Ezequiel 11
GOD'S WORD (ENGGW) vs BKJ
1 Then the Spirit lifted me and took me to the east gate of the Lord’s temple. (It’s the gate that faces east.) Twenty-five men were at the entrance of the gate. I saw among them Azzur’s son Jaazaniah and Benaiah’s son Pelatiah. They were leaders of the people.
1 Além disso, o Espírito me levantou, e me trouxe à porta leste da casa do SENHOR, a qual olha em direção ao leste; e eis à porta do portão vinte e cinco homens, entre os quais eu vi a Jaazanias, filho de Azur, e a Pelatias, filho de Benaia, príncipes do povo.
2 Then the Lord said to me, “Son of man, these are the men who plan evil and give bad advice in this city.
2 Então, ele me disse: Filho do homem, estes são os homens que maquinam o mal, e dão perverso conselho nesta cidade;
3 They say, ‘It’s almost time to rebuild homes. This city is a cooking pot, and we’re the meat.’
3 os quais dizem: Isso não está próximo; edifiquemos casas; esta cidade é o caldeirão, e sejamos a carne.
4 So prophesy against them. Prophesy, son of man.”
4 Portanto, profetiza contra eles; profetiza, ó filho do homem.
5 The Lord’s Spirit came to me and told me to say, “This is what the Lord says: You are saying these things, nation of Israel. But I know what’s going through your mind.
5 E o Espírito do SENHOR caiu sobre mim, e me disse: Fala: Assim diz o SENHOR: Assim haveis falado, ó casa de Israel, porque eu conheço as coisas que vêm à vossa mente, cada uma delas.
6 You have killed many people in this city and have filled its streets with corpses.
6 Multiplicastes os vossos mortos nesta cidade, e enchestes as suas ruas de mortos.
7 “So this is what the Almighty Lord says: The corpses that you put in the middle of the city are the meat, and the city is the cooking pot. I will force you out of the city.
7 Portanto, assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Vossos mortos, que vós deitastes no meio dela, esses são a carne, e esta cidade é o caldeirão; mas eu vos tirarei do meio dela.
8 You are afraid of swords, so I will bring swords to attack you, declares the Almighty Lord.
8 Temestes a espada, e eu trarei uma espada sobre vós, diz o Senhor DEUS.
9 I will force you out of the city. I will hand you over to foreigners, and I will punish you.
9 E eu vos trarei para fora de seu meio, e vos entregarei nas mãos de estranhos, e executarei os meus juízos entre vós.
10 You will die in battle. I will judge you at Israel’s borders. Then you will know that I am the Lord.
10 Caireis pela espada, e eu vos julgarei na fronteira de Israel; e sabereis que eu sou o SENHOR.
11 The city will not be your cooking pot, and you will not be the meat in it. I will judge you at Israel’s borders.
11 Esta cidade não será o vosso caldeirão, nem vós sereis a carne no meio dela; mas eu vos julgarei na fronteira de Israel;
12 Then you will know that I am the Lord. You haven’t lived by my laws, and you haven’t obeyed my rules. You have followed the standards set by the nations around you.”
12 e vós sabereis que eu sou o SENHOR, porque não andastes nos meus estatutos, nem executastes os meus juízos, mas fizestes segundo as maneiras dos pagãos que estão ao redor de vós.
13 While I was prophesying, Benaiah’s son Pelatiah died.
13 E sucedeu, quando eu profetizava, que Pelatias, filho de Benaia, morreu. Então, eu caí sobre a minha face, e clamei com alta voz, e disse: Ah! Senhor DEUS! Darás tu um fim total aos remanescentes de Israel?
14 Then the Lord spoke his word to me. He said,
14 Novamente, a palavra do SENHOR veio a mim, dizendo:
15 “Son of man, the people who live in Jerusalem are talking about your own relatives and about the entire nation of Israel. The people who live in Jerusalem say, ‘They are far away from the Lord. This land has been given to us as our own property.’
15 Filho do homem, teus irmãos, até teus irmãos, os homens de teu parentesco, e toda a casa de Israel completamente, são aqueles a quem os habitantes de Jerusalém disseram: Apartai-vos para longe do SENHOR; a nós esta terra é dada em possessão.
16 “So tell them, ‘This is what the Almighty Lord says: Although I sent them far away among the nations and scattered them among the countries, I have been their sanctuary for a little while among the countries where they’ve gone.’
16 Portanto, dize: Assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Embora eu os tenha lançado para longe entre os pagãos, e embora eu os tenha espalhado entre as nações, ainda assim, eu serei para eles como um pequeno santuário, nas regiões para onde eles virão.
17 “So tell them, ‘This is what the Almighty Lord says: I will bring them together from the nations and gather them from the countries where I’ve scattered them. I will give them the land of Israel.
17 Portanto, dize: Assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Hei de ajuntar-vos do meio do povo, e vos reunirei fora das nações onde fostes espalhados, e vos darei a terra de Israel.
18 They will come and remove all the disgusting and detestable things that are there.
18 E eles virão ali, e tirarão todas as suas coisas detestáveis dela e todas as suas abominações.
19 I will give them a single purpose and put a new spirit in them. I will remove their stubborn hearts and give them obedient hearts.
19 E eu lhes darei um só coração, e colocarei um novo espírito dentro de vós; e tomarei o coração de pedra para fora da sua carne, e lhes darei um coração de carne;
20 Then they will live by my laws and obey my rules. They will be my people, and I will be their God.
20 para que eles possam andar nos meus estatutos, e guardar as minhas ordenanças, e cumpri-las; e eles serão o meu povo, e eu serei o seu Deus.
21 But as for those whose minds are set on following detestable and disgusting idols, I will pay them back for what they have done, declares the Almighty Lord.’ ”
21 Mas, quanto àquele cujo coração andar segundo o coração das suas coisas detestáveis, e as suas abominações, eu recompensarei o seu caminho sobre suas próprias cabeças, diz o Senhor DEUS.
22 Then the angels raised their wings, with the wheels beside them. The glory of the God of Israel was above them.
22 Então, os querubins elevaram as suas asas, e as rodas do lado deles; e a glória do Deus de Israel estava sobre eles.
23 The Lord’s glory left the middle of the city and stopped above the mountain east of the city.
23 E a glória do SENHOR subiu do meio da cidade; e ficou sobre o monte que está no lado leste da cidade.
24 In this vision from God’s Spirit, the Spirit lifted me and brought me to the exiles in Babylonia. Then the vision I saw left me.
24 Em seguida, o Espírito me levantou, e me trouxe em visão pelo Espírito de Deus para dentro da Caldeia, para aqueles do cativeiro. Então, a visão que eu havia tido ascendeu de mim.
25 I told the exiles everything the Lord had shown me.
25 Então, eu falei àqueles do cativeiro todas as coisas que o SENHOR havia me mostrado.
