1 O Senhor falou a Moisés na Tenda do Encontro, no deserto do Sinai, no primeiro dia do segundo mês do segundo ano, depois que os israelitas saíram do Egito. Ele disse:

50 But thou shalt appoint|strong="H6485" the Levites|strong="H3881" over the tabernacle|strong="H4908" of testimony|strong="H5715", and over all the vessels|strong="H3627" thereof, and over all things that belong to it: they shall bear|strong="H5375" the tabernacle|strong="H4908", and all the vessels|strong="H3627" thereof; and they shall minister|strong="H8334" unto it, and shall encamp|strong="H2583" round about|strong="H5439" the tabernacle|strong="H4908".

51 Sempre que o tabernáculo tiver que ser removido, os levitas o desmontarão e, sempre que tiver que ser armado, os levitas o farão. Qualquer pessoa não autorizada que se aproximar do tabernáculo terá que ser executada.

53 But the Levites|strong="H3881" shall pitch|strong="H2583" round about|strong="H5439" the tabernacle|strong="H4908" of testimony|strong="H5715", that there be no wrath|strong="H7110" upon the congregation|strong="H5712" of the children|strong="H1121" of Israel|strong="H3478": and the Levites|strong="H3881" shall keep|strong="H8104" the charge|strong="H4931" of the tabernacle|strong="H4908" of testimony|strong="H5715".
