1 E, chegando a manhã, todos os príncipes dos sacerdotes e os anciãos do povo formavam juntamente conselho contra Jesus, para o matarem.
2 And|strong="G2532" when they had bound|strong="G1210" him|strong="G0846", they led|strong="G0520" him away|strong="G0520", and|strong="G2532" delivered|strong="G3860" him|strong="G0846" to Pontius|strong="G4194" Pilate|strong="G4091" the governor|strong="G2232".

3 Então, Judas, o que o traíra, vendo que fora condenado, trouxe, arrependido, as trinta moedas de prata aos príncipes dos sacerdotes e aos anciãos,

4 dizendo: Pequei, traindo sangue inocente. Eles, porém, disseram: Que nos importa? Isso é contigo.

6 E os príncipes dos sacerdotes, tomando as moedas de prata, disseram: Não é lícito metê-las no cofre das ofertas, porque são preço de sangue.

7 E, tendo deliberado em conselho, compraram com elas o campo de um oleiro, para sepultura dos estrangeiros.
8 Wherefore|strong="G1352" that|strong="G1565" field|strong="G0068" was called|strong="G2564", The field|strong="G0068" of blood|strong="G0129", unto|strong="G2193" this day|strong="G4594".
8 Por isso, foi chamado aquele campo, até ao dia de hoje, Campo de Sangue.

9 Então, se realizou o que vaticinara o profeta Jeremias: Tomaram as trinta moedas de prata, preço do que foi avaliado, que certos filhos de Israel avaliaram.

10 E deram-nas pelo campo do oleiro, segundo o que o Senhor determinou.

11 E foi Jesus apresentado ao governador, e o governador o interrogou, dizendo: És tu o Rei dos judeus? E disse-lhe Jesus: Tu

12 E, sendo acusado pelos príncipes dos sacerdotes e pelos anciãos, nada respondeu.
13 Then|strong="G5119" said|strong="G3004" Pilate|strong="G4091" unto him|strong="G0846", Hearest thou|strong="G0191" not|strong="G3756" how many things|strong="G4214" they witness against|strong="G2649" thee|strong="G4675"?
13 Disse-lhe, então, Pilatos: Não ouves quanto testificam contra ti?
14 And|strong="G2532" he answered|strong="G0611" him|strong="G0846" to|strong="G4314" never|strong="G3756" a|strong="G1520" word|strong="G4487"; insomuch that|strong="G5620" the governor|strong="G2232" marvelled|strong="G2296" greatly|strong="G3029".
14 E nem uma palavra lhe respondeu, de sorte que o governador estava muito maravilhado.
15 Now|strong="G1161" at|strong="G2596" that feast|strong="G1859" the governor|strong="G2232" was wont|strong="G1486" to release|strong="G0630" unto|strong="G1520" the people|strong="G3793" a prisoner|strong="G1198", whom|strong="G3739" they would|strong="G2309".
15 Ora, por ocasião da festa, costumava o governador soltar um preso, escolhendo o povo aquele que quisesse.
16 And|strong="G1161" they had|strong="G2192" then|strong="G5119" a notable|strong="G1978" prisoner|strong="G1198", called|strong="G3004" Barabbas|strong="G0912".
16 E tinham, então, um preso bem-conhecido, chamado Barrabás.
17 Therefore when|strong="G3767" they|strong="G0846" were gathered together|strong="G4863", Pilate|strong="G4091" said|strong="G2036" unto them|strong="G0846", Whom|strong="G5101" will ye|strong="G2309" that I release|strong="G0630" unto you|strong="G5213"? Barabbas|strong="G0912", or|strong="G2228" Jesus|strong="G2424" which is called|strong="G3004" Christ|strong="G5547"?
17 Portanto, estando eles reunidos, disse-lhes Pilatos: Qual quereis que vos solte? Barrabás ou Jesus, chamado Cristo?
18 For|strong="G1063" he knew|strong="G1492" that|strong="G3754" for|strong="G1223" envy|strong="G5355" they had delivered|strong="G3860" him|strong="G0846".
18 Porque sabia que por inveja o haviam entregado.

