentiles. And I consecrate the Gospel, or the Good News, of God, so that the offering of the Gentiles be made acceptable, and consecrated by the Holy Spirit.)
16 de ser servo de Cristo Jesus para trabalhar em favor dos que não são judeus. Eu sirvo como sacerdote ao anunciar o evangelho que vem de Deus. E faço isso para que os não judeus sejam uma oferta que Deus aceite, dedicada a ele pelo Espírito Santo.
17 Therefore I have glory in Christ Jesus to God. (And so I have glory in the Messiah Jesus to God.)

18 For I dare not speak anything of those things, which Christ doeth not by me, into obedience of (the) heathen men, in word and deeds, (For I dare not say anything about those things, which the Messiah doeth not by me, to bring the Gentiles into obedience to God, by word and deed,)

19 in virtue of tokens and great wonders, in virtue of the Holy Ghost, so that from Jerusalem by compass to the Illyricum sea [or till unto Illyricum], I have [full-]filled the gospel of Christ. (by the power of miracles, \+em or signs\+em*, and great wonders, by the power of the Holy Spirit, so that from Jerusalem all around unto Illyricum, I have fully preached the Gospel, or the Good News, of the Messiah.)
19 pelo poder de sinais e milagres e pelo poder do Espírito de Deus. Assim, viajando desde Jerusalém até a província da Ilíria, tenho anunciado de modo completo o evangelho a respeito de Cristo.
20 And so I have preached this gospel, not where Christ was named, (or not where the Messiah hath already been spoken of, or not where the Messiah hath already been heard of), lest I build upon another’s ground,
20 Para não construir sobre alicerces colocados por outros, tenho me esforçado sempre para anunciar o evangelho nos lugares onde ainda não se falou de Cristo.
21 but as it is written, For to whom it is not told of him, they shall see, and they that heard not, shall understand.
21 Como dizem as Escrituras Sagradas : “Aqueles que nunca ouviram falar a respeito dele o verão, e os que não tinham ouvido falar sobre ele o entenderão.”
22 For which thing I was hindered full much to come to you, and I am hindered till [to] this time.
22 Por essa razão muitas vezes eu quis visitá-los, mas isso não me foi possível.
23 And now I have not further place, [or cause of longer dwelling \+sls (there)\+sls*], in these countries (or in these regions), but I have (a) desire to come to you, of many years that [now] be passed.
23 Porém, já que terminei o meu trabalho nessas regiões e como há muitos anos tenho pensado em ver vocês,
24 When I begin to pass into Spain (or When I go forth to Spain), I hope that in my going I shall see you, and of you I shall be led thither, if I [shall] use you first in part.

25 Therefore now I shall pass forth to Jerusalem, to minister to (the) saints. (But now I shall go forth to Jerusalem, to serve God’s people.)

26 For Macedonia and Achaia have assayed to make some gift, [or some collection, or \+sls (a)\+sls* gathering of money], to (the) poor men of (the) saints, that be in Jerusalem. (For the churches in Macedonia and in Achaia have decided to make a gift of some money, for those of God’s people in Jerusalem who be poor.)
26 Pois as igrejas das províncias da Macedônia e da Acaia resolveram dar uma oferta para ajudar as pessoas do povo de Deus em Jerusalém que estão necessitadas.
27 For it pleased to them, and they be debtors of them; for if heathen men be made partners of their ghostly things, they owe also in fleshly things to minister to them. (For it pleased them to do this, and they be their debtors; for if the Gentiles be made the partners of their spiritual things, then they, the Gentiles, ought also to serve them with fleshly things.)
27 Os próprios cristãos da Macedônia e da Acaia resolveram fazer isso; mas, de fato, eles têm a obrigação de ajudar aqueles necessitados. Os judeus repartiram os seus bens espirituais com os que não são judeus, e por isso os não judeus devem prestar, com os seus bens materiais, esse serviço cristão aos judeus.
28 Therefore when I have ended this thing, and have assigned to them this fruit, I shall pass by you into Spain (or I shall pass by you as I go to Spain).
28 Depois que eu terminar esse trabalho e que entregar toda a oferta que foi recolhida para eles, viajarei para a Espanha e no caminho visitarei vocês.
29 And I know, that I coming to you, shall come in the abundance, [or \+sls (in the)\+sls* plenty], of the blessing of Christ. (And I know, that when I come, I shall come with a full measure of the Messiah’s blessing.)
29 E sei que, quando for visitá-los, levarei comigo muitas bênçãos de Cristo.
30 Therefore, brethren, I beseech you by our Lord Jesus Christ, and by the charity of the Holy Ghost, that ye help me in your prayers [for me] to the Lord, (And so, brothers, I beseech you by our Lord Jesus Christ, and by the love of the Holy Spirit, that ye help me by your prayers for me to the Lord,)
30 Eu peço, irmãos, pelo nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo e pelo amor que o Espírito dá, que me ajudem, orando com fervor por mim.
31 that I be delivered from the unfaithful men, that be in Judea, and that the offering of my service be accepted in Jerusalem to (the) saints; (so that I be delivered from the unfaithful men, who be in Judea, and that the offering of my service be accepted by, or acceptable to, God’s people in Jerusalem;)
31 Orem para que eu escape das pessoas da Judeia que não creem em Cristo e também para que a ajuda que eu vou levar a Jerusalém seja bem-aceita pelo povo de Deus que vive ali.
32 (so) that I come to you in joy, by the will of God, and that I be refreshed with you.
32 E assim, se Deus quiser, chegarei aí em Roma cheio de alegria e lhes farei uma visita que me dará um novo ânimo.
33 And (may the) God of peace be with you all. Amen.
