1 And the rulers|strong="H8269" of the people|strong="H5971" dwelt|strong="H3427" at Jerusalem|strong="H3389": the rest|strong="H7605" of the people|strong="H5971" also cast|strong="H5307" lots|strong="H1486", to bring|strong="H0935" one|strong="H0259" of ten|strong="H6235" to dwell|strong="H3427" in Jerusalem|strong="H3389" the holy|strong="H6944" city|strong="H5892", and nine|strong="H8672" parts|strong="H3027" to dwell in other cities|strong="H5892".
2 And the people|strong="H5971" blessed|strong="H1288" all the men|strong="H0582", that willingly offered|strong="H5068" themselves to dwell|strong="H3427" at Jerusalem|strong="H3389".
3 Now these are the chief|strong="H7218" of the province|strong="H4082" that dwelt|strong="H3427" in Jerusalem|strong="H3389": but in the cities|strong="H5892" of Judah|strong="H3063" dwelt|strong="H3427" every one|strong="H0376" in his possession|strong="H0272" in their cities|strong="H5892", to wit, Israel|strong="H3478", the priests|strong="H3548", and the Levites|strong="H3881", and the Nethinims|strong="H5411", and the children|strong="H1121" of Solomon’s|strong="H8010" servants|strong="H5650".
4 And at Jerusalem|strong="H3389" dwelt|strong="H3427" certain of the children|strong="H1121" of Judah|strong="H3063", and of the children|strong="H1121" of Benjamin|strong="H1144". Of the children|strong="H1121" of Judah|strong="H3063"; Athaiah|strong="H6265" the son|strong="H1121" of Uzziah|strong="H5818", the son|strong="H1121" of Zechariah|strong="H2148", the son|strong="H1121" of Amariah|strong="H0568", the son|strong="H1121" of Shephatiah|strong="H8203", the son|strong="H1121" of Mahalaleel|strong="H4111", of the children|strong="H1121" of Perez|strong="H6557";
5 And Maaseiah|strong="H4641" the son|strong="H1121" of Baruch|strong="H1263", the son|strong="H1121" of Col-hozeh|strong="H3626", the son|strong="H1121" of Hazaiah|strong="H2382", the son|strong="H1121" of Adaiah|strong="H5718", the son|strong="H1121" of Joiarib|strong="H3114", the son|strong="H1121" of Zechariah|strong="H2148", the son|strong="H1121" of Shiloni|strong="H8023".
6 All the sons|strong="H1121" of Perez|strong="H6557" that dwelt|strong="H3427" at Jerusalem|strong="H3389" were four|strong="H0702" hundred|strong="H3967" threescore|strong="H8346" and eight|strong="H8083" valiant|strong="H2428" men|strong="H0582".
7 And these are the sons|strong="H1121" of Benjamin|strong="H1144"; Sallu|strong="H5543" the son|strong="H1121" of Meshullam|strong="H4918", the son|strong="H1121" of Joed|strong="H3133", the son|strong="H1121" of Pedaiah|strong="H6305", the son|strong="H1121" of Kolaiah|strong="H6964", the son|strong="H1121" of Maaseiah|strong="H4641", the son|strong="H1121" of Ithiel|strong="H0384", the son|strong="H1121" of Jesaiah|strong="H3470".

9 And Joel|strong="H3100" the son|strong="H1121" of Zichri|strong="H2147" was their overseer|strong="H6496": and Judah|strong="H3063" the son|strong="H1121" of Senuah|strong="H5574" was second|strong="H4932" over the city|strong="H5892".
10 Of the priests|strong="H3548": Jedaiah|strong="H3048" the son|strong="H1121" of Joiarib|strong="H3114", Jachin|strong="H3199".

15 Also of the Levites|strong="H3881": Shemaiah|strong="H8098" the son|strong="H1121" of Hashub|strong="H2815", the son|strong="H1121" of Azrikam|strong="H5840", the son|strong="H1121" of Hashabiah|strong="H2811", the son|strong="H1121" of Bunni|strong="H1138";
16 And Shabbethai|strong="H7678" and Jozabad|strong="H3107", of the chief|strong="H7218" of the Levites|strong="H3881", had the oversight of the outward|strong="H2435" business|strong="H4399" of the house|strong="H1004" of God|strong="H0430".
17 And Mattaniah|strong="H4983" the son|strong="H1121" of Micha|strong="H4316", the son|strong="H1121" of Zabdi|strong="H2067", the son|strong="H1121" of Asaph|strong="H0623", was the principal|strong="H7218" to begin|strong="H8462" the thanksgiving|strong="H3034" in prayer|strong="H8605": and Bakbukiah|strong="H1229" the second|strong="H4932" among his brethren|strong="H0251", and Abda|strong="H5653" the son|strong="H1121" of Shammua|strong="H8051", the son|strong="H1121" of Galal|strong="H1559", the son|strong="H1121" of Jeduthun|strong="H3038".