19 E, estando ele assentado no tribunal, sua mulher mandou-lhe dizer: Não entres na questão desse justo, porque num sonho muito sofri por causa dele.
20 But|strong="G1161" the chief priests|strong="G0749" and|strong="G2532" elders|strong="G4245" persuaded|strong="G3982" the multitude|strong="G3793" that|strong="G2443" they should ask|strong="G0154" Barabbas|strong="G0912", and|strong="G1161" destroy|strong="G0622" Jesus|strong="G2424".
20 Mas os príncipes dos sacerdotes e os anciãos persuadiram à multidão que pedisse Barrabás e matasse Jesus.
21 The governor|strong="G2232" answered|strong="G0611" and|strong="G1161" said|strong="G2036" unto them|strong="G0846", Whether|strong="G5101" of|strong="G0575" the twain|strong="G1417" will ye|strong="G2309" that I release|strong="G0630" unto you|strong="G5213"? They|strong="G3588" said|strong="G2036", Barabbas|strong="G0912".
21 E, respondendo o governador, disse-lhes: Qual desses dois quereis vós que eu solte? E eles disseram: Barrabás.
22 Pilate|strong="G4091" saith|strong="G3004" unto them|strong="G0846", What|strong="G5101" shall I do|strong="G4160" then|strong="G3767" with Jesus|strong="G2424" which is called|strong="G3004" Christ|strong="G5547"? They all|strong="G3956" say unto|strong="G3004" him|strong="G0846", Let him be crucified|strong="G4717".
22 Disse-lhes Pilatos: Que farei, então, de Jesus, chamado Cristo? Disseram-lhe todos: Seja crucificado!
23 And|strong="G1161" the governor|strong="G2232" said|strong="G5346", Why|strong="G5101", what|strong="G1063" evil|strong="G2556" hath he done|strong="G4160"? But|strong="G1161" they|strong="G3588" cried out|strong="G2896" the more|strong="G4057", saying|strong="G3004", Let him be crucified|strong="G4717".
23 O governador, porém, disse: Mas que mal fez ele? E eles mais clamavam, dizendo: Seja crucificado!
24 When|strong="G1161" Pilate|strong="G4091" saw|strong="G1492" that|strong="G3754" he could prevail|strong="G5623" nothing|strong="G3762", but|strong="G0235" that rather|strong="G3123" a tumult|strong="G2351" was made|strong="G1096", he took|strong="G2983" water|strong="G5204", and washed|strong="G0633" his hands|strong="G5495" before|strong="G0561" the multitude|strong="G3793", saying|strong="G3004", I am|strong="G1510" innocent|strong="G0121" of|strong="G0575" the blood|strong="G0129" of this|strong="G5127" just person|strong="G1342": see|strong="G3700" ye|strong="G5210" to it.
24 Então, Pilatos, vendo que nada aproveitava, antes o tumulto crescia, tomando água, lavou as mãos diante da multidão, dizendo: Estou inocente do sangue deste justo; considerai isso.
25 Then|strong="G2532" answered|strong="G0611" all|strong="G3956" the people|strong="G2992", and said|strong="G2036", His|strong="G0846" blood|strong="G0129" be on|strong="G1909" us|strong="G2248", and|strong="G2532" on|strong="G1909" our|strong="G2257" children|strong="G5043".
25 E, respondendo todo o povo, disse: O seu sangue caia sobre nós e sobre nossos filhos.
26 Then|strong="G5119" released he|strong="G0630" Barabbas|strong="G0912" unto them|strong="G0846": and|strong="G1161" when he had scourged|strong="G5417" Jesus|strong="G2424", he delivered|strong="G3860" him to|strong="G2443" be crucified|strong="G4717".
26 Então, soltou-lhes Barrabás e, tendo mandado açoitar a Jesus, entregou-o para ser crucificado.
27 Then|strong="G5119" the soldiers|strong="G4757" of the governor|strong="G2232" took|strong="G3880" Jesus|strong="G2424" into|strong="G1519" the common hall|strong="G4232", and gathered|strong="G4863" unto|strong="G1909" him|strong="G0846" the whole|strong="G3650" band|strong="G4686" of soldiers.
27 E logo os soldados do governador, conduzindo Jesus à audiência, reuniram junto dele toda a coorte.
28 And|strong="G2532" they stripped|strong="G1562" him|strong="G0846", and put on|strong="G4060" him|strong="G0846" a scarlet|strong="G2847" robe|strong="G5511".
28 E, despindo-o, o cobriram com uma capa escarlate.
29 And|strong="G2532" when they had platted|strong="G4120" a crown|strong="G4735" of|strong="G1537" thorns|strong="G0173", they put|strong="G2007" it upon|strong="G1909" his|strong="G0846" head|strong="G2776", and|strong="G2532" a reed|strong="G2563" in|strong="G1909" his|strong="G0846" right hand|strong="G1188": and|strong="G2532" they bowed the knee|strong="G1120" before|strong="G1715" him|strong="G0846", and mocked|strong="G1702" him|strong="G0846", saying|strong="G3004", Hail|strong="G5463", King|strong="G0935" of the Jews|strong="G2453"!
29 E, tecendo uma coroa de espinhos, puseram-lha na cabeça e, em sua mão direita, uma cana; e, ajoelhando diante dele, o escarneciam, dizendo: Salve, Rei dos judeus!
30 And|strong="G2532" they spit|strong="G1716" upon|strong="G1519" him|strong="G0846", and took|strong="G2983" the reed|strong="G2563", and|strong="G2532" smote|strong="G5180" him|strong="G0846" on|strong="G1519" the head|strong="G2776".
30 E, cuspindo nele, tiraram-lhe a cana e batiam-lhe com ela na cabeça.
31 And|strong="G2532" after|strong="G3753" that they had mocked|strong="G1702" him|strong="G0846", they took|strong="G1562" the robe|strong="G5511" off|strong="G1562" from him|strong="G0846", and|strong="G2532" put|strong="G1746" his own|strong="G0846" raiment|strong="G2440" on|strong="G1746" him|strong="G0846", and|strong="G2532" led|strong="G0520" him|strong="G0846" away|strong="G0520" to|strong="G1519" crucify|strong="G4717" him.
31 E, depois de o haverem escarnecido, tiraram-lhe a capa, vestiram-lhe as suas vestes e o levaram para ser crucificado.
