GOD'S WORD (ENGGW) vs ACF
1 As Jesus was going out of the temple courtyard, one of his disciples said to him, “Teacher, look at these huge stones and these beautiful buildings!”
1 E, saindo ele do templo, disse-lhe um dos seus discípulos: Mestre, olha que pedras, e que edifícios!
2 Jesus said to him, “Do you see these large buildings? Not one of these stones will be left on top of another. Each one will be torn down.”
2 E, respondendo Jesus, disse-lhe: Vês estes grandes edifícios? Não ficará pedra sobre pedra que não seja derrubada.
3 As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives facing the temple buildings, Peter, James, John, and Andrew asked him privately,
3 E, assentando-se ele no Monte das Oliveiras, defronte do templo, Pedro, e Tiago, e João e André lhe perguntaram em particular:
4 “Tell us, when will this happen? What will be the sign when all this will come to an end?”
4 Dize-nos, quando serão essas coisas, e que sinal haverá quando todas elas estiverem para se cumprir.
5 Jesus answered them, “Be careful not to let anyone deceive you.
5 E Jesus, respondendo-lhes, começou a dizer: Olhai que ninguém vos engane;
6 Many will come using my name. They will say, ‘I am he,’ and they will deceive many people.
6 Porque muitos virão em meu nome, dizendo: Eu sou o Cristo; e enganarão a muitos.
7 “When you hear of wars and rumors of wars, don’t be alarmed! These things must happen, but they don’t mean that the end has come.
7 E, quando ouvirdes de guerras e de rumores de guerras, não vos perturbeis; porque assim deve acontecer; mas ainda não será o fim.
8 Nation will fight against nation and kingdom against kingdom. There will be earthquakes and famines in various places. These are only the beginning pains ⌞of the end⌟.
8 Porque se levantará nação contra nação, e reino contra reino, e haverá terremotos em diversos lugares, e haverá fomes e tribulações. Estas coisas sào os princípios das dores.
9 “Be on your guard! People will hand you over to the Jewish courts and whip you in their synagogues. You will stand in front of governors and kings to testify to them because of me.
9 Mas olhai por vós mesmos, porque vos entregarão aos concílios e às sinagogas; e sereis açoitados, e sereis apresentados perante presidentes e reis, por amor de mim, para lhes servir de testemunho.
10 But first, the Good News must be spread to all nations.
10 Mas importa que o evangelho seja primeiramente pregado entre todas as nações.
11 When they take you away to hand you over to the authorities, don’t worry ahead of time about what you will say. Instead, say whatever is given to you to say when the time comes. Indeed, you are not the one who will be speaking, but the Holy Spirit will.
11 Quando, pois, vos conduzirem e vos entregarem, não estejais solícitos de antemão pelo que haveis de dizer, nem premediteis; mas, o que vos for dado naquela hora, isso falai, porque não sois vós os que falais, mas o Espírito Santo.
12 “Brother will hand over brother to death; a father will hand over his child. Children will rebel against their parents and kill them.
12 E o irmão entregará à morte o irmão, e o pai ao filho; e levantar-se-ão os filhos contra os pais, e os farão morrer.
13 Everyone will hate you because you are committed to me. But the person who endures to the end will be saved.
13 E sereis odiados por todos por amor do meu nome; mas quem perseverar até ao fim, esse será salvo.
14 “When you see the disgusting thing that will cause destruction standing where it should not (let the reader take note), those of you in Judea should flee to the mountains.
14 Ora, quando vós virdes a abominação do assolamento, que foi predita por Daniel o profeta, estar onde não deve estar (quem lê, entenda), então os que estiverem na Judéia fujam para os montes.
15 Those who are on the roof should not come down to get anything out of their houses.
15 E o que estiver sobre o telhado não desça para casa, nem entre a tomar coisa alguma de sua casa;
16 Those who are in the field should not turn back to get their coats.
16 E o que estiver no campo não volte atrás, para tomar as suas vestes.
17 “How horrible it will be for the women who are pregnant or who are nursing babies in those days.
