4 Are ye|strong="G1252" not|strong="G3756" then|strong="G2532" partial|strong="G1252" in|strong="G1722" yourselves|strong="G1438", and|strong="G2532" are become|strong="G1096" judges|strong="G2923" of evil|strong="G4190" thoughts|strong="G1261"?
5 Hearken|strong="G0191", my|strong="G3450" beloved|strong="G0027" brethren|strong="G0080", Hath|strong="G1586" not|strong="G3756" God|strong="G2316" chosen|strong="G1586" the poor|strong="G4434" of this|strong="G5127" world|strong="G2889" rich|strong="G4145" in|strong="G1722" faith|strong="G4102", and|strong="G2532" heirs|strong="G2818" of the kingdom|strong="G0932" which|strong="G3739" he hath promised|strong="G1861" to them that|strong="G3588" love|strong="G0025" him|strong="G0846"?

7 Do|strong="G0987" not|strong="G3756" they|strong="G0846" blaspheme|strong="G0987" that worthy|strong="G2570" name|strong="G3686" by|strong="G1909" the which|strong="G3588" ye|strong="G5209" are called|strong="G1941"?

Now|strong="G1161" if|strong="G1487" thou commit|strong="G3431" no|strong="G3756" adultery|strong="G3431", yet|strong="G1161" if thou kill|strong="G5407", thou art become|strong="G1096" a transgressor|strong="G3848" of the law|strong="G3551".
12 So|strong="G3779" speak ye|strong="G2980", and|strong="G2532" so|strong="G3779" do|strong="G4160", as|strong="G5613" they that shall|strong="G3195" be judged|strong="G2919" by|strong="G1223" the law|strong="G3551" of liberty|strong="G1657".
13 For|strong="G1063" he|strong="G4160" shall have judgment|strong="G2920" without mercy|strong="G0448", that hath shewed|strong="G4160" no|strong="G3361" mercy|strong="G1656"; and|strong="G2532" mercy|strong="G1656" rejoiceth against|strong="G2620" judgment|strong="G2920".
14 What|strong="G5101" doth it profit|strong="G3786", my|strong="G3450" brethren|strong="G0080", though|strong="G1437" a man|strong="G5100" say|strong="G3004" he hath|strong="G2192" faith|strong="G4102", and|strong="G1161" have|strong="G2192" not|strong="G3361" works|strong="G2041"? can|strong="G1410" faith|strong="G4102" save|strong="G4982" him|strong="G0846"?
15 If|strong="G1437" a brother|strong="G0080" or|strong="G2228" sister|strong="G0079" be|strong="G5225" naked|strong="G1131", and|strong="G2532" destitute|strong="G3007" of daily|strong="G2184" food|strong="G5160",
16 And|strong="G1161" one|strong="G5100" of|strong="G1537" you|strong="G5216" say|strong="G2036" unto them|strong="G0846", Depart|strong="G5217" in|strong="G1722" peace|strong="G1515", be|strong="G2328" ye warmed|strong="G2328" and|strong="G2532" filled|strong="G5526"; notwithstanding|strong="G1161" ye give|strong="G1325" them|strong="G0846" not|strong="G3361" those things which are needful|strong="G2006" to the body|strong="G4983"; what|strong="G5101" doth it profit|strong="G3786"?

19 Thou|strong="G4771" believest|strong="G4100" that|strong="G3754" there is|strong="G2076" one|strong="G1520" God|strong="G2316"; thou doest|strong="G4160" well|strong="G2573": the devils|strong="G1140" also|strong="G2532" believe|strong="G4100", and|strong="G2532" tremble|strong="G5425".
20 But|strong="G1161" wilt thou|strong="G2309" know|strong="G1097", O|strong="G5599" vain|strong="G2756" man|strong="G0444", that|strong="G3754" faith|strong="G4102" without|strong="G5565" works|strong="G2041" is|strong="G2076" dead|strong="G3498"?
21 Was not|strong="G3756" Abraham|strong="G0011" our|strong="G2257" father|strong="G3962" justified|strong="G1344" by|strong="G1537" works|strong="G2041", when he had offered|strong="G0399" Isaac|strong="G2464" his|strong="G0846" son|strong="G5207" upon|strong="G1909" the altar|strong="G2379"?
22 Seest thou|strong="G0991" how|strong="G3754" faith|strong="G4102" wrought with|strong="G4903" his|strong="G0846" works|strong="G2041", and|strong="G2532" by|strong="G1537" works|strong="G2041" was|strong="G5048" faith|strong="G4102" made perfect|strong="G5048"?
23 And|strong="G2532" the scripture|strong="G1124" was fulfilled|strong="G4137" which saith|strong="G3004", Abraham|strong="G0011" believed|strong="G4100" God|strong="G2316", and|strong="G2532" it was imputed|strong="G3049" unto him|strong="G0846" for|strong="G1519" righteousness|strong="G1343": and|strong="G2532" he was called|strong="G2564" the Friend|strong="G5384" of God|strong="G2316".
