4 E os seus discípulos responderam-lhe: De onde poderá alguém satisfazê-los de pão aqui no deserto?

5 E perguntou-lhes: Quantos pães tendes? E disseram-lhe: Sete.

6 E ordenou à multidão que se assentasse no chão. E, tomando os sete pães, e tendo dado graças, partiu-os, e deu-os aos seus discípulos, para que os pusessem diante deles, e puseram-nos diante da multidão.

8 E comeram, e saciaram-se; e dos pedaços que sobejaram levantaram sete cestos.

9 E os que comeram eram quase quatro mil; e despediu-os.

10 E, entrando logo no barco, com os seus discípulos, foi para as partes de Dalmanuta.

11 E saíram os fariseus, e começaram a disputar com ele, pedindolhe, para o tentarem, um sinal do céu.

12 E, suspirando profundamente em seu espírito, disse: Por que pede esta geração um sinal? Em verdade vos digo que a esta geração não se dará sinal algum.

13 E, deixando-os, tornou a entrar no barco, e foi para o outro lado.

14 E eles se esqueceram de levar pão e, no barco, não tinham consigo senão um pão.

15 E ordenou-lhes, dizendo: Olhai, guardai-vos do fermento dos fariseus e do fermento de Herodes.

17 E Jesus, conhecendo isto, disse-lhes: Para que arrazoais, que não tendes pão? não considerastes, nem compreendestes ainda? tendes ainda o vosso coração endurecido?

