GOD'S WORD (ENGGW) vs NAA
1 Solomon began to build the Lord’s temple in Jerusalem on Mount Moriah, where the Lord appeared to his father David. There David had prepared the site on the threshing floor of Ornan the Jebusite.
1 Salomão começou a edificar a Casa do Senhor em Jerusalém, no monte Moriá, onde o Senhor havia aparecido a Davi, seu pai, lugar que Davi tinha designado na eira de Ornã, o jebuseu.
2 He began to build on the second day in the second month of the fourth year of his reign.
2 Começou a edificar no segundo dia do segundo mês, no quarto ano do seu reinado.
3 This is how Solomon laid the foundation to build God’s temple. It was 90 feet long and 30 feet wide. (They used the old standard measurement.)
3 Foram estas as medidas dos alicerces que Salomão lançou para edificar a Casa de Deus: vinte e sete metros de comprimento por nove de largura, segundo o padrão antigo.
4 The entrance hall in front of ⌞the main room⌟ was 30 feet wide (the same as the width of the temple) and 30 feet high. He covered its inside walls with pure gold.
4 O pórtico diante da casa tinha nove metros no sentido da largura do Lugar Santo, e a altura era de cinquenta e quatro metros. Salomão revestiu o interior do pórtico de ouro puro.
5 He paneled the larger building with cypress, overlaid it with fine gold, and decorated it with ⌞designs in the form of⌟ palm trees and chains.
5 Também fez forrar de madeira de cipreste a sala grande, revestiu-a de ouro puro e gravou nela palmeiras e correntes.
6 He covered the building with gems to beautify it and used gold from Parvaim.
6 Também enfeitou a sala com pedras preciosas; e o ouro era de Parvaim.
7 He also overlaid the building, the rafters, the threshold, the walls, and the doors with gold, and he carved angels into the walls.
7 Revestiu de ouro a sala, as vigas, os umbrais, as paredes e as portas; e esculpiu querubins nas paredes.
8 He made the most holy place. It was as long as the temple was wide, 30 feet long. It was also 30 feet wide. He overlaid it with 45,000 pounds of fine gold.
8 Fez o Santo dos Santos, cujo comprimento era de nove metros, segundo a largura da sala grande, e a largura também era de nove metros. Revestiu o seu interior com vinte toneladas de ouro puro.
9 The gold nails weighed 20 ounces. He also overlaid the upper rooms with gold.
9 O peso dos pregos era de seiscentos gramas de ouro. Também revestiu de ouro os cenáculos.
10 In the most holy place he made two sculptured angels and covered them with gold.
10 No Santo dos Santos, Salomão fez dois querubins de madeira e os revestiu de ouro.
11 The combined length of the angels’ wings was 30 feet. A wing of one of the angels was 7½ feet long and touched the wall of the building. Its other wing was 7½ feet long and touched one wing of the other.
11 As asas estendidas dos querubins mediam, juntas, quatro metros e meio; a asa de um deles, de dois metros e vinte e cinco, tocava na parede do templo; e a outra asa, igualmente de dois metros e vinte e cinco, tocava na asa do outro querubim.
12 The wing of the other one of the angels was 7½ feet long and touched the other wall of the building. Its other wing was 7½ feet long and touched the wing of the first. So the angels’ combined wingspan was 30 feet.
12 Também a asa do outro querubim era de dois metros e vinte e cinco e tocava na outra parede; e a outra asa, igualmente de dois metros e vinte e cinco, estava unida à asa do outro querubim. As asas destes querubins se estendiam por nove metros.
13 They stood on their feet and faced the main hall.
13 Eles estavam em pé, com o rosto voltado para o Santo Lugar.
14 Solomon made the canopy of violet, purple, and dark red cloth and of linen and decorated it with angels.
14 Salomão também fez o véu de pano azul, púrpura, carmesim e linho fino; e mandou bordar nele figuras de querubins.
15 He made two pillars for the front of the temple. They were 53 feet long, and the capital on each pillar was 7½ feet ⌞high⌟.
15 Salomão fez também diante da sala duas colunas de quinze metros e meio de altura, com um capitel de dois metros e vinte sobre cada uma delas.
16 He made chains for the inner room and ⌞also⌟ put them on the capitals. He made 100 pomegranates and put them on the chains.
16 Também fez correntes, como as do Santo dos Santos, e as pôs no alto das colunas; fez também cem romãs, as quais pôs nas correntes.
17 He set up the pillars in front of the temple, one on the right and the other on the left. He named the one on the right Jachin [He Establishes] and the one on the left Boaz [In Him Is Strength].
17 Levantou as colunas diante do templo, uma à direita e outra à esquerda. À coluna da direita deu o nome de Jaquim, e à coluna da esquerda deu o nome de Boaz.
