Provérbios 3

King James (Authorized) Version (ENG-KJV2006)

My son|strong="H1121", forget|strong="H7911" not my law|strong="H8451"; but let thine heart|strong="H3820" keep|strong="H5341" my commandments|strong="H4687":

For length|strong="H0753" of days|strong="H3117", and long|strong="H8141" life|strong="H2416", and peace|strong="H7965", shall they add|strong="H3254" to thee.

Let not mercy|strong="H2617" and truth|strong="H0571" forsake|strong="H5800" thee: bind|strong="H7194" them about thy neck|strong="H1621"; write|strong="H3789" them upon the table|strong="H3871" of thine heart|strong="H3820":

So shalt thou find|strong="H4672" favour|strong="H2580" and good|strong="H2896" understanding|strong="H7922" in the sight|strong="H5869" of God|strong="H0430" and man|strong="H0120".

Trust|strong="H0982" in the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* with all thine heart|strong="H3820"; and lean|strong="H8172" not unto thine own understanding|strong="H0998".

In all thy ways|strong="H1870" acknowledge|strong="H3045" him, and he shall direct|strong="H3474" thy paths|strong="H0734".

Be not wise|strong="H2450" in thine own eyes|strong="H5869": fear|strong="H3372" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, and depart|strong="H5493" from evil|strong="H7451".

It shall be health|strong="H7500" to thy navel|strong="H8270", and marrow|strong="H8250" to thy bones|strong="H6106".

Honour|strong="H3513" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* with thy substance|strong="H1952", and with the firstfruits|strong="H7225" of all thine increase|strong="H8393":

So shall thy barns|strong="H0618" be filled|strong="H4390" with plenty|strong="H7647", and thy presses|strong="H3342" shall burst out|strong="H6555" with new wine|strong="H8492".

My son|strong="H1121", despise|strong="H3988" not the chastening|strong="H4148" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*; neither be weary|strong="H6973" of his correction|strong="H8433":

For whom the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* loveth|strong="H0157" he correcteth|strong="H3198"; even as a father|strong="H0001" the son|strong="H1121" in whom he delighteth|strong="H7521".

Happy|strong="H0835" is the man|strong="H0120" that findeth|strong="H4672" wisdom|strong="H2451", and the man|strong="H0120" that getteth|strong="H6329" understanding|strong="H8394".

For the merchandise|strong="H5504" of it is better|strong="H2896" than the merchandise|strong="H5505" of silver|strong="H3701", and the gain|strong="H8393" thereof than fine gold|strong="H2742".

She is more precious|strong="H3368" than rubies|strong="H6443": and all the things thou canst desire|strong="H2656" are not to be compared|strong="H7737" unto her.

Length|strong="H0753" of days|strong="H3117" is in her right hand|strong="H3225"; and in her left hand|strong="H8040" riches|strong="H6239" and honour|strong="H3519".

Her ways|strong="H1870" are ways|strong="H1870" of pleasantness|strong="H5278", and all her paths|strong="H5410" are peace|strong="H7965".

She is a tree|strong="H6086" of life|strong="H2416" to them that lay hold|strong="H2388" upon her: and happy|strong="H0833" is every one that retaineth|strong="H8551" her.

The \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* by wisdom|strong="H2451" hath founded|strong="H3245" the earth|strong="H0776"; by understanding|strong="H8394" hath he established|strong="H3559" the heavens|strong="H8064".

By his knowledge|strong="H1847" the depths|strong="H8415" are broken up|strong="H1234", and the clouds|strong="H7834" drop down|strong="H7491" the dew|strong="H2919".

My son|strong="H1121", let not them depart|strong="H3868" from thine eyes|strong="H5869": keep|strong="H5341" sound wisdom|strong="H8454" and discretion|strong="H4209":

So shall they be life|strong="H2416" unto thy soul|strong="H5315", and grace|strong="H2580" to thy neck|strong="H1621".

Then shalt thou walk|strong="H3212" in thy way|strong="H1870" safely|strong="H0983", and thy foot|strong="H7272" shall not stumble|strong="H5062".

When thou liest down|strong="H7901", thou shalt not be afraid|strong="H6342": yea, thou shalt lie down|strong="H7901", and thy sleep|strong="H8142" shall be sweet|strong="H6149".

Be not afraid|strong="H3372" of sudden|strong="H6597" fear|strong="H6343", neither of the desolation|strong="H7722" of the wicked|strong="H7563", when it cometh|strong="H0935".

For the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* shall be thy confidence|strong="H3689", and shall keep|strong="H8104" thy foot|strong="H7272" from being taken|strong="H3921".

Withhold|strong="H4513" not good|strong="H2896" from them to whom it is due|strong="H1167", when it is in the power|strong="H0410" of thine hand|strong="H3027" to do|strong="H6213" it.

Say|strong="H0559" not unto thy neighbour|strong="H7453", Go|strong="H3212", and come again|strong="H7725", and to morrow|strong="H4279" I will give|strong="H5414"; when thou hast|strong="H3426" it by thee.

Devise|strong="H2790" not evil|strong="H7451" against thy neighbour|strong="H7453", seeing he dwelleth|strong="H3427" securely|strong="H0983" by thee.

Strive|strong="H7378" not with a man|strong="H0120" without cause|strong="H2600", if he have done|strong="H1580" thee no harm|strong="H7451".

Envy|strong="H7065" thou not the oppressor|strong="H0376", and choose|strong="H0977" none of his ways|strong="H1870".

For the froward|strong="H3868" is abomination|strong="H8441" to the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*: but his secret|strong="H5475" is with the righteous|strong="H3477".

The curse|strong="H3994" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* is in the house|strong="H1004" of the wicked|strong="H7563": but he blesseth|strong="H1288" the habitation|strong="H5116" of the just|strong="H6662".

Surely he scorneth|strong="H3887" the scorners|strong="H3887": but he giveth|strong="H5414" grace|strong="H2580" unto the lowly|strong="H6035".

The wise|strong="H2450" shall inherit|strong="H5157" glory|strong="H3519": but shame|strong="H7036" shall be the promotion|strong="H7311" of fools|strong="H3684".