18 Tendo olhos, não vedes? e tendo ouvidos, não ouvis? e não vos lembrais,

19 Quando parti os cinco pães entre os cinco mil, quantas alcofas cheias de pedaços levantastes? Disseram-lhe: Doze.

20 E, quando parti os sete entre os quatro mil, quantos cestos cheios de pedaços levantastes? E disseram-lhe: Sete.
21 And|strong="G2532" he said|strong="G3004" unto them|strong="G0846", \+w How is it that|strong="G4459"\+w* \+w ye do|strong="G4920"\+w* \+w not|strong="G3756"\+w* \+w understand|strong="G4920"\+w*?
21 E ele lhes disse: Como não entendeis ainda?
22 And|strong="G2532" he cometh|strong="G2064" to|strong="G1519" Bethsaida|strong="G0966"; and|strong="G2532" they bring|strong="G5342" a blind man|strong="G5185" unto him|strong="G0846", and|strong="G2532" besought|strong="G3870" him|strong="G0846" to|strong="G2443" touch|strong="G0680" him|strong="G0846".
22 E chegou a Betsaida; e trouxeram-lhe um cego, e rogaram-lhe que o tocasse.
23 And|strong="G2532" he took|strong="G1949" the blind man|strong="G5185" by the hand|strong="G5495", and led|strong="G1806" him|strong="G0846" out of|strong="G1854" the town|strong="G2968"; and|strong="G2532" when he had spit|strong="G4429" on|strong="G1519" his|strong="G0846" eyes|strong="G3659", and put|strong="G2007" his hands|strong="G5495" upon him|strong="G0846", he asked|strong="G1905" him|strong="G0846" if|strong="G1487" he saw|strong="G0991" ought|strong="G5100".
23 E, tomando o cego pela mão, levou-o para fora da aldeia; e, cuspindo-lhe nos olhos, e impondo-lhe as mãos, perguntou-lhe se via alguma coisa.
24 And|strong="G2532" he looked up|strong="G0308", and said|strong="G3004", I see|strong="G0991" men|strong="G0444" as|strong="G5613" trees|strong="G1186", walking|strong="G4043".
24 E, levantando ele os olhos, disse: Vejo os homens; pois os vejo como árvores que andam.
25 After that|strong="G1534" he put|strong="G2007" his hands|strong="G5495" again|strong="G3825" upon|strong="G1909" his|strong="G0846" eyes|strong="G3788", and|strong="G2532" made|strong="G4160" him|strong="G0846" look up|strong="G0308": and|strong="G2532" he was restored|strong="G0600", and|strong="G2532" saw|strong="G1689" every man|strong="G0537" clearly|strong="G5081".
25 Depois disto, tornou a pôr-lhe as mãos sobre os olhos, e o fez olhar para cima: e ele ficou restaurado, e viu a todos claramente.
26 And|strong="G2532" he sent|strong="G0649" him|strong="G0846" away|strong="G0649" to|strong="G1519" his|strong="G0846" house|strong="G3624", saying|strong="G3004", \+w Neither|strong="G3366"\+w* \+w go|strong="G1525"\+w* \+w into|strong="G1519"\+w* \+w the town|strong="G2968"\+w*, \+w nor|strong="G3366"\+w* \+w tell|strong="G2036"\+w* \+add it\+add* \+w to any|strong="G5100"\+w* \+w in|strong="G1722"\+w* \+w the town|strong="G2968"\+w*.
26 E mandou-o para sua casa, dizendo: Nem entres na aldeia, nem o digas a ninguém na aldeia.
27 And|strong="G2532" Jesus|strong="G2424" went out|strong="G1831", and|strong="G2532" his|strong="G0846" disciples|strong="G3101", into|strong="G1519" the towns|strong="G2968" of Cæsarea|strong="G2542" Philippi|strong="G5376": and|strong="G2532" by|strong="G1722" the way|strong="G3598" he asked|strong="G1905" his|strong="G0846" disciples|strong="G3101", saying|strong="G3004" unto them|strong="G0846", \+w Whom|strong="G5101"\+w* \+w do|strong="G3004"\+w* \+w men|strong="G0444"\+w* \+w say|strong="G3004"\+w* \+w that I|strong="G3165"\+w* \+w am|strong="G1511"\+w*?
27 E saiu Jesus, e os seus discípulos, para as aldeias de Cesaréia de Filipe; e no caminho perguntou aos seus discípulos, dizendo: Quem dizem os homens que eu sou?
28 And|strong="G1161" they answered|strong="G0611", John|strong="G2491" the Baptist|strong="G0910": but|strong="G2532" some|strong="G0243" say, Elias|strong="G2243"; and|strong="G1161" others|strong="G0243", One|strong="G1520" of the prophets|strong="G4396".
28 E eles responderam: João o Batista; e outros: Elias; mas outros: Um dos profetas.
29 And|strong="G2532" he|strong="G0846" saith|strong="G3004" unto them|strong="G0846", \+w But|strong="G1161"\+w* \+w whom|strong="G5101"\+w* \+w say|strong="G3004"\+w* \+w ye|strong="G5210"\+w* \+w that I|strong="G3165"\+w* \+w am|strong="G1511"\+w*? And|strong="G1161" Peter|strong="G4074" answereth|strong="G0611" and saith|strong="G3004" unto him|strong="G0846", Thou|strong="G4771" art|strong="G1488" the Christ|strong="G5547".
29 E ele lhes disse: Mas vós, quem dizeis que eu sou? E, respondendo Pedro, lhe disse: Tu és o Cristo.
30 And|strong="G2532" he charged|strong="G2008" them|strong="G0846" that|strong="G2443" they should tell|strong="G3004" no man|strong="G3367" of|strong="G4012" him|strong="G0846".
30 E admoestou-os, para que a ninguém dissessem aquilo dele.

31 E começou a ensinar-lhes que importava que o Filho do homem padecesse muito, e que fosse rejeitado pelos anciãos e príncipes dos sacerdotes, e pelos escribas, e que fosse morto, mas que depois de três dias ressuscitaria.
32 And|strong="G2532" he spake|strong="G2980" that saying|strong="G3056" openly|strong="G3954". And|strong="G2532" Peter|strong="G4074" took|strong="G4355" him|strong="G0846", and began|strong="G0756" to rebuke|strong="G2008" him|strong="G0846".
32 E dizia abertamente estas palavras. E Pedro o tomou à parte, e começou a repreendê-lo.

33 Mas ele, virando-se, e olhando para os seus discípulos, repreendeu a Pedro, dizendo: Retira-te de diante de mim, Satanás; porque não compreendes as coisas que são de Deus, mas as que são dos homens.

34 E chamando a si a multidão, com os seus discípulos, disse-lhes: Se alguém quiser vir após mim, negue-se a si mesmo, e tome a sua cruz, e siga-me.

35 Porque qualquer que quiser salvar a sua vida, perdê-la-á, mas, qualquer que perder a sua vida por amor de mim e do evangelho, esse a salvará.

37 Ou, que daria o homem pelo resgate da sua alma?

38 Porquanto, qualquer que, entre esta geração adúltera e pecadora, se envergonhar de mim e das minhas palavras, também o Filho do homem se envergonhará dele, quando vier na glória de seu Pai, com os santos anjos.