17 Mas ai das grávidas, e das que criarem naqueles dias!
18 Pray that it will not be in winter.
18 Orai, pois, para que a vossa fuga não suceda no inverno.
19 It will be a time of misery that has not happened from the beginning of God’s creation until now, and will certainly never happen again.
19 Porque naqueles dias haverá uma aflição tal, qual nunca houve desde o princípio da criação, que Deus criou, até agora, nem jamais haverá.
20 If the Lord does not reduce that time, no one will be saved. But those days will be reduced because of those whom God has chosen.
20 E, se o Senhor não abreviasse aqueles dias, nenhuma carne se salvaria; mas, por causa dos eleitosque escolheu, abreviou aqueles dias.
21 “At that time don’t believe anyone who tells you, ‘Here is the Messiah!’ or ‘There he is!’
21 E então, se alguém vos disser: Eis aqui o Cristo; ou: Ei-lo ali; não acrediteis.
22 False messiahs and false prophets will appear. They will work miraculous signs and do wonderful things to deceive, if possible, those whom God has chosen.
22 Porque se levantarão falsos cristos, e falsos profetas, e farão sinais e prodígios, para enganarem, se for possível, até os escolhidos.
23 Be on your guard! I have told you everything before it happens.
23 Mas vós vede; eis que de antemão vos tenho dito tudo.
24 “Now, after the misery of those days, the sun will turn dark, the moon will not give light,
24 Ora, naqueles dias, depois daquela aflição, o sol se escurecerá, e a lua não dará a sua luz.
25 the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers of the universe will be shaken.
25 E as estrelas cairão do céu, e as forças que estão nos céus serão abaladas.
26 “Then people will see the Son of Man coming in clouds with great power and glory.
26 E então verão vir o Filho do homem nas nuvens, com grande poder e glória.
27 He will send out his angels, and from every direction under the sky, they will gather those whom God has chosen.
27 E ele enviará os seus anjos, e ajuntará os seus escolhidos, desde os quatro ventos, da extremidade da terra até a extremidade do céu.
28 “Learn from the story of the fig tree. When its branch becomes tender and it sprouts leaves, you know summer is near.
28 Aprendei, pois, a parábola da figueira: Quando já o seu ramo se torna tenro, e brota folhas, bem sabeis que já está próximo o verão.
29 In the same way, when you see these things happen, you know that he is near, at the door.
29 Assim também vós, quando virdes sucederem estas coisas, sabei que já está perto, às portas.
30 “I can guarantee this truth: This generation will not disappear until all these things take place.
30 Na verdade vos digo que não passará esta geração, sem que todas estas coisas aconteçam.
31 The earth and the heavens will disappear, but my words will never disappear.
31 Passará o céu e a terra, mas as minhas palavras não passarão.
32 “No one knows when that day or hour will come. Even the angels in heaven and the Son don’t know. Only the Father knows.
32 Mas daquele dia e hora ninguém sabe, nem os anjos que estão no céu, nem o Filho, senão o Pai.
33 Be careful! Watch! You don’t know the exact time.
33 Olhai, vigiai e orai; porque não sabeis quando chegará o tempo.
34 It is like a man who went on a trip. As he left home, he put his servants in charge. He assigned work to each one and ordered the guard to be alert.
34 É como se um homem, partindo para fora da terra, deixasse a sua casa, e desse autoridade aos seus servos, e a cada um a sua obra, e mandasse ao porteiro que vigiasse.
35 Therefore, be alert, because you don’t know when the owner of the house will return. It could be in the evening or at midnight or at dawn or in the morning.
35 Vigiai, pois, porque não sabeis quando virá o senhor da casa; se à tarde, se à meia-noite, se ao cantar do galo, se pela manhã,
36 Make sure he doesn’t come suddenly and find you asleep.
36 Para que, vindo de improviso, não vos ache dormindo.
37 I’m telling everyone what I’m telling you: ‘Be alert!’ ”
37 E as coisas que vos digo, digo-as a todos: Vigiai.
