60 But|strong="G2532" found|strong="G2147" none|strong="G3756": yea, though|strong="G2532" many|strong="G4183" false witnesses|strong="G5575" came|strong="G4334", yet found they|strong="G2147" none|strong="G3756". At the last|strong="G5305" came|strong="G4334" two|strong="G1417" false witnesses|strong="G5575",
61 And said|strong="G2036", This|strong="G3778" fellow said|strong="G5346", I am able|strong="G1410" to destroy|strong="G2647" the temple|strong="G3485" of God|strong="G2316", and|strong="G2532" to build|strong="G3618" it|strong="G0846" in|strong="G1223" three|strong="G5140" days|strong="G2250".
62 And|strong="G2532" the high priest|strong="G0749" arose|strong="G0450", and said|strong="G2036" unto him|strong="G0846", Answerest thou|strong="G0611" nothing|strong="G3762"? what|strong="G5101" is it which these|strong="G3778" witness against|strong="G2649" thee|strong="G4675"?
63 But|strong="G1161" Jesus|strong="G2424" held his peace|strong="G4623". And|strong="G2532" the high priest|strong="G0749" answered|strong="G0611" and said|strong="G2036" unto him|strong="G0846", I adjure|strong="G1844" thee|strong="G4571" by|strong="G2596" the|strong="G2316" living|strong="G2198" God|strong="G2316", that|strong="G2443" thou tell|strong="G2036" us|strong="G2254" whether|strong="G1487" thou|strong="G4771" be|strong="G1488" the Christ|strong="G5547", the Son|strong="G5207" of God|strong="G2316".

65 Then|strong="G5119" the high priest|strong="G0749" rent|strong="G1284" his|strong="G0846" clothes|strong="G2440", saying|strong="G3004", He hath spoken blasphemy|strong="G0987"; what|strong="G5101" further|strong="G2089" need|strong="G5532" have we|strong="G2192" of witnesses|strong="G3144"? behold|strong="G1492", now|strong="G3568" ye have heard|strong="G0191" his|strong="G0846" blasphemy|strong="G0988".
66 What|strong="G5101" think|strong="G1380" ye|strong="G5213"? They answered|strong="G0611" and|strong="G1161" said|strong="G2036", He is|strong="G2076" guilty of|strong="G1777" death|strong="G2288".
67 Then|strong="G5119" did they spit|strong="G1716" in|strong="G1519" his|strong="G0846" face|strong="G4383", and|strong="G2532" buffeted|strong="G2852" him|strong="G0846"; and|strong="G1161" others|strong="G3588" smote him with the palms of their hands|strong="G4474",
68 Saying|strong="G3004", Prophesy|strong="G4395" unto us|strong="G2254", thou Christ|strong="G5547", Who|strong="G5101" is he|strong="G2076" that smote|strong="G3817" thee|strong="G4571"?
69 Now Peter|strong="G4074" sat|strong="G2521" without|strong="G1854" in|strong="G1722" the palace|strong="G0833": and|strong="G2532" a|strong="G1520" damsel|strong="G3814" came unto|strong="G4334" him|strong="G0846", saying|strong="G3004", Thou|strong="G4771" also|strong="G2532" wast|strong="G2258" with|strong="G3326" Jesus|strong="G2424" of Galilee|strong="G1057".
70 But|strong="G1161" he denied|strong="G0720" before|strong="G1715" them all|strong="G3956", saying|strong="G3004", I know|strong="G1492" not|strong="G3756" what|strong="G5101" thou sayest|strong="G3004".
71 And|strong="G1161" when|strong="G1831" he|strong="G0846" was gone out|strong="G1831" into|strong="G1519" the porch|strong="G4440", another|strong="G0243" maid saw|strong="G1492" him|strong="G0846", and|strong="G2532" said|strong="G3004" unto them that were there|strong="G1563", This|strong="G3778" fellow was|strong="G2258" also|strong="G2532" with|strong="G3326" Jesus|strong="G2424" of Nazareth|strong="G3480".
72 And|strong="G2532" again|strong="G3825" he denied|strong="G0720" with|strong="G3326" an oath|strong="G3727", I do|strong="G1492" not|strong="G3756" know|strong="G1492" the man|strong="G0444".
73 And|strong="G1161" after|strong="G3326" a while|strong="G3397" came unto|strong="G4334" him they that stood by|strong="G2476", and said|strong="G2036" to Peter|strong="G4074", Surely|strong="G0230" thou|strong="G4771" also|strong="G2532" art|strong="G1488" one of|strong="G1537" them|strong="G0846"; for|strong="G1063" thy|strong="G4675" speech|strong="G2981" bewrayeth|strong="G1212" thee|strong="G4571".
74 Then|strong="G5119" began he|strong="G0756" to curse|strong="G2653" and|strong="G2532" to swear|strong="G3660", saying, I know|strong="G1492" not|strong="G3756" the man|strong="G0444". And|strong="G2532" immediately|strong="G2112" the cock|strong="G0220" crew|strong="G5455".
75 And|strong="G2532" Peter|strong="G4074" remembered|strong="G3415" the word|strong="G4487" of Jesus|strong="G2424", which said|strong="G2046" unto him|strong="G0846", Before|strong="G4250" the cock|strong="G0220" crow|strong="G5455", thou shalt deny|strong="G0533" me|strong="G3165" thrice|strong="G5151".
