GOD'S WORD (ENGGW) vs BKJ
1 ⌞The \+nd Lord\+nd* said,⌟ “Son of man, prophesy against Gog. Tell it, ‘This is what the Almighty Lord says: I am against you, Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal.
1 Portanto, tu, filho do homem, profetiza contra Gogue, e dize: Assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Eis que eu estou contra ti, ó Gogue, principal príncipe de Meseque e de Tubal;
2 I will turn you around and lead you. I will bring you from the far north and have you attack the mountains of Israel.
2 e eu te virarei de volta, e deixarei uma sexta parte de ti, e far-te-ei subir das partes do norte, e te trarei sobre os montes de Israel;
3 Then I will knock the bow out of your left hand and make you drop the arrows in your right hand.
3 e eu atingirei o teu arco da tua mão esquerda, e farei com que as tuas flechas caiam da tua mão direita.
4 You will die on the mountains of Israel with your troops and the armies that are with you. I will let you become food for every bird of prey and for every wild animal.
4 Tu cairás sobre os montes de Israel, tu e todas as tuas tropas, e os povos que estão contigo; te entregarei aos pássaros vorazes de todo o tipo, e aos animais do campo para seres devorado.
5 You will die in the open field because I said so, declares the Almighty Lord.
5 Tu cairás sobre o campo aberto; porque eu o falei, diz o Senhor DEUS.
6 I will send fire on Magog and on those who live safely on the coasts. Then they will know that I am the Lord.
6 E eu enviarei um fogo sobre Magogue, e entre os que habitam descuidadamente nas ilhas; e eles saberão que eu sou o SENHOR.
7 I will make my holy name known among my people Israel, and I will never let them dishonor my holy name again. Then the nations will know that I am the Lord, the Holy One in Israel.
7 Então, eu farei o meu santo nome conhecido no meio do meu povo Israel, e não mais os deixarei poluírem o meu santo nome; e os pagãos saberão que eu sou o SENHOR, o Santo em Israel.
8 “ ‘It’s coming! It will happen! declares the Almighty Lord. This is the day I have spoken about.
8 Eis que é vindo e é feito, diz o Senhor DEUS; este é o dia do qual eu tenho falado.
9 Those living in the cities of Israel will go out. They will set fire to weapons and burn them. They will burn small and large shields, bows and arrows, and war clubs and spears. They will burn them for seven years.
9 E aqueles que habitam nas cidades de Israel irão adiante e acenderão e queimarão as armas, tanto os escudos quanto os broquéis, os arcos e as flechas, e bastões de mão, e as lanças; e eles os queimarão com fogo por sete anos;
10 They will not need to get wood from the field or cut down trees in the woods. They will make fires with the weapons. They will loot those who looted them, and they will grab things back from those who grabbed their things, declares the Almighty Lord.
10 de maneira que não tirarão madeira alguma do campo, nem cortarão nada das florestas; porque eles queimarão as armas com fogo; e despojarão aqueles que os despojaram, e roubarão aqueles que os roubaram, diz o Senhor DEUS.
11 “ ‘When that day comes, I will give Gog a burial place in Israel. It will be in Travelers Valley, east of the Dead Sea. It will block those who travel ⌞through the valley⌟. Gog and his whole army will be buried there. So it will be called the valley of Gog’s troops.
11 E acontecerá que, naquele dia, eu darei a Gogue um lugar de sepultura em Israel, o vale dos passageiros no leste do mar; e pararão os narizes dos passageiros, e lá enterrarão Gogue e toda a sua multidão, e lhe chamarão o vale de Hamom-Gogue.
12 The people of Israel will be burying them there for seven months to make the land clean.
12 E a casa de Israel os estará enterrando durante sete meses, para que eles possam limpar a terra.
13 All the common people will be burying them. The people of Israel will be honored on the day of my victory, declares the Almighty Lord.
13 Sim, todo o povo da terra os enterrará, e será para eles um renome o dia em que eu for glorificado, diz o Senhor DEUS.
14 “ ‘People will be chosen to go through the land and make it clean. With the help of others they will bury the dead soldiers that are still on the ground. At the end of seven months they will begin their search.
14 E separarão homens de continuo trabalho, percorrerão a terra, para que eles, juntamente com os que passam, sepultem os que tiverem ficado sobre a face da terra, para limpá-la; durante sete meses farão esta busca.
