1 And when ye were dead in your guilts and sins,
1 Antigamente, por terem desobedecido a Deus e por terem cometido pecados, vocês estavam espiritualmente mortos.
2 in which ye wandered sometime, (or in which ye walked, or ye went some time ago), after the course of this world, after the prince of the power of this air, of the spirit that worketh now into the sons of unbelief;
2 Naquele tempo vocês seguiam o mau caminho deste mundo e faziam a vontade daquele que governa os poderes espirituais do espaço, o espírito que agora controla os que desobedecem a Deus.
3 in which also we all lived sometime in the desires of our flesh, doing the wills of the flesh and of the thoughts (or doing the desires of the flesh and of the thoughts, or of the mind), and we were by kind (or by nature) the sons of wrath, as other men;
3 De fato, todos nós éramos como eles e vivíamos de acordo com a nossa natureza humana , fazendo o que o nosso corpo e a nossa mente queriam. Assim, porque somos seres humanos como os outros, nós também estávamos destinados a sofrer o castigo de Deus.
4 but God, that is rich in mercy, for his full much charity in which he loved us, (but God, who is rich in mercy, for his very great love with which he loved us,)
4 Mas a misericórdia de Deus é muito grande, e o seu amor por nós é tanto,
5 yea, when we were dead in (our) sins, quickened us together in Christ (or made us alive together with the Messiah), by whose grace ye be saved,
5 que, quando estávamos espiritualmente mortos por causa da nossa desobediência, ele nos trouxe para a vida que temos em união com Cristo. Pela graça de Deus vocês são salvos.
6 and again-raised together, and made together to sit in heavenly things in Christ Jesus; (and ye be raised up, and allowed to sit in heavenly things with the Messiah Jesus;)
6 Por estarmos unidos com Cristo Jesus, Deus nos ressuscitou com ele para reinarmos com ele no mundo celestial.
7 that he should show in the worlds above coming the plenteous riches of his grace in goodness on us in Christ Jesus. (so that he could show in the world to come the plentiful riches of his grace in goodness for us in the Messiah Jesus.)
7 Deus fez isso para mostrar, em todos os tempos do futuro, a imensa grandeza da sua graça, que é nossa por meio do amor que ele nos mostrou por meio de Cristo Jesus.
8 For by grace ye be saved by faith, and this not of you (or and this is not by your own doing); for it is the gift of God,
8 Pois pela graça de Deus vocês são salvos por meio da fé. Isso não vem de vocês, mas é um presente dado por Deus.
9 not of works, that no man have glory. (and not by works, so that no one can boast.)

10 For we be the making of him, made of nought in Christ Jesus, in good works, (or made out of nothing in the Messiah Jesus, for good works), which God hath ordained, that we go in those works.
10 Pois foi Deus quem nos fez o que somos agora; em nossa união com Cristo Jesus, ele nos criou para que fizéssemos as boas obras que ele já havia preparado para nós.
11 For which thing be ye mindful that sometime ye were heathen in (the) flesh, which were said prepuce (or who were called the uncircumcision), from that that is said (the) circumcision made by hand in (the) flesh; (For which thing remember that sometime ago ye were Gentiles in the flesh, ye who were called the uncircumcised, by those who be called the circumcised, which is made in the flesh by our hands;)
11 Lembrem que vocês, os não judeus, eram chamados de incircuncidados pelos judeus, que chamam a si mesmos de circuncidados por praticar a circuncisão . Lembrem do que vocês eram no passado.
12 and ye were in that time without Christ, aliened [or strangers] from the living (community) of Israel, and guests of the testaments, not having (any) hope of (the) promise, and without God in this world. (and at that time ye were without the Messiah, alienated from, or strangers to, the living community of Israel, and outside of the covenants, not having any hope of the Promise, and without God in this world.)
12 Naquele tempo vocês estavam separados de Cristo; eram estrangeiros e não pertenciam ao povo escolhido de Deus. Não tinham parte nas suas alianças , que eram baseadas nas promessas de Deus para o seu povo. E neste mundo viviam sem esperança e sem Deus.
13 But now in Christ Jesus ye that were sometime far, be made nigh in the blood of Christ. (But now in the Messiah Jesus ye who were sometime far off, be made near by the blood of the Messiah.)
13 Mas agora, unidos com Cristo Jesus, vocês, que estavam longe de Deus, foram trazidos para perto dele pela morte de Cristo na cruz.
14 For he is our peace, that made both one, and unbinding the middle wall of a wall without mortar,
14 Pois foi Cristo quem nos trouxe a paz, tornando os judeus e os não judeus um só povo. Por meio do sacrifício do seu corpo, ele derrubou o muro de inimizade que separava os judeus dos não judeus.
15 enmities in his flesh; and voided the law of commandments by dooms (or and voided the Law with its commandments and ordinances), (so) that he make two in himself into a new man, making peace,
15 Ele acabou com a lei , juntamente com os seus mandamentos e regulamentos; e dos dois povos formou um só povo, novo e unido com ele. Foi assim que ele trouxe a paz.
16 to reconcile both in one body to God by the cross, slaying the enmities in himself.
16 Pela sua morte na cruz, Cristo destruiu a inimizade que havia entre os dois povos. Por meio da cruz, ele os uniu em um só corpo e os levou de volta para Deus.
17 And he coming preached peace to you that were far, and peace to them that were nigh; (And he coming preached peace to you who were far off, and peace to those who were near;)
17 Assim Cristo veio e anunciou a todos a boa notícia de paz, tanto a vocês, os não judeus, que estavam longe de Deus, como aos judeus, que estavam perto dele.
18 for by him we both have nigh coming in one Spirit to the Father.
18 É por meio de Cristo que todos nós, judeus e não judeus, podemos ir, pelo poder de um só Espírito, até a presença do Pai.
19 Therefore now ye be not guests and strangers, but ye be citizens of saints, and [the] household members of God; (And so now ye be not guests and strangers, but ye be citizens along with God’s people, and members of God’s household, or of God’s family.)
19 Portanto, vocês, os não judeus, não são mais estrangeiros nem visitantes. Agora vocês são cidadãos que pertencem ao povo de Deus e são membros da família dele.
20 above builded on the foundament of (the) apostles and of (the) prophets, upon that highest cornerstone, Christ Jesus; (built upon the foundation of the apostles and of the prophets, and the highest cornerstone is the Messiah Jesus;)
20 Vocês são como um edifício e estão construídos sobre o alicerce que os apóstolos e os profetas colocaram. E a pedra fundamental desse edifício é o próprio Cristo Jesus.
21 in whom each building made waxeth into an holy temple in the Lord.
21 Ele mantém o edifício todo bem firme e faz com que cresça como um templo dedicado ao Senhor.
22 In whom also ye be builded together into the habitation of God, in the Holy Ghost (or in the Holy Spirit).
22 Assim vocês também, unidos com Cristo, estão sendo construídos, junto com os outros, para se tornarem uma casa onde Deus vive por meio do seu Espírito.
