AAI TUR GEWASIN O BAIBASIT BOUBUN
1 Now concerning food sacrificed to idols, we know that “we all have knowledge.” Knowledge puffs up, but love builds up.
1 Boun i akokok bay sawar murubih isah kwasisibor isan kwakirum nan i anao kwananowar. Tur anababatun it etei’imak iti sawar isah i taso’ob. Naatu iti so’obamaim it wowabit tayen tabi’orot. Baise yabow i wowabit gewas orot babin tabibais.
2 If anyone thinks he knows something, he has not yet come to knowanything as he ought to know it.
2 Orot yait sawar etei so’ob rouw eo, men kafa’imo abisa ta so’obamih.
3 But if anyone loves God, he is known by God.
3 Baise orot yait God ebiyabow God nati orot i su’ub naatu ekakaif.
4 With regard then to eating food sacrificed to idols, we know that “an idol is nothing in the world,” and that “there is noother God but one.”
4 Sabuw afa bay wagabur isah hisisibor hibow te’aa isah anao kwananowar, wagabur i men God, naatu God i ta’imon maiyow, tafaram wanawanan men god ta sisibinamaim ema’am.
5 For even if there are so-called gods, whether in heaven or on earth (as indeed there are many “gods” and many “lords”),
5 Turobe sabuw afa boro hinao, mar wanawanan naatu tafaram wanawanan wagabur i awan karatan. Turobe wagabur, yoyom i moumurih na’in.
6 for us there is one God, the Father, from whom are all things, and we exist for him; and there is one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, and we exist through him.
6 Baise it ata God i ta’imon, Tamat i akisin biyanane sawar etei himatar naatu i wanawananamaim it tama’am, naatu ata Regah Jesu Keriso i ta’imon, i akisin wanawananamaim God sawar etei eo himatar naatu i akisin wanawanan it tama’am.
7 However, not everyone possesses this knowledge. But somehave idols in their conscience even now and eat such food as something sacrificed to idols, and since their conscience is weak, it is defiled.
7 Baise sabuw moumurih na’in iti men hiso’obamih. Sabuw iti na’atube marasika hima hisisinaf au naniyah in, imih bay hibow te’aa i tenotanot wagabur isah hisisibor hibow te’aa terarouw, naatu hai notamaim iu’uwih biyah gubagub matar, anayabin kakafin gewasin kusibin ana not i ririmin.
8 But fooddoes not bring us close to God.For we are no better off if we eat, and no worse off if we do not eat.
8 Baise bayumaim boro men nabuwit tanan God sisibin tanatitamih, bay tana’ani’aan na’at God boro men natawanamih, naatu men tana’ani’aan God boro men it gewasit narouw na’omih.
9 But be careful that this right of yours does not somehow become a stumbling block to the weak.
9 Baise kwanakaifi gewas, kwa hirufami kwatit yawas kwabaib men imaim kwanasinaf taituwa iyab hai baitumatum ririmin tema’am kwanikwarisihimih.
10 For if someone sees yoʋ, who have knowledge, reclining for a meal in the temple of an idol, will not his weak conscience be emboldened to eat food sacrificed to idols?
10 Anayabin o iso’ob abisa kusisinaf, imih o boro wagabur hai kwafiren bar wanawanan sibor inabow inaa. Baise orot ta ana not ririmin o na’i’iti boro fair na’atube nab naatu gem tafanamaim wagabur isah hisisibor boro nabow na.
11 Shouldthe weak brother, for whose sake Christ died, perish because of yoʋr knowledge?
11 Naatu taituwa ana not ririmin ma’ama o aso’obamaim ana not i’asabun, inaso’ob nati taituwa isan Keriso morob.
12 When you sin in this way against your brothers and wound their weak conscience, you sin against Christ.
12 Imih o taituwa isah bowabow kakafin iti na’atube isinaf hai not ririm feher kubitih, nati i o Keriso isan bowabow kakafin kusisinaf.
13 Therefore, if food causes my brother to stumble, I will certainly never eat meat, so that I will not cause my brother to stumble.
13 Isan imih ayu abisa ani’aanimaim aiwa’an taituwau bowabow kakafin wanawanan re’er ayu nati for men ana’aan maiye, saise men ana sinaf maiye nare.