19 Moreover the porters|strong="H7778", Akkub|strong="H6126", Talmon|strong="H2929", and their brethren|strong="H0251" that kept|strong="H8104" the gates|strong="H8179", were an hundred|strong="H3967" seventy|strong="H7657" and two|strong="H8147".
20 And the residue|strong="H7605" of Israel|strong="H3478", of the priests|strong="H3548", and the Levites|strong="H3881", were in all the cities|strong="H5892" of Judah|strong="H3063", every one|strong="H0376" in his inheritance|strong="H5159".
21 But the Nethinims|strong="H5411" dwelt|strong="H3427" in Ophel|strong="H6077": and Ziha|strong="H6727" and Gispa|strong="H1658" were over the Nethinims|strong="H5411".
22 The overseer|strong="H6496" also of the Levites|strong="H3881" at Jerusalem|strong="H3389" was Uzzi|strong="H5813" the son|strong="H1121" of Bani|strong="H1137", the son|strong="H1121" of Hashabiah|strong="H2811", the son|strong="H1121" of Mattaniah|strong="H4983", the son|strong="H1121" of Micha|strong="H4316". Of the sons|strong="H1121" of Asaph|strong="H0623", the singers|strong="H7891" were over|strong="H5048" the business|strong="H4399" of the house|strong="H1004" of God|strong="H0430".
23 For it was the king’s|strong="H4428" commandment|strong="H4687" concerning them, that a certain portion|strong="H0548" should be for the singers|strong="H7891", due|strong="H1697" for every day|strong="H3117".
24 And Pethahiah|strong="H6611" the son|strong="H1121" of Meshezabeel|strong="H4898", of the children|strong="H1121" of Zerah|strong="H2226" the son|strong="H1121" of Judah|strong="H3063", was at the king’s|strong="H4428" hand|strong="H3027" in all matters|strong="H1697" concerning the people|strong="H5971".
25 And for the villages|strong="H2691", with their fields|strong="H7704", some of the children|strong="H1121" of Judah|strong="H3063" dwelt|strong="H3427" at Kirjath-arba|strong="H7153", and in the villages|strong="H2691" thereof, and at Dibon|strong="H1769", and in the villages|strong="H1323" thereof, and at Jekabzeel|strong="H3343", and in the villages|strong="H1323" thereof,
26 And at Jeshua|strong="H3442", and at Moladah|strong="H4137", and at Beth-phelet|strong="H1046",
27 And at Hazar-shual|strong="H2705", and at Beer-sheba|strong="H0884", and in the villages|strong="H1323" thereof,
28 And at Ziklag|strong="H6860", and at Mekonah|strong="H4368", and in the villages|strong="H1323" thereof,
29 And at En-rimmon|strong="H5884", and at Zareah|strong="H6881", and at Jarmuth|strong="H3412",
30 Zanoah|strong="H2182", Adullam|strong="H5725", and in their villages|strong="H2691", at Lachish|strong="H3923", and the fields|strong="H7704" thereof, at Azekah|strong="H5825", and in the villages|strong="H1323" thereof. And they dwelt|strong="H2583" from Beer-sheba|strong="H0884" unto the valley|strong="H1516" of Hinnom|strong="H2011".
31 The children|strong="H1121" also of Benjamin|strong="H1144" from Geba|strong="H1387" dwelt at Michmash|strong="H4363", and Aija|strong="H5857", and Beth-el|strong="H1008", and in their villages|strong="H1323",
32 And at Anathoth|strong="H6068", Nob|strong="H5011", Ananiah|strong="H6055",
33 Hazor|strong="H2674", Ramah|strong="H7414", Gittaim|strong="H1664",
34 Hadid|strong="H2307", Zeboim|strong="H6650", Neballat|strong="H5041",
35 Lod|strong="H3850", and Ono|strong="H0207", the valley|strong="H1516" of craftsmen|strong="H2791".
36 And of the Levites|strong="H3881" were divisions|strong="H4256" in Judah|strong="H3063", and in Benjamin|strong="H1144".
