1 These be the generations of the sons of Noe; Shem, Ham, and Japheth, (or These be the descendants of Noah’s sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth). And sons were born to them after the great flood.
1 Estas, pois, são as gerações dos filhos de Noé: Sem, Cam e Jafé; e nasceram-lhes filhos depois do dilúvio.
2 The sons of Japheth were Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras.
2 Os filhos de Jafé são: Gomer, e Magogue, e Madai, e Javã, e Tubal, e Meseque, e Tiras.
3 Forsooth the sons of Gomer were Ashkenaz, and Riphath, and Togarmah.
3 E os filhos de Gomer são: Asquenaz, e Rifate, e Togarma.
4 Forsooth the sons of Javan were Elishah, and Tarshish, (and) Kittim, and Dodanim;
4 E os filhos de Javã são: Elisá, e Társis, e Quitim, e Dodanim.
5 of these sons the isles of the heathen men were parted in their countries, each by his language, and families, in his nations. (from these sons the heathen on the islands separated into their own countries, with their own languages, and families, and nations.)
5 Por estes, foram repartidas as ilhas das nações nas suas terras, cada qual segundo a sua língua, segundo as suas famílias, entre as suas nações.
6 Soothly the sons of Ham were Cush, and Mizraim, and Phut, and Canaan.
6 E os filhos de Cam são: Cuxe, e Mizraim, e Pute, e Canaã.
7 Forsooth the sons of Cush were Seba, and Havilah, and Sabtah, and Raamah, and Sabtechah. The sons of Raamah were Sheba, and Dedan.
7 E os filhos de Cuxe são: Sebá, e Havilá, e Sabtá, e Raamá, e Sabtecá; e os filhos de Raamá são: Sabá e Dedã.
8 Forsooth Cush begat Nimrod; (and) he began to be mighty in [the] earth,
8 E Cuxe gerou a Ninrode; este começou a ser poderoso na terra.
9 and he was a strong hunter, or oppressor, of men before the Lord; of him a proverb went out, (saying), As Nimrod, a strong hunter before the Lord. (and he was a strong hunter before the Lord; and a proverb went out about him, saying, Be ye like Nimrod, a strong hunter before the Lord.)
9 E este foi poderoso caçador diante da face do Senhor ; pelo que se diz: Como Ninrode, poderoso caçador diante do Senhor .
10 Soothly the beginning of his realm was Babylon, and Erech, and Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar.
10 E o princípio do seu reino foi Babel, e Ereque, e Acade, e Calné, na terra de Sinar.
11 Asshur went out of that land, and builded Nineveh, and [the] streets of the city, and Calah, (And he went out of that land to Assyria, and he built the cities of Nineveh, and Rehoboth Ir, and Calah,)
11 Desta mesma terra saiu ele à Assíria e edificou a Nínive, e Reobote-Ir, e Calá,
12 and Resen betwixt Nineveh and Calah; this is a great city.
12 e Resém, entre Nínive e Calá (esta é a grande cidade).
13 And soothly Mizraim begat Ludim, and Anamim, and Lehabim, and Naphtuhim, (And Mizraim begat the Lydians, and Anamites, and Lehabites, and Naphtuhites,)
13 E Mizraim gerou a Ludim, e a Anamim, e a Leabim, e a Naftuim,
14 and Pathrusim, and Casluhim; of which the Philistines and Caphtorim came forth. (and Pathrusites, and Casluhites, and the Caphtorites, from whom came forth the Philistines.)
14 e a Patrusim, e a Casluim (donde saíram os filisteus), e a Caftorim.
15 Forsooth Canaan engendered Sidon, his first engendered son, (and) Heth, (And Canaan begat Sidon, his first-born son, and the Hittites,)
15 E Canaã gerou a Sidom, seu primogênito, e a Hete,
16 and Jebusites, and Amorites, Girgashites,
16 e ao jebuseu, e ao amorreu, e ao girgaseu,
17 (and) Hivites, and Arkites, (and) Sinites,
17 e ao heveu, e ao arqueu, e ao sineu,
18 and Arvadites, (and) Zemarites, and Hamathites; and [the] peoples of (the) Canaanites were sown abroad by these men.
18 e ao arvadeu, e ao zemareu, e ao hamateu, e depois se espalharam as famílias dos cananeus.
19 And the terms of Canaan were made to men coming from Sidon to Gerar, till to Gaza, (or And Canaan’s borders went from Sidon to Gerar, and unto Gaza), (and then) till thou enter into Sodom, and Gomorrah, and Admah, and Zeboiim, till to Lasha.
19 E foi o termo dos cananeus desde Sidom, indo para Gerar, até Gaza; indo para Sodoma, e Gomorra, e Admá, e Zeboim, até Lasa.
20 These were the sons of Ham, in their kindreds, and languages, and generations, and lands, and folks (or and nations).
20 Estes são os filhos de Cam, segundo as suas famílias, segundo as suas línguas, em suas terras, em suas nações.
21 Also of Shem were born the fathers of all the sons of Eber, and Japheth was the more, or elder, brother (of Shem), [or and Shem was the elder brother of Japheth]. (And of Shem were born the fathers of all the sons of Eber, and Shem was the elder brother of Japheth.)
21 E a Sem nasceram filhos, e ele é o pai de todos os filhos de Éber e o irmão mais velho de Jafé.
22 The sons of Shem were Elam, and Asshur, and Arphaxad, and Lud, and Aram.
22 Os filhos de Sem são: Elão, e Assur, e Arfaxade, e Lude, e Arã.
23 The sons of Aram were Uz, and Hul, and Gether, and Mash.
23 E os filhos de Arã são: Uz, e Hul, e Geter, e Más.
24 And soothly Arphaxad begat Salah, of whom Eber was born.
24 E Arfaxade gerou a Salá; e Salá gerou a Éber.
25 And two sons were born to Eber, the name to the one son was Peleg, for the land was parted in his days (or for the peoples of the world were divided in his time); and the name of his brother was Joktan.
25 E a Éber nasceram dois filhos: o nome de um foi Pelegue, porquanto em seus dias se repartiu a terra; e o nome do seu irmão foi Joctã.
26 And that Joktan begat Almodad, and Sheleph, and Hazarmaveth, (and) Jerah,
26 E Joctã gerou a Almodá, e a Selefe, e a Hazar-Mavé, e a Jerá,
27 and Hadoram, and Uzal, and Diklah,
27 e a Hadorão, e a Uzal, e a Dicla,
28 and Obal, and Abimael, (and) Sheba,
28 e a Obal, e a Abimael, e a Sabá,
29 and Ophir, and Havilah, and Jobab; all these were the sons of Joktan.
29 e a Ofir, e a Havilá, e a Jobabe; todos estes foram filhos de Joctã.
30 And the habitation of them was made from Mesha, as men goeth till to Sephar, an hill of the east. (And they lived in the hill country of the east, from Mesha unto Sephar.)
30 E foi a sua habitação desde Messa, indo para Sefar, montanha do Oriente.
31 These be the sons of Shem, by kindreds, and languages, and countries, in their folks (or nations).
31 Estes são os filhos de Sem, segundo as suas famílias, segundo as suas línguas, em suas terras, em suas nações.
32 These be the families of Noe, by their peoples, and nations; [the] folks in [the] earth were parted of these after the great flood. (These be the families of Noah, by their peoples, and their nations; all the nations on the earth came from these \+em three men\+em*, or came from these \+em people\+em*, after the great flood.)
32 Estas são as famílias dos filhos de Noé, segundo as suas gerações, em suas nações; e destes foram divididas as nações na terra, depois do dilúvio.