32 And|strong="G1161" as they came out|strong="G1831", they found|strong="G2147" a man|strong="G0444" of Cyrene|strong="G2956", Simon|strong="G4613" by name|strong="G3686": him|strong="G5126" they compelled|strong="G0029" to|strong="G2443" bear|strong="G0142" his|strong="G0846" cross|strong="G4716".
32 E, quando saíam, encontraram um homem cireneu, chamado Simão, a quem constrangeram a levar a sua cruz.
33 And|strong="G2532" when they were come|strong="G2064" unto|strong="G1519" a place|strong="G5117" called|strong="G3004" Golgotha|strong="G1115", that|strong="G3739" is|strong="G2076" to say|strong="G3004", a place|strong="G5117" of a skull|strong="G2898",
33 E, chegando ao lugar chamado Gólgota, que significa Lugar da Caveira,
34 They gave|strong="G1325" him|strong="G0846" vinegar|strong="G3690" to drink|strong="G4095" mingled|strong="G3396" with|strong="G3326" gall|strong="G5521": and|strong="G2532" when he had tasted|strong="G1089" thereof, he would|strong="G2309" not|strong="G3756" drink|strong="G4095".
34 deram-lhe a beber vinho misturado com fel; mas ele, provando-o, não quis beber.
35 And|strong="G1161" they crucified|strong="G4717" him|strong="G0846", and parted|strong="G1266" his|strong="G0846" garments|strong="G2440", casting|strong="G0906" lots|strong="G2819": that|strong="G2443" it might be fulfilled|strong="G4137" which was spoken|strong="G4483" by|strong="G5259" the prophet|strong="G4396", They parted|strong="G1266" my|strong="G3450" garments|strong="G2440" among them|strong="G1438", and|strong="G2532" upon|strong="G1909" my|strong="G3450" vesture|strong="G2441" did they cast|strong="G0906" lots|strong="G2819".
35 E, havendo- o crucificado, repartiram as suas vestes, lançando sortes, para que se cumprisse o que foi dito pelo profeta: Repartiram entre si as minhas vestes, e sobre a minha túnica lançaram sortes.
36 And|strong="G2532" sitting down|strong="G2521" they watched|strong="G5083" him|strong="G0846" there|strong="G1563";
36 E, assentados, o guardavam ali.
37 And|strong="G2532" set up|strong="G2007" over|strong="G1883" his|strong="G0846" head|strong="G2776" his|strong="G0846" accusation|strong="G0156" written|strong="G1125", THIS|strong="G3778" IS|strong="G2076" JESUS|strong="G2424" THE KING|strong="G0935" OF THE JEWS|strong="G2453".
37 E, por cima da sua cabeça, puseram escrita a sua acusação: Este é Jesus , O Rei dos Judeus .
38 Then|strong="G5119" were there|strong="G4717" two|strong="G1417" thieves|strong="G3027" crucified with|strong="G4862" him|strong="G0846", one|strong="G1520" on|strong="G1537" the right hand|strong="G1188", and|strong="G2532" another|strong="G1520" on|strong="G1537" the left|strong="G2176".
38 E foram crucificados com ele dois salteadores, um, à direita, e outro, à esquerda.
39 And|strong="G1161" they that passed by|strong="G3899" reviled|strong="G0987" him|strong="G0846", wagging|strong="G2795" their|strong="G0846" heads|strong="G2776",
39 E os que passavam blasfemavam dele, meneando a cabeça
40 And|strong="G2532" saying|strong="G3004", Thou that destroyest|strong="G2647" the temple|strong="G3485", and|strong="G2532" buildest|strong="G3618" it in|strong="G1722" three|strong="G5140" days|strong="G2250", save|strong="G4982" thyself|strong="G4572". If|strong="G1487" thou be|strong="G1488" the Son|strong="G5207" of God|strong="G2316", come down|strong="G2597" from|strong="G0575" the cross|strong="G4716".
40 e dizendo: Tu, que destróis o templo e, em três dias, o reedificas, salva-te a ti mesmo; se és o Filho de Deus, desce da cruz.
41 Likewise|strong="G3668" also|strong="G2532" the chief priests|strong="G0749" mocking|strong="G1702" him, with|strong="G3326" the scribes|strong="G1122" and|strong="G2532" elders|strong="G4245", said|strong="G3004",
41 E da mesma maneira também os príncipes dos sacerdotes, com os escribas, e anciãos, e fariseus, escarnecendo, diziam:
42 He saved|strong="G4982" others|strong="G0243"; himself|strong="G1438" he|strong="G1410" cannot|strong="G3756" save|strong="G4982". If|strong="G1487" he be|strong="G2076" the King|strong="G0935" of Israel|strong="G2474", let him|strong="G2597" now|strong="G3568" come down|strong="G2597" from|strong="G0575" the cross|strong="G4716", and|strong="G2532" we will believe|strong="G4100" him|strong="G0846".
42 Salvou os outros e a si mesmo não pode salvar-se. Se é o Rei de Israel, desça, agora, da cruz, e creremos nele;
43 He trusted|strong="G3982" in|strong="G1909" God|strong="G2316"; let him deliver|strong="G4506" him|strong="G0846" now|strong="G3568", if|strong="G1487" he will have|strong="G2309" him|strong="G0846": for|strong="G1063" he said|strong="G2036", I am|strong="G1510" the Son|strong="G5207" of God|strong="G2316".
43 confiou em Deus; livre-o agora, se o ama; porque disse: Sou Filho de Deus.
44 The thieves|strong="G3027" also|strong="G2532", which were crucified with|strong="G4957" him|strong="G0846", cast|strong="G3679" the same|strong="G0846" in his|strong="G0846" teeth|strong="G3679".
44 E o mesmo lhe lançaram também em rosto os salteadores que com ele estavam crucificados.
45 Now|strong="G1161" from|strong="G0575" the sixth|strong="G1623" hour|strong="G5610" there was|strong="G1096" darkness|strong="G4655" over|strong="G1909" all|strong="G3956" the land|strong="G1093" unto|strong="G2193" the ninth|strong="G1766" hour|strong="G5610".
45 E, desde a hora sexta, houve trevas sobre toda a terra, até à hora nona.

