1 Livra-me, meu Deus, dos meus inimigos, defende-me daqueles que se levantam contra mim.
2 Deliver|strong="H5337" me from the workers|strong="H6466" of iniquity|strong="H0205", and save|strong="H3467" me from bloody|strong="H1818" men|strong="H0582".
2 Livra-me dos que praticam a iniqüidade, e salva-me dos homens sanguinários.
3 For, lo, they lie in wait|strong="H0693" for my soul|strong="H5315": the mighty|strong="H5794" are gathered|strong="H1481" against me; not for my transgression|strong="H6588", nor for my sin|strong="H2403", O \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*.
3 Pois eis que põem ciladas à minha alma; os fortes se ajuntam contra mim, não por transgressão minha ou por pecado meu, ó Senhor.
4 They run|strong="H7323" and prepare|strong="H3559" themselves without my fault|strong="H5771": awake|strong="H5782" to help|strong="H7125" me, and behold|strong="H7200".
4 Eles correm, e se preparam, sem culpa minha; desperta para me ajudares, e olha.
5 Thou therefore, O \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* God|strong="H0430" of hosts|strong="H6635", the God|strong="H0430" of Israel|strong="H3478", awake|strong="H6974" to visit|strong="H6485" all the heathen|strong="H1471": be not merciful|strong="H2603" to any wicked|strong="H0205" transgressors|strong="H0898". 5 Tu, pois, ó Senhor, Deus dos Exércitos, Deus de Israel, desperta para visitares todos os gentios; não tenhas misericórdia de nenhum dos pérfidos que praticam a iniqüidade. (Selá.)

6 Voltam à tarde; dão ganidos como cães, e rodeiam a cidade.
7 Behold, they belch out|strong="H5042" with their mouth|strong="H6310": swords|strong="H2719" are in their lips|strong="H8193": for who, say they, doth hear|strong="H8085"?
7 Eis que eles dão gritos com as suas bocas; espadas estão nos seus lábios, porque, dizem eles: Quem ouve?
8 But thou, O \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, shalt laugh|strong="H7832" at them; thou shalt have all the heathen|strong="H1471" in derision|strong="H3932".
8 Mas tu, Senhor, te rirás deles; zombarás de todos os gentios;
9 Because of his strength|strong="H5797" will I wait|strong="H8104" upon thee: for God|strong="H0430" is my defence|strong="H4869".
9 Por causa da sua força eu te aguardarei; pois Deus é a minha alta defesa.
10 The God|strong="H0430" of my mercy|strong="H2617" shall prevent|strong="H6923" me: God|strong="H0430" shall let me see|strong="H7200" my desire upon mine enemies|strong="H8324".
10 O Deus da minha misericórdia virá ao meu encontro; Deus me fará ver o meu desejo sobre os meus inimigos.
11 Slay|strong="H2026" them not, lest my people|strong="H5971" forget|strong="H7911": scatter|strong="H5128" them by thy power|strong="H2428"; and bring them down|strong="H3381", O Lord|strong="H0136" our shield|strong="H4043".
11 Não os mates, para que o meu povo não se esqueça; espalha-os pelo teu poder, e abate-os, ó Senhor, nosso escudo.
12 For the sin|strong="H2403" of their mouth|strong="H6310" and the words|strong="H1697" of their lips|strong="H8193" let them even be taken|strong="H3920" in their pride|strong="H1347": and for cursing|strong="H0423" and lying|strong="H3585" which they speak|strong="H5608".
12 Pelo pecado da sua boca e pelas palavras dos seus lábios, fiquem presos na sua soberba, e pelas maldições e pelas mentiras que falam.
13 Consume|strong="H3615" them in wrath|strong="H2534", consume|strong="H3615" them, that they may not be: and let them know|strong="H3045" that God|strong="H0430" ruleth|strong="H4910" in Jacob|strong="H3290" unto the ends|strong="H0657" of the earth|strong="H0776". Selah|strong="H5542".
13 Consome-os na tua indignação, consome-os, para que não existam, e para que saibam que Deus reina em Jacó até aos fins da terra. (Selá.)
14 And at evening|strong="H6153" let them return|strong="H7725"; and let them make a noise|strong="H1993" like a dog|strong="H3611", and go round about|strong="H5437" the city|strong="H5892".
14 E tornem a vir à tarde, e dêem ganidos como cães, e cerquem a cidade.
15 Let them wander up and down|strong="H5128" for meat|strong="H0398", and grudge|strong="H3885" if they be not satisfied|strong="H7646".
15 Vagueiem para cima e para baixo por mantimento, e passem a noite sem se saciarem.
16 But I will sing|strong="H7891" of thy power|strong="H5797"; yea, I will sing aloud|strong="H7442" of thy mercy|strong="H2617" in the morning|strong="H1242": for thou hast been my defence|strong="H4869" and refuge|strong="H4498" in the day|strong="H3117" of my trouble|strong="H6862".
16 Eu, porém, cantarei a tua força; pela manhã louvarei com alegria a tua misericórdia; porquanto tu foste o meu alto refúgio, e proteção no dia da minha angústia.
17 Unto thee, O my strength|strong="H5797", will I sing|strong="H2167": for God|strong="H0430" is my defence|strong="H4869", and the God|strong="H0430" of my mercy|strong="H2617".
17 A ti, ó fortaleza minha, cantarei salmos; porque Deus é a minha defesa e o Deus da minha misericórdia.
