Provérbios 2

King James (Authorized) Version (ENG-KJV2006)

My son|strong="H1121", if thou wilt receive|strong="H3947" my words|strong="H0561", and hide|strong="H6845" my commandments|strong="H4687" with thee;

So that thou incline|strong="H7181" thine ear|strong="H0241" unto wisdom|strong="H2451", and apply|strong="H5186" thine heart|strong="H3820" to understanding|strong="H8394";

Yea, if thou criest|strong="H7121" after knowledge|strong="H0998", and liftest up|strong="H5414" thy voice|strong="H6963" for understanding|strong="H8394";

If thou seekest|strong="H1245" her as silver|strong="H3701", and searchest|strong="H2664" for her as for hid treasures|strong="H4301";

Then shalt thou understand|strong="H0995" the fear|strong="H3374" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, and find|strong="H4672" the knowledge|strong="H1847" of God|strong="H0430".

For the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* giveth|strong="H5414" wisdom|strong="H2451": out of his mouth|strong="H6310" cometh knowledge|strong="H1847" and understanding|strong="H8394".

He layeth up|strong="H6845" sound wisdom|strong="H8454" for the righteous|strong="H3477": he is a buckler|strong="H4043" to them that walk|strong="H1980" uprightly|strong="H8537".

He keepeth|strong="H5341" the paths|strong="H0734" of judgment|strong="H4941", and preserveth|strong="H8104" the way|strong="H1870" of his saints|strong="H2623".

Then shalt thou understand|strong="H0995" righteousness|strong="H6664", and judgment|strong="H4941", and equity|strong="H4339"; yea, every good|strong="H2896" path|strong="H4570".

When wisdom|strong="H2451" entereth|strong="H0935" into thine heart|strong="H3820", and knowledge|strong="H1847" is pleasant|strong="H5276" unto thy soul|strong="H5315";

Discretion|strong="H4209" shall preserve|strong="H8104" thee, understanding|strong="H8394" shall keep|strong="H5341" thee:

To deliver|strong="H5337" thee from the way|strong="H1870" of the evil|strong="H7451" man, from the man|strong="H0376" that speaketh|strong="H1696" froward things|strong="H8419";

Who leave|strong="H5800" the paths|strong="H0734" of uprightness|strong="H3476", to walk|strong="H3212" in the ways|strong="H1870" of darkness|strong="H2822";

Who rejoice|strong="H8056" to do|strong="H6213" evil|strong="H7451", and delight|strong="H1523" in the frowardness|strong="H8419" of the wicked|strong="H7451";

Whose ways|strong="H0734" are crooked|strong="H6141", and they froward|strong="H3868" in their paths|strong="H4570":

To deliver|strong="H5337" thee from the strange|strong="H2114" woman|strong="H0802", even from the stranger|strong="H5237" which flattereth|strong="H2505" with her words|strong="H0561";

Which forsaketh|strong="H5800" the guide|strong="H0441" of her youth|strong="H5271", and forgetteth|strong="H7911" the covenant|strong="H1285" of her God|strong="H0430".

For her house|strong="H1004" inclineth|strong="H7743" unto death|strong="H4194", and her paths|strong="H4570" unto the dead|strong="H7496".

None that go|strong="H0935" unto her return again|strong="H7725", neither take they hold|strong="H5381" of the paths|strong="H0734" of life|strong="H2416".

That thou mayest walk|strong="H3212" in the way|strong="H1870" of good|strong="H2896" men, and keep|strong="H8104" the paths|strong="H0734" of the righteous|strong="H6662".

For the upright|strong="H3477" shall dwell|strong="H7931" in the land|strong="H0776", and the perfect|strong="H8549" shall remain|strong="H3498" in it.

But the wicked|strong="H7563" shall be cut off|strong="H3772" from the earth|strong="H0776", and the transgressors|strong="H0898" shall be rooted out|strong="H5255" of it.