15 Whenever they go through the land and see a human bone, they will set up a marker beside it until the grave diggers have buried that bone in the valley of Gog’s troops.
15 E os passageiros que passarem pela terra, quando algum deles vir o osso de um homem, então ele colocará um sinal junto a ele, até que os enterradores o tenham enterrado no vale de Hamom-Gogue.
16 (A city named Hamonah will also be there.) In this way they will cleanse the land.’
16 E também o nome da cidade será Hamona. Assim, eles limparão a terra.
17 “Son of man, this is what the Almighty Lord says: Tell every kind of bird and every wild animal, ‘Assemble, and come together from all around for the sacrifice that I’m preparing for you. It will be a huge feast on the mountains of Israel. You can eat meat and drink blood there.
17 E tu, filho do homem, assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Fala a toda ave emplumada, e a cada animal do campo: Reuni-vos e vinde, ajuntai-vos de todo lado para o meu sacrifício, que eu sacrifico por vós, um sacrifício grande sobre os montes de Israel, para que possais comer carne e beber sangue.
18 You can eat the meat of warriors and drink the blood of the princes of the earth. All of them will be killed like rams, lambs, goats, bulls and all the best animals of Bashan.
18 Comereis a carne dos poderosos e bebereis o sangue dos príncipes da terra; de carneiros, de cordeiros, e de cabras, e de novilhos, todos os cevados de Basã.
19 You can eat the best meat until you are full and drink blood until you are drunk at the sacrifice that I am preparing for you.
19 E comereis a gordura até que estejais cheios, e bebereis sangue até que estejais bêbados, do meu sacrifício que eu sacrifiquei por vós.
20 At my table you will be filled with horses and riders, warriors, and soldiers of every kind, declares the Almighty Lord.’
20 Assim, sereis fartos à minha mesa com cavalos e carruagens, com homens poderosos, e com todos os homens de guerra, diz o Senhor DEUS.
21 “I will show my greatness among the nations. All the nations will see how I will turn my power against them to punish them.
21 E eu colocarei a minha glória entre os pagãos, e todos os pagãos verão o meu juízo, que eu executei, e a minha mão, que pus sobre eles.
22 From that day on, the people of Israel will know that I am the Lord their God.
22 Assim a casa de Israel saberá que eu sou o SENHOR seu Deus, daquele dia em diante.
23 Then the nations will know that the people of Israel went into captivity because they did wrong and rebelled against me. So I hid my face from them and handed them over to their enemies. They were killed in battle.
23 E os pagãos saberão que a casa de Israel foi ao cativeiro por sua iniquidade; porque eles transgrediram contra mim, portanto eu escondi minha face deles, e os entreguei na mão de seus inimigos; então eles caíram todos à espada.
24 I paid them back for their uncleanness and their sins, and I hid my face from them.
24 De acordo com a sua impureza, e de acordo com as suas transgressões eu tenho feito a eles, e escondi minha face deles.
25 “So this is what the Almighty Lord says: Now I will bring back Jacob’s captives and have compassion for the whole nation of Israel. I will stand up for my holy name.
25 Portanto, assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Agora eu trarei novamente o cativeiro de Jacó, e terei misericórdia sobre toda a casa de Israel, e serei ciumento por causa do meu santo nome;
26 When they live safely in a land where no one will frighten them, they will forget their shame and all the unfaithful things they have done against me.
26 depois que eles tiverem carregado a sua vergonha, e todas as suas transgressões pelas quais transgrediram contra mim, quando habitaram seguramente em sua terra, e ninguém os deixava temerosos.
27 I will bring them back from the other nations and gather them from the countries of their enemies. Many nations will see that I am holy.
27 Quando eu os tiver trazido novamente dos povos, e os tiver ajuntado das terras de seus inimigos, e for santificado por eles à vista das muitas nações;
28 Then my people will know that I am the Lord their God. I sent them into captivity among the nations, and I brought them back again to their land. I left none of them behind.
28 então, eles saberão que eu sou o SENHOR seu Deus, que os fez ir ao cativeiro entre os pagãos; mas eu os reuni em sua própria terra, e não mais deixei nenhum deles lá.
29 I will no longer hide my face from them, because I will pour out my Spirit on the nation of Israel, declares the Almighty Lord.”
29 Nem esconderei mais a minha face deles, porque eu derramei o meu Espírito sobre a casa de Israel, diz o Senhor DEUS.
