1 And when ye were dead in your guilts and sins,
1 E vos vivificou, estando vós mortos em ofensas e pecados,
2 in which ye wandered sometime, (or in which ye walked, or ye went some time ago), after the course of this world, after the prince of the power of this air, of the spirit that worketh now into the sons of unbelief;
2 em que, noutro tempo, andastes, segundo o curso deste mundo, segundo o príncipe das potestades do ar, do espírito que, agora, opera nos filhos da desobediência;
3 in which also we all lived sometime in the desires of our flesh, doing the wills of the flesh and of the thoughts (or doing the desires of the flesh and of the thoughts, or of the mind), and we were by kind (or by nature) the sons of wrath, as other men;
3 entre os quais todos nós também, antes, andávamos nos desejos da nossa carne, fazendo a vontade da carne e dos pensamentos; e éramos por natureza filhos da ira, como os outros também.
4 but God, that is rich in mercy, for his full much charity in which he loved us, (but God, who is rich in mercy, for his very great love with which he loved us,)
4 Mas Deus, que é riquíssimo em misericórdia, pelo seu muito amor com que nos amou,
5 yea, when we were dead in (our) sins, quickened us together in Christ (or made us alive together with the Messiah), by whose grace ye be saved,
5 estando nós ainda mortos em nossas ofensas, nos vivificou juntamente com Cristo (pela graça sois salvos),
6 and again-raised together, and made together to sit in heavenly things in Christ Jesus; (and ye be raised up, and allowed to sit in heavenly things with the Messiah Jesus;)
6 e nos ressuscitou juntamente com ele, e nos fez assentar nos lugares celestiais, em Cristo Jesus;
7 that he should show in the worlds above coming the plenteous riches of his grace in goodness on us in Christ Jesus. (so that he could show in the world to come the plentiful riches of his grace in goodness for us in the Messiah Jesus.)
7 para mostrar nos séculos vindouros as abundantes riquezas da sua graça, pela sua benignidade para conosco em Cristo Jesus.
8 For by grace ye be saved by faith, and this not of you (or and this is not by your own doing); for it is the gift of God,
8 Porque pela graça sois salvos, por meio da fé; e isso não vem de vós; é dom de Deus.
9 not of works, that no man have glory. (and not by works, so that no one can boast.)
9 Não vem das obras, para que ninguém se glorie.
10 For we be the making of him, made of nought in Christ Jesus, in good works, (or made out of nothing in the Messiah Jesus, for good works), which God hath ordained, that we go in those works.
10 Porque somos feitura sua, criados em Cristo Jesus para as boas obras, as quais Deus preparou para que andássemos nelas.
11 For which thing be ye mindful that sometime ye were heathen in (the) flesh, which were said prepuce (or who were called the uncircumcision), from that that is said (the) circumcision made by hand in (the) flesh; (For which thing remember that sometime ago ye were Gentiles in the flesh, ye who were called the uncircumcised, by those who be called the circumcised, which is made in the flesh by our hands;)
11 Portanto, lembrai-vos de que vós, noutro tempo, éreis gentios na carne e chamados incircuncisão pelos que, na carne, se chamam circuncisão feita pela mão dos homens;
12 and ye were in that time without Christ, aliened [or strangers] from the living (community) of Israel, and guests of the testaments, not having (any) hope of (the) promise, and without God in this world. (and at that time ye were without the Messiah, alienated from, or strangers to, the living community of Israel, and outside of the covenants, not having any hope of the Promise, and without God in this world.)
12 que, naquele tempo, estáveis sem Cristo, separados da comunidade de Israel e estranhos aos concertos da promessa, não tendo esperança e sem Deus no mundo.
13 But now in Christ Jesus ye that were sometime far, be made nigh in the blood of Christ. (But now in the Messiah Jesus ye who were sometime far off, be made near by the blood of the Messiah.)
13 Mas, agora, em Cristo Jesus, vós, que antes estáveis longe, já pelo sangue de Cristo chegastes perto.
14 For he is our peace, that made both one, and unbinding the middle wall of a wall without mortar,
14 Porque ele é a nossa paz, o qual de ambos os povos fez um; e, derribando a parede de separação que estava no meio,
15 enmities in his flesh; and voided the law of commandments by dooms (or and voided the Law with its commandments and ordinances), (so) that he make two in himself into a new man, making peace,
15 na sua carne, desfez a inimizade, isto é, a lei dos mandamentos, que consistia em ordenanças, para criar em si mesmo dos dois um novo homem, fazendo a paz,
16 to reconcile both in one body to God by the cross, slaying the enmities in himself.
16 e, pela cruz, reconciliar ambos com Deus em um corpo, matando com ela as inimizades.
17 And he coming preached peace to you that were far, and peace to them that were nigh; (And he coming preached peace to you who were far off, and peace to those who were near;)
17 E, vindo, ele evangelizou a paz a vós que estáveis longe e aos que estavam perto;
18 for by him we both have nigh coming in one Spirit to the Father.
18 porque, por ele, ambos temos acesso ao Pai em um mesmo Espírito.
19 Therefore now ye be not guests and strangers, but ye be citizens of saints, and [the] household members of God; (And so now ye be not guests and strangers, but ye be citizens along with God’s people, and members of God’s household, or of God’s family.)
19 Assim que já não sois estrangeiros, nem forasteiros, mas concidadãos dos Santos e da família de Deus;
20 above builded on the foundament of (the) apostles and of (the) prophets, upon that highest cornerstone, Christ Jesus; (built upon the foundation of the apostles and of the prophets, and the highest cornerstone is the Messiah Jesus;)
20 edificados sobre o fundamento dos apóstolos e dos profetas, de que Jesus Cristo é a principal pedra da esquina;
21 in whom each building made waxeth into an holy temple in the Lord.
21 no qual todo o edifício, bem-ajustado, cresce para templo santo no Senhor,
22 In whom also ye be builded together into the habitation of God, in the Holy Ghost (or in the Holy Spirit).
22 no qual também vós juntamente sois edificados para morada de Deus no Espírito.