46 E, perto da hora nona, exclamou Jesus em alta voz, dizendo: Eli, Eli, lemá sabactâni, isto é, Deus meu, Deus meu, por que me desamparaste?
47 Some|strong="G5100" of them that stood|strong="G2476" there|strong="G1563", when they heard|strong="G0191" that, said|strong="G3004", This|strong="G3778" man calleth for|strong="G5455" Elias|strong="G2243".
47 E alguns dos que ali estavam, ouvindo isso, diziam: Este chama por Elias.

48 E logo um deles, correndo, tomou uma esponja, e embebeu-a em vinagre, e, pondo- a numa cana, dava-lhe de beber.
49 The rest|strong="G3062" said|strong="G3004", Let be|strong="G0863", let us see|strong="G1492" whether|strong="G1487" Elias|strong="G2243" will come|strong="G2064" to save|strong="G4982" him|strong="G0846".
49 Os outros, porém, diziam: Deixa, vejamos se Elias vem livrá-lo.
50 Jesus|strong="G2424", when he had cried|strong="G2896" again|strong="G3825" with|strong="G2896" a|strong="G5456" loud|strong="G3173" voice|strong="G5456", yielded up|strong="G0863" the ghost|strong="G4151".
50 E Jesus, clamando outra vez com grande voz, entregou o espírito.

51 E eis que o véu do templo se rasgou em dois, de alto a baixo; e tremeu a terra, e fenderam-se as pedras.
52 And|strong="G2532" the graves|strong="G3419" were opened|strong="G0455"; and|strong="G2532" many|strong="G4183" bodies|strong="G4983" of the saints|strong="G0040" which slept|strong="G2837" arose|strong="G1453",
52 E abriram-se os sepulcros, e muitos corpos de santos que dormiam foram ressuscitados;
53 And|strong="G2532" came out|strong="G1831" of|strong="G1537" the graves|strong="G3419" after|strong="G3326" his|strong="G0846" resurrection|strong="G1454", and went|strong="G1525" into|strong="G1519" the|strong="G4172" holy|strong="G0040" city|strong="G4172", and|strong="G2532" appeared|strong="G1718" unto many|strong="G4183".
53 E, saindo dos sepulcros, depois da ressurreição dele, entraram na Cidade Santa e apareceram a muitos.

64 Manda, pois, que o sepulcro seja guardado com segurança até ao terceiro dia; não se dê o caso que os seus discípulos vão de noite, e o furtem, e digam ao povo: Ressuscitou dos mortos; e assim o último erro será pior do que o primeiro.
65 Pilate|strong="G4091" said|strong="G5346" unto them|strong="G0846", Ye have|strong="G2192" a watch|strong="G2892": go your way|strong="G5217", make|strong="G0805" it as sure|strong="G0805" as|strong="G5613" ye can|strong="G1492".
